*A few hours later*

Yerin POV
I came out of my room after knowing for sure that my eyes and nose isn't red anymore; until I know for sure that I'm ready to meet him face to face, like how I did before.

I went down stairs to find something to eat. I saw that there was nothing, so I went to the fridge and checked if there's anything I can cook with. I took it out and started cooking; this was what I made:

Kimchi Stew

Kimchi Fried Rice

Korean Rolled Omelette

I then went to one of the maids I saw, cleaning the living room on the first floor.

Yerin: um excuse me, can you tell Mr. Kim and Mr. Kim's son to come down stairs, I just finished making lunch for them
Maid: I'll tell them to come down, but are you going to eat with them too, Ms. Jung
Yerin: no, I'll make something for me and the others after they finish eating
Maid: you don't have to do that, Ms. Jung. I'll be in big trouble if Mr. Kim knows about this
Yerin: it's okay I'll tell him why, okay
Maid: you are very kind, Ms. Jung, but I-
Yerin: don't worry, I'll tell them everything.
Maid: but Ms. Jung-
Yerin: They won't be able to do anything to you if I'm here to protect you, right?
I said and smiled at her a bit to reassure her.

Maid: I-I'll d-do as y-you say, Ms. Jung-
Yerin: call me Yerin, what's your name?
Maid: Sooyoung, Park Sooyoung, but you can call me Joy
Yerin: well Joy, you seen to be the same age as I am, how about we become friends?
Joy: b-but Ms- I mean Yerin, I-I'll be in big t-trouble if Mr. Kim knows
Yerin: it's okay, I'm here to protect you, now go, go tell them
I smile and we bow to each other.

Joy POV
Ms- I mean Yerin, is very nice and kind. She is very beautiful as well. Just how can someone be more perfect than her, she's kind, caring, protective, beautiful, and especially... she has a beautiful heart.

I then noticed that I've reached the door of Mr. Kim's. I knocked and called out,

Joy: Mr. Kim, lunch is made, you can go eat now
He then opened the door.

Mr. Kim: oh Sooyoung, I'll, come down in a minute, okay
Joy: ok, and Mr. Kim...
Mr. Kim: yes?
Joy: you chose a very beautiful bodyguard for your son
Mr. Kim: yes, indeed I did. She's very different from others girls, huh?
Joy: yes, she is. I'll go call for young Mr. Kim now
He nodded and I went.

I knocked on Taehyung's door. And he opened the door.
Taehyung: yes?
Joy: young Mr. Kim, lunch is made, you may go eat
Taehyung: ok, you may go now
And I did, back to cleaning.

Taehyung POV
I went down stairs to eat, but while I was, I saw Yerin also walking up the stairs.

I stopped her by holding her wrist and asked...

Taehyung: are you going to eat with us in the dining room
Yerin: no
She said, in a colder tone than the first time we met; she didn't even give me one little glance.

She yanked my hands from her wrist harshly and walked to her room, slamming her door hardly.

I sighed and continued my way down to the dining room. When I got there, I saw that dad was here before me.

Mr. Kim: is Ms. Jung going to eat with us, son?
Taehyung: I asked, but she said no
I said and sat down, in my seat.

Mr. Kim: she still the same old Yerin from 4 years ago, huh?
He sighed heavily and continued eating.

I then put down my utensils, and looked up to him with a confused look.

Taehyung: you know her story, dad?
Mr. Kim: not really, it's just a rumor that a lot of people thought of because of her coldness
Taehyung: can you tell me tho?
Mr. Kim: I can tell you, my son, but I can't
Taehyung: well why not, dad?
I asked.

Mr. Kim: I cannot help these people to spread their fake rumors around, you know how much I hate lying. You know that you, yourself hate lies as well
Taehyung: ah, yes, I understand, dad. I won't ask anymore
Mr. Kim: you can, but not to me
Taehyung: then who should I ask?
Mr. Kim: Yerin

*Time Skip*

Yerin POV
After Mr. Kim and Taehyung finished eating, I went back down and cooked something for me and the other maids. This was what I made, something healthy and delicious.

I made bibimbap for each of the maids.

After awhile, we all finished eating and joy came up to me and said.

I was holding a bowl in my hands and she suddenly said my name, but got cut off by...
