Fade's Pov:

A week later:

The wind blew up the curtains and a shiver went up my spine as I sat looking out the large black window. I looked upon the gardens showing the beautiful different colored flowered. Smiling I got up from the window making my way towards the door.

It's been a while since me and Stefan talked or even had breakfast together. Even if he has hidden stuff from me, I don't care. I didn't talk to him after that night also because he hadn't come back to the mansion too.

Who am I to him anyways? But I have started developing something for him, I don't know what it is but it's something. Everytime he smiles at me, I blush. Everytime he holds my face, butterflies dance around my stomach. Everytime he talks, he feels like the most important person in the world.

I made my way towards the dark hallway towards the huge elevator. I went down the kitchen while I saw no one. It was dead silence but then I heard giggles of a little girl, that was definitely Bailey. I came towards the doors of the garden and saw Bailey playing with some children, laughing and running around.

"Good morning, come sit," a husky voice called out while I jumped a bit because I hadn't noticed Stefan sitting by the lawn chairs.

"Morning," I replied back to him and sat by him. He was immaculatly dressed and drank tea while looking and smiling towards the children. His jaw was so sharp and his pink lips were so kissable. I was probably eye raping him so I looked away towards the children.

"The other 3 are Derek's," he looked at me smiling and I nodded slightly. "Maria is oldest, then comes Casey and David," he told while I smiled. They were all very beautiful so much like their father.

"Fade, I've been meaning to talk to you," suddenly Stefan said breaking the silence while I looked at him surprised.

"Yeah, Is everything okay?" I asked him concerned.

"Yes, everything's alright, can you come to my room so we can talk. Julia will watch the kids," he spoke getting up offering me a hand. I nodded and stood up myself following him.

We came to the main hallway towards the 2nd floor and to his room. As soon as the door opened, the familiar toxic spicy scent met my nose and I looked at his room. We sat on his bed, Stefan sitting across from me.

"So there is something bothering me, I just want to let it out," he confessed looking at me. I nodded slightly concerned, maybe he didn't want me in his house anymore. Maybe he will kick me from here, Oh God what if he-

"Fade?" Stefan asked while I looked at him humming. "Oh sorry, go on," I spoke giving him a slight smile.

"I wanted to say that I think I'm falling for you. I know it's been only a few months since we met but you are someone who gives me butterflies," he said and I could see his ears turning red but then I looked away.

"What? What does that mean?" I asked softly hoping his answer to be something different but what he said made my eyes wide.

"Be my girlfriend," he said before grabbing both of my hands. No, wasn't Valentine pregnant? Is he going to play with me now?

"What about Valentine? I am sorry that day I heard your conversation," I spoke while looking down not making eye contact with him. I felt bad for eves dropping.

He looked confused at first because of what I said but then he explained, "Princess, Valentine is my ex, she has nothing to do with my life and also that was about someone else," he stopped before speaking again while I listened quietly.

"Before I met you, I got drunk with a few friends out of town and I slept with a coworker. And now she claimed to be pregnant with me," he explained as I nodded feeling jealousy overtake me. "But turns out she was pregnant with someone else and not me," he spoke while I looked at my hands and then him.

"Don't worry, I'm not a fuckboy. She was the second woman I was with after Valentine," he explained making my eyes widen in disbelief. Wow. I'm surprised. "It's true. Before Valentine and while being with her, I never slept with anyone else. I was loyal to her."

"What happened after?" I asked him, changing the subject while he sighed.

"Well she got fired from her job and we've held her for further investigation," he said while smiling at me.

I didn't smile back yet just looked down. I gasped as he pulled me closer to him as I looked up only to staring in his green orbs. He was pretty close to me and I felt deja vu vibes because we've done this a lot of times. He took one of his hands raking it through my hair crashing his lips to mine. My eyes widened as he kissed me urging me to kiss him back and well... I did.

He wrapped one arm around my waist and one in my hair as my hands went to his neck my eyes closing in ecstacy. I felt absolutely euphoric as it felt I was flying. He trailed his lips to my jaw and then to my neck. He kissed my earlobe and kissed my neck.

"You still didn't answer my question," his voice vibrated through my neck sending chills down my spine. He trailed his lips back up and pressing his lips deeply to mine again.

"Don't tell me that you don't enjoy this," he spoke huskily and I sighed into the kiss as he smiled pulling away completely. I don't know how to feel. He stared at me for a while and pressed a kiss to my forehead as I closed my eyes smiling slightly. I got up from the bed.

"I should go," I said while opening his door.

"I'll be waiting for your answer Princess," he replied while I went out his door towards my room. As soon as I reached my room, I lied down on the bed thinking what the flippity fuck just happened.

Did he really ask me out? B-but I thought he didn't like me? Just like that I grabbed my blanket smiling and closing my eyes in pure euphoria.
