background- maddie is originally from the east coast, but moved out to ohio to live with her aunt after 9th grade. she has severe anxiety, and was bullied very badly throughout school. she tried to commit suicide when she was in ninth grade, and her relationship with her parents has been very strained since. for the rest of high school, she wanted to leave her past behind and move as far away as possible, which is why she now lives in ohio.
