Gyatso ran down the mountain trail. He had to get away from Chen. He was puffing and desperate to run away from her. She may be his elder sister, but now the family bloodline was shattered into a million pieces. All their siblings acted like strangers. Maybe it was because they all except for Chen and Taifei were half siblings. Nevertheless they had been brought up together in the same household.

Chen was only a few months older than Gyatso. He thought the closeness in age would keep them together. He was wrong. His sister was a much different person now. The cruelty she went through shook her up to the core.

He was now running away from her, in desperation. All he asked was for some freedom, to be his own person. That managed to shake her up more. He attempted to take some help from Tir. It wasn't much help.

As he slowed down, Chen caught up to him. Her being much taller than him and taking longer steps, she didn't need much of an effort to catch up with him by simply walking. Gyatso stopped for a moment. Chen kept walking behind him. Her eyes that once shined a bright yellow, now seemed so dull. She lost herself. She was too far gone to be brought back.

Gyatso heard her steps and froze. He didn't speak: silently teared up. He began to panick. He wasn't sure what she was going to do. He felt scared. He hadn't realized when he had already fainted. Chen didn't speak either.

Chen walked up to him and checked his pulse, he was alright. She picked him up and placed him over her shoulder, he was light compared to her. Along with her being much stronger, she had no difficulty taking him to where he was meant to be.

She knew Kuang was waiting for her as well. She didn't send him at first, some part of her felt the need to herself take Gyatso rather than Kuang taking him. She just wanted to see him again, but didn't want him to leave again.

Something else inside her twisted her lips into a smile. She felt the urge to take more, take more but gave back none. As she carried him back, she knew she was no longer letting him go. It wasn't love, or sympathy. It was a new mania taking over. She wanted more.

She began to dig her fingernails into him, feeling the need to draw blood. Her mind began to feel clouded as she felt like throwing him down, to see him wake up in agony. That is what she did.

She tossed him onto the ground for him to wake up. She succeeded. That managed to bring him back to his senses. He didn't look at her, stared at the sky in confusion. She giggled at his pathetic face. Gyatso then realized she was still there. He began to panick as he froze again. Chen walked up to him and glared down at him. Despite her glare, she had a pleasant smile. It managed to creep him out, what was she going to do to him?

His breathing began to get heavy once again as she decided to speak up.
