Time changes everything but leaves some scars behind. Hiding their scars, they moved ahead in life but what happens when their paths cross again? Will their love resurface or will they be separated again?

"Please don't do this.. no.. no.. stop it.. no!!!" She woke up with a gasp. Her breaths came in pants as she tightly clutched her blanket. Tears dripped down her face as she cried hysterically.

Her father came rushing by her side and wiped her forehead with his handkerchief. She hugged him while sobbing in his arms.

"It's ok Princess.. it's ok.. everything will be fine" her father whispered as his heart ached looking at the condition of his daughter.

"He..he--"

"Sshh.. go to sleep princess.. it's going to be okay" her father assured her and made her lie on the bed and covered her with the blanket.

He sat besides her as she tightly held on to his hand. He caressed her hairs softly as a tear escaped his eye.

"I cannot see you in this pain my princess"

"Do you really think you will succeed?" The man mocked her. She glared at him with fire blazing in her eyes.

"Don't consider my helplessness to be my weakness" she gritted her teeth. The man just laughed at her.

"You will know it soon" she said and walked out with her bags, her head held high. Her grip tightened on her bag as she heard a voice. She knew she had to do this.

"I will be back soon.. I promise" she mumbled and walked away controlling her tears.

"Dad.. I really want to do this" she said trying to convince her father. Her father shook his head.

"But how will you manage alone beta (child)? You know--"

"Dad this is my dream.. you know right? please dad.. I promise I will take care of myself" she assured him.

"Fine! I will give you permission but only on one condition.. if anything happens you will not hide it from me?"

"I promise dad.."

He nodded. She squealed in happiness and hugged him. He smiled at her childish behaviour.

"I am trusting you with this.. I hope you don't disappoint me Shergill!" Colonel Batra spoke.

"Yes sir!"

He walked out of his cabin and sighed. He drove to his house and packed his bag. His eyes moved to the photo frame laying on the side table. He picked the frame and caressed it lovingly.  He never wanted to go there but destiny had some plans for him.

A girl walked in as she opened her cupboard and took out her gun. She tucked it in and walked out of her room.

"Are you leaving again?" A sudden voice stopped her. She looked back and nodded.

"I have to leave"

"But your--"

"For me my country comes first.. nothing else.. I will call you once I reach there.. take care" she walked away from there without listening to the person. She knew it was no time for emotions.

She held her head as blood oozed out from her fresh wound. She laid on the ground breathing heavily. Her vision blurred with tears as she looked around for help.

She knew she won't able to make it but she still had a hope in her heart. Suddenly the door burst open and few people walked in. All she could hear was the firing of bullets.

All of a sudden she was pulled up and her brown orbs met with his. She breathed heavily and let herself surrender in his arms.
