Zion pulls out his phone and unlocks it. We sit their while he digs through his phone. I asked him, "What are you doing?"
"Showing you the best group in the world."
"Oh cool, you're going to show me some Twice." I joked. He gave me a glare.
"No, stupid, I'm showing you my group."
"Slow down their Hercules. You're head might explode from you're ego."
"Their are five of us in total." He shows me a photo of the five of them. I hop onto the machine and looked at this phone. He pointed to the members. "Their me, Brandon, Nick, Edwin and Austin. Austin is the eldest, while being a really good choreographer. Then it's Nick, Brandon me and Edwin. Everyone is a really good dancer and we produce our own music."
"And then theirs you" I joked.
"Ah Yes. The greatest one of them all."
"But that's really impressive. It takes talent to create music."
"You've composed music?" He asked.
{Admiration}
I hugged one of my knees. "Composed? You can call it anything but compose. I've tried once and gave up. I packed up the whole set and put it in my closet."
"You gave up? Just like that?"
"I was seventeen and had no faith in anything I did really."
"I'll teach you." I stopped dead in my tracks. He grinned at me.
"What?"
"I'll teach you how to create music again, and maybe you'll become a featured artist."
I frowned. "I just met you, you barley know anything about me and you've just handed me a whole career." He stood their flabbergasted. "What's my name? How old am I? This isn't a teen fanfic where you expect the girl to jump for any chance their is. 'My mama told me, ain't nothing in this world is free.'..."
"Exactly what you said before, we just met-"
"-And I know everything about you already."
"To be fair a lot of that is exposed on the internet. So tell me, what's your name?" He defended.
"Why would I tell that to a stranger?"
"Her Name is Ximena, dear!" Mrs. Reed called out to Zion. He thanked her and turned back to me.
My face flushed with color as my first name has been revealed like a prize. I yelled over to her, "Mind your business!"
"No! Get interesting!"
He turned his attention onto me. "Okay Mrs Ximena. Does she have a last name?"
"She does." I stick out my hand and he grasps it. "Write. Ximena Write."
"That sounds so boring."
"Oh and yours isn't? Zion Kuwonu."
"It's cute! I'm cute."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Certainly." I looked down at him from on top of the washing machine. Hand in hand. His hand fully engulfing mine. I looked from his eyes to his hands.
"Just kiss already!" She shouted. I chose to ignore her and focus on our hands. He chuckled.
{Lust}
"Anyways." He trailed off and the front door opened. Out of old middle school habits, we turned to see who it was. Amaya, with Niomi and Marlene trailing behind her, walked in laughing.
"And I told him, 'I'm way out of your league. Go back to the bitch you were talking with in your dms."
Marlene held onto Amayas arms and looked up at the brown eyed girl. "You didn't."
"Oh, I did."
"Hey guys." I shifted my eyes over to them and tried to forget about the towering man over me. All laughter stopped and they looked behind me. Marlene took out her phone and started to viciously type away at something. She showed it to Amaya and she gasped and grasped the phone. Amaya walked over to me and gave me a half hearted hug.
She plastered a huge smile on her face and slung her arm around me. "Who's your friend Ximena?"
"Zion" he went out to shake her hand, but Amaya completely missed his hand and went in for a hug. He awkwardly hugged her back, Niomi was recording while Marlene shrikes.
"Who's your new man?" Marlene called out. They walked closer and I was being trampled by teenage girls.
"Oh my god guys, cut it out." She mocks. One hand covering her face while the other was hooked onto his waist.
"Nice to meet you too..." He unhooked his arms. I shifted through the small crowd and headed over to my laundry on the opposite side of the room.
Don't get me wrong, I love the three of them like sisters but sometimes they give me a fake 'toxic' vibe. But I can't be too sure if that's just their personality or the way they joke around.
Marlene continued with the questions as Amaya was completely enjoying this and would watch this back later. "Y'all dating now or whattt?"
"Get a room." I called out and put my clothes away.
Niomi turned to me and snapped. "Omg, bitch is always ruining the fucken fun"
"Shake my head, mind yo dam business."
"Jesus, it was a joke." I muttered. I continued to take out my clothing. "Sensitive ass bitch."
"Alrighty ladies, ima leave. I was having a conversation with someone." He unhooked and walked over to me. "Can I get you're number?"
"Oh god, that's really cringey."
"Just pass over you're number."
"You can have my number." Amaya jumped into the conversation and hooked herself back onto me. She forced my arm to sling over hers. "We're best friends you know."
"Really." He eyed her.
"Isn't that true?" She smiled at me. I smiled back, maybe them excluding me was all in my head.
{Doubt}
"Okay, but hand me you're number."
"I don't know about this."
"Don't be stingy, pass the man you're phone number."
"How am I going to make you stan us if you don't even have my number."
"Many ways. We could meet up at a time and place."
"Just give me you're number."
"I'll just do it." Amaya grabbed my phone and before I could snatch it back, she gripped onto my wrist and used my thumb for the passcode.
'What is this? The matrix's?' I asked as Zion gave me back my phone. Quickly, he collected his clothing and waved goodbye at everyone.
"Pass his number."
"Excuse me?"
