"That's enough" I say looking around "Thanks guys"

The soldiers say goodbye with a quick wave. I look across the field seeing everything ready. New equipment scattered around. Now it really felt like a training place.

We started preparing everything before the sun came up.  Now the sky was already clear.

"Are you okay?" Nicolai asked in my ear.

I turn my head to see him looking at me worriedly.

"I'm tired" sigh "I just want this to be over soon. In fact, I wish this wasn't even happening"

"We brought breakfast" Alina hummed happily behind us.

I smile going to sit on one of the practice mats. It's been a long time since we've had a quiet moment like this. Just talking to distract us.

I don't know how much time passed, but our little bubble burst when Dawling arrived on the field.

"What is all of this?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at me

"I said I'd bring new equipment" I shrug my shoulders standing up "I usually follow through on what I say"

"This school is mine, Verena" she approached, annoyed "We'll do things my way"

"No, we won't. Well, not completely" I shrug. "Why don't you stop acting like a kid who doesn't like to share things so we can work on it together? The last thing the students need right now is an argument between the two people who should be on the same page. Is this too hard for you?"

I tilt my head to the side waiting for her answer. In silence she walked back inside the school.

"Was that a yes or a no?" Maya looked at us confused

"It means she's going to lower her head a little" Laurent replied

"Great way to start the day" Octavian chuckled stretching lazily on the floor "How about we make it even better? With a little duel"

Dorian bowed extending his hand to me.

"Would you give me the honor, dear?" he said casually as if he was asking to dance

"I would love to" I accepted with a smirk "How did you know I needed a new punching bag?"

Dorian swallowed, losing his smile.

Silva woke up missing a weight and warmth against his body.He opened his eyes looking for Verena. Her side of the bed is cold indicating that she has been awake for a long time.

Confused, he got up to take a shower. His back was burning from the hot water. He smiled as he remembered the moment the scratches were made. The memory of his fiancée moaning and writhing in pleasure beneath him invaded his mind. Pleasure he made her feel.

But his favorite moment was when they looked at each other, showing how they felt through their eyes. And it wasn't just sex, they were making love.

Verena used to fall asleep before him. This allowed him to admire her a little more.

He never stopped wondering how he could be so lucky. He doesn't know what made him walk down the street that night. But he would always be thankful for doing it. He could no longer imagine himself without the brunette who stole his heart in the blink of an eye.

He couldn't wait to be able to tell everyone that she was his wife. His wife. And he couldn't stop imagining how beautiful she would look in a wedding dress, walking towards him at the altar.

He blinked, stopping daydreaming. He finished getting ready and left his room walking around the school. He found the silence strange. He checked the time on his phone.

He was going to put it back in his pocket when a message from Sky appeared.

'Training field! Now!'

Arriving on the field, he saw most of the students looking anxiously at one of the training stages. He looked in that direction feeling his body heat up with anger.

Verena and Dorian were supposed to be fighting, but somehow Dorian must have taken her down. He was on top of her, between her legs. Their faces were too close for Silva's liking.

Dorian lowered his face further touching their noses. They whisper a few words to each other, then smile mischievously.

He came closer, almost kissing her. And she didn't stop him. Their friends looked at each other nervously, not knowing what Nicolai e Silva's reaction would be.

The two were in the same position. Arms crossed, tight.  Their faces serious.

When Doria backed away a little, Verena took advantage and lifted her head hitting her forehead on Dorian's nose.

She shifted to the top, landing two punches to his face.

She got up picking up two sticks from the floor. Dorian did the same, wiping his bleeding nose.

He attacked trying to hit the brunette. But she dodged easily.

Silva moved closer to Nicolai's side.

Me and Dorian walked in circles, waiting to see who would attack first.

He glanced quickly at Saul before grinning evilly.

"Tell me, Verena dear, which one of us is better in bed?"  Dorian asked pointing to Saul who widened his eyes "He didn't know about us?" Dorian laughed

I hear our friends holding back their laughter.

I look back to see Nicolai also dragged Dorian somewhere.

If this gets bad for me, I'll kill him.

"What the fuck was that Celeste?" It got bad "He was going to kiss you, and you were going to let him?"

"I wasn't going to let anything" I replied taking off my jacket "I don't think you saw the headbutt I gave him"

"I saw you smiling at each other. After that, I find out that you've been together" he ran his hands through his hair angrily "Do you like him? You've been with him..."

"You better not finish that sentence Silva" I interrupt annoyed "I would never, EVER cheat on you like that. And I swear if you think about it again, I'll throw something at your head"

"What about Nicolai? Laurent? Octavian?" He counted on his fingers "Have you slept with them too?"

"No Silva, I didn't sleep with them. I'm finding it amazing that you ignored what I said. Every time anything happened between me and him, I was drunk. Completely drunk and stoned. He even worse" he stopped walking putting his hands on his hips

He looked me up and down before focusing on my face. He was still angry. But he was calmer than before.

"Can we go back now?" I start walking towards the door

As I pass him, his hands pull me to him as his lips take mine.  Without asking permission, his tongue invaded my mouth.

I look at the water fairy statue in the greenhouse. Viperine had to leave her right in the middle of the hall.

"Terra, you shouldn't be here" Ben scolded his daughter

"No dad. I'll talk" She replies confidently "There was a snake hurting Mr Silva. And I squeezed it with my vines. And then I saw Viperine with some marks. And I've seen her walking with a snake in her hand. The same snake that was in the forest"

"Yes, but as Celeste said we can't arrest another student without evidence" Saul said supporting me

"So let's test" I look at Dawling with a raised eyebrow "let's get her snake, and let's test to see if anything happens"

I don't know whether to thank her or hit her for doing some of the work for me.
