Blair Ortega was a mess. She was only 15, and yet she felt like she wasn't going anywhere. She didn't have any friends, they all dropped her when a her ex started a rumor about her, and she didn't have the best home life. Her mom and dad left her with her Aunt Maggie who did her best, but she was never home because she had to work so much. Blair felt like she had hit a dead end.

Until she met Emily.

Blair had run into Emily when she was walking home one day, and that's when the two started a friendship. They started hanging out everyday, hiding out in the school restrooms when they didn't want to go to class, and sleeping over at each other's houses. Blair started to feel happy again. Like she had something to live for. Emily was her happy place. She just hoped nothing would take her away.

NOTES

- Blair smokes. It's a bad habit she picked up when she was at her lowest. But she stops when Emily tells her she wants her to because she felt like she owed Emily that for bringing her out of her slump.
