I run my hands over my face, trying to push the sleep away. I had forgotten how tiring and stressful it was to be around these people. I'm still amazed at how Luna managed to blow the fuse I don't have in just a few hours. She likes to test my nonexistent patience.

Getting close to the cafeteria, I start to hear the noise of the students. I take a deep breath trying to calm myself down so I don't accidentally turn someone to ash.

I walk through the cafeteria praying to be ignored.  Unfortunately that didn't happen. I hear Sky and the girls calling me. I pretend not to hear and keep walking in hopes they give up. It seems today is the day to have my prayers ignored.

I stop walking, taking another deep breath before turning around.

"Where's Stella?" asked at the same time.

Did they rehearse?

"Back home" Hell. I mentally correct

"Why?"  Terra moved her hands nervously

"If you don't know, it's because is none of your business" I say softly with my eyes closed before yawning.

"Celeste" I hear my fiance behind me

"Everyone is awake and well rested. Good for you" I smile sarcastically "Let's talk somewhere else"

"Oh, yeah" I turn to the students in the cafeteria "You're free for today. Enjoy. Because from tomorrow things will be very different around here"

"What are you doing?"  Saul looked at me confused

"If you follow me you will find out"

I walk towards the office feeling the three older ones following me.

"They will have advanced training.  No matter what age or level, they will be trained like real soldiers."

"We already have a teaching plan for them. It worked for us and it will work for them" Dowling refused

Saul was sitting next to me on the couch. Ben idly by the window. The two were silent just listening.

"In the past you were already trained from the beginning for war. These students have only heard stories and are not physically and mentally prepared for it. You need to be tougher and be tough with them"

"Marco and Noura did well" Ben blurted out a little nervously.

"So well it took them a week. In less time than that, the people I trained found nine Burned Ones and we managed to eliminate four" I look in Dawling's direction almost seeing smoke coming out of her "Be glad I'll just help with equipment, planning and training" I roll my eyes at her reaction "And not take your place as Headmister"

"What?" she widened her eyes

"Luna wanted to take you out of your position and put me as temporary Headmister" I yawn again just wanting to go to rest

"And you would love that" she accused me with her eyes tight
"Never liked being ordered around. It would be wonderful for you to tell us what to do" "You never bossed me around, Dawling. I did things because I wanted to. I say no, going against the queen for you, and that's how you pleased me." I let out a discredited laugh.

"She wanted to do this since last year, but I refused. And even after you let a Medusa, and a girl wanting to free Rosalind get into the school, and let your assistant who happened to be a spy, die right under your nose, I convinced her to keep things the way they are. Oh, and let's not forget Saul infected because you wanted to keep that thing alive"

"Celeste" he puts his hand on my knee trying to calm me down

"And even though I refused, she made it clear that if I want, I can give orders. So I suggest you don't provoke me. Don't make me regret it and call her" I continue moving my leg away from his touch.

I get up leaving them alone. Leaving the room I see Aisha trying to pretend she wasn't listening to the conversation.

Callum and his ability to know how to lie but not know how to hide things.

I leave the bathroom with only a silk robe catching the eye of Saul who was standing at the window. He looked me up and down, hungry.

He shook his head and looked away. Scratching his throat, he looked at me seriously. Trying to keep the focus on my face.

"What was that?" he asked.

"If you came here to argue with me or defend Dowling, don't even waste your breath and get out of here"

I head towards the kitchen cutting myself an apple. I feel him approaching me from behind.

"Are you okay?" His voice taking on a milder, more worried tone.

"No Saul, I'm not okay" I throw the knife in the sink hardly
"For almost two weeks, I don't sleep, or eat right. I was attacked and infected. I spent the night awake solving things that are not mine, listening to people I hate and annoy me, complaining in my ear. Going against the Queen of Solaria to try to help you, especially Dawling, so that in the end I arrive here and be treated as an enemy. I still have many other things to do. And to make it worse, no matter how tired I am, I'm so stressed I won't be able to sleep."

I place my hand on the counter, lowering my head. I feel a small relief to have said all this.

"You're very tense love" he said putting his hands on my shoulders.

He pulls me up, straightening my posture, starting a massage. Little by little I feel my neck and shoulders relaxing.

"Let me help you" he whispered against my ear. A shiver ran down my body along with his hands.

Grabbing my waist he turns me to him. I don't have time to think before he kisses me. The kiss was slow, deep, just savoring each other's taste. Our tongues curling together in a sweet dance.

He opens my robe a little, showing only a small part of my body to him. He pulls away abruptly and his gaze goes straight to the Injurie the Burned One did to me.

It was clean and now it could be seen better. Three long, deep cuts not yet healed.

I can still hear the sound of the Burned One claws ripping through my flesh.

"How did this happen?"

"I walked away from my team. It only took a few minutes. When I came back to reality I was surrounded by four of them. I didn't have time to react…..."

"What do you mean come back to reality? Did it happen again?" interrupted me

"This time it was different. It was like I was in a trance. I can't explain it. I saw, several images at the same time, several voices. And..." I stopped getting restless and nervous

"AND....?"  He lowered his face trying to make me look at him.

His eyes. They always capture me. I could spend hours admiring him.

"I think I remembered my name" I mumbled feeling out of breath.

"Baby this is amazing" he smiled excitedly "What is it?"

"Sadira" I say aloud for the first time. That stirred something in my head.

"Why aren't you happy?"  He placed his hands on my face.

"Because that doesn't help me at all Saul. Look I don't want to think about it right now. I don't want to think about anything anymore" I huff feeling frustrated.

He studied me closely. I thought he was going to insist, but what he did surprised me.

"As you wish" he pulled me up walking me on his arms to the bed.

He lays me down on it and opened the thin cloth, completely exposing my body to him. He climbed onto the bed kneeling between my legs.

My heart races seeing that predatory gaze return to his eyes.  Dilated pupils showing desire. He looked at me from above, as if I were his prey. I already feel a heat between my legs with the anticipation of what he was going to do to me.

"You still haven't told me how it was yesterday" I look up curiously "Was Bloom okay?"

"She was. We found her and Beatrix on the forest path near the school." He explained.

"Were they hurt?"

"No" he gave a small smile pressing me closer to his chest "I love when you do this"

"This what?"

"Worry. Would be a wonderful mother" I look down awkwardly remembering something "By the way, I dreamed about you yesterday"

"What was the dream about?"

"I was coaching the students. And I saw you walking with a little boy by your side, and a little girl in your arms. And when you got closer……" one of his hands went down to my belly making me shiver. "I saw you with a pregnant belly"

He lifted his eyes from my belly to my face. It wasn't the first time he'd talked about children. And that always made me happy, but also very nervous.

"I want to make this dream come true" His attention goes back to my belly "I want to marry you. Have a family with you. Before I met you I thought I could never have this. Then you came along and turned my world upside down . And it was the best thing that ever happened to me."

"I think about it a lot too. We're going to make this dream come true. Let's just wait for the hurricane that's coming, to pass. And when it passes, let's focus on ourselves, and our future" agreed happy at the idea.

"Was anyone else with them?"  back to the main subject

"No. But Terra said Viperine Gorgona was with them."  he grimaced looking thoughtful "Soon afterward Viperine appears holding hands with Riven. He says they were together the whole time"

"And you believed it?"

"Not really. But we can't do anything until we have proof. Tonight Farah will interrogate Beatrix" I let out a yawn making him laugh "Rest love. You need to."

He kissed me on the forehead and pulled back the covers to keep us warm.

After tiring days, I was finally able to rest. Happy to finally be with the man I love.

Beatrix's hysterical screams echoed off the stone walls.  Dawling's eyes glowed furiously, trying to get past the girl's mental barriers. Silva was right behind the woman, apprehensive and worried that Beatrix was in too much pain.  What she did was wrong, but she was still a child.

What they didn't know is that a fourth person was with them.  Hidden in the shadows.

"Farah, she's not talking " said Silva, not wanting to hear the screams of pain anymore.

"I can make her" She pushed her magic further into Beatrix's mind.

"You're hurting her" insisted worried

"What I'm doing is pushing through her mental defenses. It' s painless" explained "This is an act"

Beatrix opened her eyes with a sly smile decorating her face.  She rose from the bed and faced the two directors.  Silva felt chills running through his body.

"I wonder if anyone will believe you." Beatrix hissed "I doubt it. My story's the better one. It's what they'll whisper in the halls when this is all over. They'll say 'Beatrix was damaged, everyone knew that, but the Headmistress was fucking obsessed'"

"Callum was clearly trying to help you." Dawling said furious "Why did you kill him?" 

"' They'll say Dowling went to her cell every night for a week and violently prodded ber fragile mind'" continued without caring

"There's nothing fragile about you. Where did you go with Bloom? Did she help you break into my office?"

"'Beatrix's screams echoed through the school"

"The Burned Ones that have appreared, do you have something to do with them?"

Taking advantage of the girl's distraction, she forced herself once more to see the image of a snake. A strangely familiar snake. Along with Beatrix and Bloom, in Aster dell. Before she could go any deeper, a stronger, denser barrier stopped her. The force of that magic made her take a step back.

There was someone else with them. A fourth person infiltrated the school. Someone strong.

"Who is the snake?" ordered Dawling "Took Bloom to Aster dell and had a snake with you"

The image of the snake flashed through Silva's mind. A tiger snake. He recognized it instantly.

It was the same snake that tried to strangle him when he was in the forest. A Medusa. An evil creature that should be extinct. There hadn't been a record of a Medusa in years.

Where did she come from? How did she get in Alfea? And why?

"You know there is a Medusa walking through Alfea, don't you?" Dawling said, Beatrix is silent "Who is she?"

"I don't know" She hissed

"Yes, you do" She did not believe in her word "Terra insisted so much saying that Vipperine was with you. Should I investigate her next? "

"Medusas don't exist anymore" said Beatrix "They were all murdered in cold blood by people like you"

Dawling took another step back, surprised by her words.  Silva swallowed, strange shivers hitting him. He could have sworn he felt a cold blow on the back of his neck, with the sensation of being watched.

"Sorry. Was tha not the story you wanted to hear?" Beatriz provoked "I'll try harder for the next night"

Dawling marched off, bubbling with rage. Before going on, Silva looked around. But there was no one else there.

After the door closed, the woman who was just watching revealed herself. Her laugh cutting through the silence.

"Beautiful show, little hurricane" congratulated approaching the iron bars.

"I learned from the best"

Verena smiled proudly. She called the younger one closer.  She took her wrists carefully, not wanting to hurt her further.

"This hurts. Can you take them off? whimpered

"Unfortunately not. I need you to be strong, but it's only going to be for a short time" She assured, holding back so she wouldn't break the bracelets "I can take your pain away. I'll do this until this is over"

Beatrix breathed a sigh of relief as the pain faded.

"Soon they'll get to Viperine. If it weren't for you, she would have seen more"

"It'll be good if they get Viperine too"

"What?" Beatrix looked at her confused "She's not going to like this"

"Sometimes we have to do some things against our will to get what we want" She let go of her hands "And she will understand. Because you're going to repeat to her what I'm going to say now. Dawling without realizing it, is doing things in our favor. She thinks Bloom will understand that she's trying to protect everyone and the school. But in the redhead's eyes, Dawling lied, hid dangerous secrets, and now took from her one of the only people who gave her what she wanted. Answers. And soon after, she will get another person who also helped her see what was hidden" Beatrix smiled in understanding, "Bloom is impulsive. And she'll do anything to get what she wants. And she'll want to let you out. And with you out, you'll take her to Rosalind to free her. And with Rosalind free, we've won! "
