Nandini got married few hours ago with a complete unknown person. The alliance was fixed before a month. In this one month neither the boy came to meet her nor she was interested in him.
Now she is sitting in his room only. But there was no trace of the person she got married. So, she drowned back in the memory lane.
Flashback
Nandini was 2nd year student in college when when she got a friend request from a person named Aarav. She accepted the request.
One day Aarav sent him a message.
Hi...
Hello...
How are you?
Fine and you?
Am also good...
Like this their conversation went on. At first Nandini used to ignore him. Not give him much priority. But after talking to him for sometime, she also got attracted towards him.
Aarav used to care for her a lot. They also exchanged their numbers as well as photos.
Whenever they got any free time they used to talk on phone.
Nandini one day realized that she was in love with Aarav.
But....
She remembered that Aarav always used to say that he doesn't want to be in any relationship. He will do everything that a boyfriend girlfriend does with his wife.
So, she didn't tell him anything.
She was afraid to loose his friendship...
One day they were talking suddenly Aarav told, "Nandini, I think I am in love."
Nandini's heart broke but she didn't let him understand that. She composed herself and told him, "Really!!! Who's the girl?"
"There's a girl named Mannat and I have fallen in love with her," Aarav replied and his tone was sounding so happy.
"Then what about your plan of being in a relationship with your wife?" Nandini asked.
"I wanted that but I didn't get to know when I fall in love with her," he replied clearing her confusion.
"Have you told her?"
"No but I was thinking to tell her soon," Aarav replied excitedly.
"Aarav I have some work. I will talk to you later," saying this Nandini hurriedly cut the call as she can't take this anymore.
That night Nandini cried a lot. She couldn't sleep whole night.
After that day Nandini realized Aarav has changed. Before he used to call her every now and then but now he never called her nor picked up her call all the time. Nandini used to message him then he used to reply in one or two word.
Later Nandini left messaging or calling him. She totally engrossed herself in her study.
One day her mother told her about this alliance and she agreed without thinking or asking anything saying whatever they think is good for her, she will do that.
Nandini wanted a simple marriage not much chaos or people around. So it was a private affair.
Only a few people from the groom side attended the marriage ceremony. But there also she couldn't see him.
She only knows his name.
Manik Malhotra.
end of Flashback
Nandini was thinking about her life when she got up and stood in front of the huge glass wall facing the sea.
Suddenly she felt someone's presence behind her. She was so busy in her thought that she didn't hear when the door opened and her husband came in.
She was feeling uneasy with the thought of sharing a room with an unknown person.
"Are you sad?" Nandini heard Manik saying but she didn't turn back.
"Are you in silent mode today," He again asked. Nandini realized this tone is so familiar to her but how is this possible.
She turned back only to find Aarav standing there with his all time famous smirk.
Nandini was shocked...
"What are you doing here?" Nandini asked as he was the last person she was expecting there.
"Why won't I come to this room. This is my room," Manik said still smirking.
"What do you mean by your room?" Nandini was hell confused hearing him. Wasn't this supposed to be her husband's room?
By any chance does it mean.......
No!!!
No!!!
No!!!
How can it be possible???
Aarav loves someone else....
"Yes, my room," he replied making her more confused as well as shocked.
"But this is my husband's room," Nandini tried to reason.
"Yes, so?" Aarav said as if that's nothing important.
"My husband's name is Manik Malhotra and you are toh..." Nandini was about to say something but he cut her at the middle.
"My family members call me Aarav and my official name is Manik Malhotra. That's why your family members don't know about this name," finally Aarav told her the fact that he is Manik only.
"Why did you marry me? Where is your Mannat?" Nandini asked now being angry as she was really pissed with his previous behavior. She was hurt as well.
"Mannat means wish and you are my wish. I have loved you always that's why I married you," Manik told her about his feelings making her shock.
She was not able to believe her ears....
Manik aka her Aarav loves her!!!
"Then why did you avoid me?" Nandini wanted answers for all her questions in which Manik was more than ready to answer them.
"You were my distraction. I wanted to marry you but for that I need to be established first. I knew if I will keep contact with you, I won't be able to concentrate on anything else. So, I had to that," Manik finally completed telling her his part of the story.
"I love you too," Nandini was so overwhelmed that's she couldn't say anything more and tears started falling from her eyes.
Seeing her crying Manik panicked.
" Don't cry Nandini. I am not that strong to bear your tears," Manik said wiping her tears.
In response Nandini hugged him tightly. Manik also hugged her back.
There was a sweet smile playing on both of their faces.
Finally their were in peace.
They found their true love.
They were each other's solace.
Their arms were heaven for each other.
They couldn't want anything more God.
Now they are together starting a new journey which is HAMESHA .
