The summer before junior year of high school, Maddy Perez went to visit her grandmother in New York. Maddy wasn't happy. Sure, she loved her grandmother, Pricilla, and New York was fun, but she would be alone all summer with just her grandmother. No friends at all.

That was until Maddy meets Saige Jackson. A wild girl who loves to go out at night, and can practically smell where the party is.

Meeting Saige and her friends was the best thing that happened to Maddy all summer, so when she had to leave to get back to California, Maddy was devastated.

Until she arrives at school and sees the last person she ever expected to see there.

NOTES

- You may change the faceclaim, BUT the faceclaim has to stay female and poc!!

- The majority of this book should take place in New York, and pre-season 1. The summer before school starts. And then it goes into season 1. You may continue into season 2 when it comes out if you'd like.

- You can cast Saige's friends. There needs to be at least 3 friends!

- During the summer, Maddy develops at crush on Saige and starts to figure out her sexuality. So ITS A  SLOW BURN!!

- Along the way, Maddy grows closer to her grandmother as well because she could tell Maddy was enjoying herself a lot more.

- When you get to season 1, make a love triangle or at least some drama between Saige, Maddy, and Nate. (But ofc Saige and Maddy will end up together)

- Saige and Jules = Besties
