"When you called me, I didn't think we were going on a murder spree."

"Not a murder spree," I clarify, "just a surprise visit."

"So murder spree," Talon finalizes to himself.

After leaving our building, I called him and said I'd get him some food. He didn't believe me for obvious reasons, so that's how he ended up coming along. I may have punched him in the stomach, and he punched the shit out of me after. That's how I knew I was forgiven.

It's how we do things. None of that deep talk shit to resolve things. We'd probably kill each other before that happened. Made an oath on it too, I think. Either one of us try to have a deep talk about how we feel for the other, and it'll result in some type of injury. There's still scars on our body from the way we do things.

"I would've been peaches and cream if you just gave me the food," Talon speaks up, again, slumping his way beside me.

"You decided to come along."

"Because you're a liar! You never willingly give me food."

I shrug, neither confirming or denying the statement. Talon groans, the sound of it bouncing off the walls. It's dead silent in the building we're in, so his voice must've raised some alarms. I doubt Ambino would leave himself vulnerable to invasions. You'd think the boss of a gang would be tough, but he's not. He's a coward hidden behind a mere facade. I'm determined to bring that side out of him- for fun, and for Talon.

"We'll be in deep fucking shit if you kill him," Talon decides to announce.

"Probably. You scared?"

"Hell no. I just look too good to be dead."

I glance at him, a small smirk forming, "actually, I think it'd make you look better. You're fucking hideous."

Talon scoffs, not saying anything else. He'd go all day long about his "charming looks," but it looks like I have him beat this time. I mentally pat my back at the win, and stop in front of the door that belongs to our so-called boss.

"I don't feel like getting shot in the stomach again, so-"

I knock on the door, interrupting the tangent that'd put me on hold for what I need to do. Talon looks offended at the sudden interruption but this is nothing new, so he takes it with a minor grain of salt. A muffled voice sounds from behind the door, giving us the clear to enter.

I grin before slowly opening the door. Give it that dramatic effect, you know? Talon stays close behind me on high alert. For myself and him because I'm known to be reckless and careless at times.

Ambino looks up from his phone, and a wide grin spreads across his face at the sight of me. I'm tempted to slice his mouth open before sewing it back together. And I don't know how to sew, so it wouldn't be pretty for him at all. I gesture for Talon to close the door as I sit down in a seat in front of our boss.

"I see your puppy found you. Guess he learns," is the first thing that leaves his mouth.

"He did," I reply.

Talon rolls his eyes from next to me, and I know I'll have to double the food I already planned on giving him.

"You wanted to see me, specifically," I bring up.

"Yes."

"So?"

"There's this deal. I know only you can do it, and maybe your...lackey. It pays good money."

That's two times he said something slick about Talon. For someone who's evidently vulnerable, he talks a lot of shit. So do I, but I can back it up every time.

I lean forward, seemingly interested in what he had to say. The bastard keeps a grin on his face, like he knows he's got me. I gesture for him to keep going, and he pulls a folder from underneath his desk. I barely glance at it when he slides it to me, but Talon takes it upon himself to see what's inside.

"Keep talking," I tell him, not interested in any games.

"An important customer wants one of their clients dead. Someone that crossed them and caused a loss in a major hit. The benefits are huge, and could play well for you and me."

"I'm not a hitman," I remind him, closing the folder that Talon slides back to me.

"I'm estimating ten grand or more, on top of products that could sell for a fortune. Think about it, Malik. We need an answer by tomorrow."

"Mhm," I hum, "is that all?"

"Yes, it is."

"Okay," I say, then give a little smile, "I'll think about it if you do something for me."

"What is it?"

"Lay your hands flat on the table."

Ambino does it with little hesitation making me give him my best generous smile. I act as if I'm standing up just for the fun of it, but I pull two of my best knives out and pierce it through his hands. The sound of the blades slicing through his flesh, his screams, and the knives going through his wooden desk are all heard at once. He must be glad his office is sound proof.

Talon lets out a sarcastic "ooh" at the sight of blood gushing down his desk. The amount of force I put behind it was no joke, and honestly his blood on the desk is like a work of art. Maybe I should sign my name. Just for the fun of it.

Ambino tries desperately to wiggle his hands free, and if he keeps doing that...he won't have hands after this.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I pretend to wince, as if I feel the pain he feels.

"That has to hurt like all hell," Talon comments.

I nod before walking around the desk to stand behind the boss himself. His attempts to free himself are adamant, but useless. He isn't getting anywhere unless I take the knives out myself, or he rips open his own hands. You'd think boss man would try to be tough, but like I thought- he's nothing everyone thinks him to be.

Talon stays seated in his spot, enjoying the show. I know he wouldn't lay a dirty hand on Ambino because he's our "boss." Crossing your boss almost always puts a target on your back. That level of disrespect isn't tolerated no matter the facts. But I don't give a fuck. I'm not scared of any fucker that can't do things face to face. And the bastard shouldn't have hurt my brother.

I definitely don't act like it, but Talon is my blood brother from a different mother. I'll have his back until I die.

"Fucking let me go!" Ambino screams in pain, sweat forming.

"I will," I reassure him, "after you apologize."

"For what!? I just offered you the biggest deal of your fucking life!"

"Yes, you did."

I reach over and harsh-fully pull out one of my blades. Blood spurts everywhere and I swear Ambino could've been mistaken for a siren. He immediately clutches his gushing hand close to his body, and his pleas fall on deaf ears.

"That was punishment for your hands. So, the next time you think about shooting someone, I want you to remember this exact situation."

I hold the bloody knife up to his neck, sizing it up.

"Now...stay still for me."

He did the exact opposite of what I told him, his body automatically starting to thrash around.

"Don't kill me! You know how this will end for you!"

"I know," I hum, "I'm not going to kill you. Just hurt you a little."

I drag the knife slowly down his neck, purposely stopping at his adam's apple, before dragging it down more. Talon leans forward in the seat, his eyes hooded with amusement. He's been urging me to do something like this, and take over. I'm still not doing that shit, but this is close enough.

Ambino trembles under me, no longer pleading his case. He gave up already, but that's no fun. I'm not going to stop because he stopped begging. He needs to know his place with me, and his boundaries. Unfortunately for him, he crossed one of those boundaries.

The knife held steadily in my hand makes it way down to Ambino's stomach. I pop the buttons open, but stop before doing what I've been planning to,

"Say please," I taunt.

A head shake.

"Say please, and I'll end this much quicker. You want that right?"

Silence.

Then...

"Please, oh god, please. That what you want to hear? Please!"

"Good," I praise, "that's all you had to say."

I plunge the knife deep into his stomach, and his gutteral cries almost deafen me. Talon coos, asking if it hurts. I smirk and twist the blade for extra measure. Ambino screams bloody murder for a couple more minutes before I slowly take the knife out.

"What do you think hurts more," I ask Talon, "this or a bullet to the gut?"

"Well, I've been shot many times before but it's been through and through. This? I'd say is worse."

"Is that why you're doing this?! Because I pinched you a little?" Ambino screams out, attempting to sit up.

I push him back down even if his other hand wouldn't allow him to go anywhere. More thrashing around and i'm tempted to permanently silent him.

"It was more than that, you bastard," Talon grits out.

Neither of them can say much more as I snatch the knife out of his other hand. He's bleeding out too much, and I don't need him dead yet. More blood spurts out, but that doesn't stop him from jumping out his seat. I wipe the two knives off on his suit jacket that lay on the back of the chair.

"See? I didn't kill you," I say, in an almost happy tone, "aren't you happy?"

No words are spoken from our supposed boss, since he falls to the ground, passed out. Talon decides to get up at that point, walking over to him to check his pulse. I look at all the blood dripped and smeared on his desk- the flow of it dripping onto his carpeted floor.

I ignore it after the mere glance, then trash the knives somewhere in his office. I couldn't care less if someone found them, but I don't want any more excess blood on me.

"He's alive," Talon confirms.

"Good. I'll tell somebody else to get him."

Talon shrugs, and we leave the office with the door widely open. I'm reminded for the thirtieth time that I owe Talon food, so that's what we do after leaving the building.

I get Talon a variety of foods, then drop him off. He stitched himself up, and he doesn't know how to do that shit. So, he needs to heal a little more. Plus, there's somewhere else I had to be.

In between driving, I shred off my shirt and throw it somewhere in the back before replacing it with a fresh one. I've had many experiences where I had to do something like this, so keeping control of the car is no problem. It's when I reach my destination that I can relax and change into new pants. I throw on a jacket, and get out.

The garage lot is empty, so the only sound heard is my car locking. I pick up my pace to the elevator that seemed to be open. Someone exits as I walk in, and I press the top floor, My foot taps impatiently to the elevator music the entire way, my being moving fast when the doors finally open back up.

I'm met with the same lady that tried stopping me before, but I pay her no mind. I start walking past her desk.

"Um, sir, you were here last time and-"

"Yeah, I know. I'm not supposed to be back there," I finish for her, and continue walking anyway.

She sighs, and goes to pick up the phone but is stopped by the guy that I met before. James, I think.

"Malik! Hey, what are you doing?" he comes up to me with his hand held out.

I briefly shake it, "Ziya here?"

"She is."

"Good. Do me a favor, and don't come in with all the talking?"

"Sir, yes sir," he salutes with a smirk before heading the other way.

I nod, thinking I might like him a little more than last time. I head to Ziya's office, and don't bother in knocking or hesitating. I walk right in, seeing her talk profusely fast on the phone. She glances up when I close the door and lock it. An amused grin spreads wide across her face instead of the small scowl that was just there.

I skip past her office chairs just like last time, turn her body towards me, spread her legs, then kneel in between them. She takes a hand and runs them through my hair before gripping it, so my head is tilted up to her. She holds the phone away from her ear for a moment.

"Why are you here?"

"You know why," I tell her, roaming her goddess like features, "I need you."
