Standing face to face, father and son stood silently. Lev hadn't seen his son, Andrei in decades. Andrei was his last born, and his favourite. He had always shown favouritism, yet his golden child was the only one that ran away. He was heartbroken, not ever believing he'd done something wrong for his precious to run away.

He had been in grief all these years, only for his son to have grown a hatred for him. He wanted to deny it, but alas truth reveals itself as did his final note. He hadn't liked the drastic difference between how his father raised him compared to his sisters, such as Alia who had been sold to America.

Andrei wasn't ready to forgive his father, although he was ready to kill his father. Holding the gun in hand, in between them hung a family portrait on the wall from many decades ago. Lev did look at it with sorrow everytime he looked at young Andrei's innocent and smiling face. He was grown up now, he had outgrown him and gotten more muscular.

Lev knew he had reached the bottom of the barrel as Andrei without hesitation aimed the gun directly at his forehead.

"𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐲?"

Andrei spoke, his voice much deeper than Lev remembered. A smile—not a menacing one, but a cheerful one—appeared on Lev's face.

"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡, 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 'папа' 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞"

Lev answered, moving his arms upwards as if he were begging for death. Amdrei sighed but decided to fulfil his father's wish.He said one final thing before pulling the trigger and watching his father's blood spill.

"Если это твое последнее желание, папа, так тому и быть."
