Hey, lovelies, here I am back with one more os. I know my other stories are pending and here I am posting new story. But trust me they are almost ready. I will update them soon. Till then enjoy it.

Nandini is sitting on the staircase. Her cheeks are puffed which clearly indicates that she is pissed off and the reason is her best friend Manik.

When Nandini came to college, she saw Manik talking with some other girl. They were laughing about something. Seeing them together, Nandini burnt with jealousy. After the girl left from there, Nandini went to Manik, "Who was the girl?"

"Which girl?"

"Don't pretend. The one with whom you were talking and laughing a few seconds ago."

"Oh Alya."

"Her name is Alya?"

"Yes. Very sweet girl. Her name is also very sweet."

"Hmm." Nandini became a little sad hearing him praising some other girl.

"Leave it. Why did you come here?"

Nandini felt bad with Manik's words. Now she can't come to her best friend without any reason? Then how can he be her best friend. She didn't say anything and left from there quietly. Manik chuckled in mind seeing her going away like that.

"Ahhhh. I went a little over board today. I shouldn't have done that. Nandini is so angry. Now what will I do?" - Manik thought in mind.

Nandini was feeling like crying. She had planned so much that they will have fun whole day. But Manik is busy with someone else. He doesn't even want to talk to her.

"I won't go to him anymore. I won't even talk to him. Let him be with his Alya or someone else. Let him do whatever he wants to." - Nandini thought in mind.

Nandini's trance broke when Manik sat beside her and fake coughed to grab her attention. Nandini looked at Manik, then turned her face to other side.

M: Mood off hein?

Nandini didn't reply.

M: Why aren't you talking?

N: Leave it. I'm not feeling like.

M: You know right sometimes I do this intentionally to tease you. Then you keep sitting like this puffing your cheeks. That time I feel like pulling them. Please let me pull them.

N (angrily): Don't you dare. If you even try to touch me, I will complaint to police against you.

Inspired of being scared, Manik laughed out loud. Nandini getting more pissed with his laughter. She pushed him and he fell down. Nandini got up from her place, "I am going home. Don't even think of coming behind me, calling me or texting me. Else I will beat you so much that you won't be able to walk in your whole life."

M: Really?

N: Ufff....

Manik got up and started going behind Nandini. He was calling him from back but she didn't pay any heed. Suddenly she turned back and told, "Bhaiya, why are you disturbing me?"

Manik didn't even think that Nandini will react like this..

M (shocked): Did you just call me bhaiya?

N (sarcastically): Yes. Go from here else next time I will call you uncle.

M: Are you out of your mind?

N: No, bhaiya.

M: Stop calling me that.

N: Then should I call you uncle?

M: Don't call me any of it.

N: Why?

M: I am saying that's why.

N: Okay, bhaiya.

Nandini left from there. Manik knew this time Nandini is hell pissed off. Manik went and stood in front of Nandini holding his ears, "Sorry. I won't do this again."

"Why are you sorry?"

"I hurt you."

"When was I hurt?"

"I know you are hurt."

"Move. I will go home."

Nandini started leaving.

M: Nandini, wait.

N: What?

M: Please don't be angry on me.

N: Why? Do you understand me?

M: I did that intentionally.

N: Why will you do that? You know I can't take it. I feel like crying.

M: Leave it, please. I'm sorry.

N: How will you feel, if I go away now?

M: I will also come with you. Then I will feel good.

N: Stupid, idiot, monster, monkey...

M: Okay okay you don't need to say more.

N: I won't say anything to you. Who are you?

M: I'm your that.

N: What?

M: That.

Nandini glared at him. Manik held her hand and pulled her aside, "Leave all this. Tomorrow you are coming home."

N: Why?

M: It's Navya's (Manik's sister) marriage. Functions will be starting from tomorrow.

N: You are staying this to me now.

M: Yes, it was surprise.

They continued their bickering for some more time, then left for their place.

Next day it was Navya's haldi. While house was decorated beautifully. Manik was wearing a kurta pajama.

Manik was looking after the arrangements. Nandini came from back and hit slightly on his head. Manik looked at her from top to bottom.

M: It feels like today is your haldi.

N: Why?

M: You are looking so beautiful.

(Nandini's attire)

Before they could speak more, Navya came there and hugged Nandini.

Nav: Nandini di, when did you come? You are looking so pretty.

N: Thanks, Navya. You are also looking beautiful.

Nav: You come with me.

N: Bye, monkey.

Nandini left from there with Navya leaving Manik behind. Manik smiled slightly and went back to his work.

Haldi ceremony got over with a lot of fun. Mehendi and sangeet too passed quickly. It was day of Navya's marriage.

Manik and Nandini didn't get to talk with each other much. Manik being only brother of Navya was busy with the arrangements whereas Nandini was busy in helping Navya.

Nandini got ready and came down to look for Manik. Don't know why she was feeling like seeing Manik. Her eyes fell on Manik who was welcoming the guests. He was looking damn handsome in that sherwani.

Nandini wanted to go to Manik and stand with him. But she can't. Their eyes met. They both passed a smile to each other. Manik called Nandini to him. Nandini started going close to him. For some unknown reason she was feeling different while going close to Manik. She went and stood in front of Manik.

M: I never knew angles live on earth.

N (confused): What?

M: You are looking like an angle. I am shocked. You are........

Manik didn't say anything. Actually he couldn't. He looked down biting his lower lips.

N: I am?

M: You are beautiful. More beautiful than my imagination.

N: I have a place in your imagination? There are so many people.

M (lovingly): There's only you.

N: Stop kidding.

M: I'm not. Wear your bindi properly.

N: Make me wear it properly.

Manik didn't know what to do. He looked around. There was a lot of people. Nandini was just looking at him. He came close to Nandini. He touched her bindi. Nandini shivered with his touch. Manik fixed Nandini's bindi when someone clicked their picture and asked, "When are you two getting married?"

"What?" Manik and Nandini both shouted in shock.

"You gave her bindi today, when are you planning to tie the knot?"

The boy left from there. Manik turned towards Nandini who was looking down. Her whole face was red. She was blushing. With slow steps Nandini left from there. Manik was looking at her going figure. The feelings which were suppressed in their heart were coming out.

It was late night. Navya's marriage is completed. She was gone. Manik was standing alone at the terrace. He was missing Navya. Nandini came from back and placed her hand on his shoulder.

N: You know we, girls can't do a lot of thing which we wish for. Navya wanted to stay with you all but she has to leave.

M: Navya will be fine, right?

N: Of course, she will be. She will be very happy.

M: I am missing her so much.

N: One day I will also go away. Will you miss me?

M (shocked): Where will you go?

N: Like Navya I will also have to go one day. Someone will take me with him.

Manik was numb. It was true. He felt like holding her hand and saying, "Don't go away leaving me. I have no one apart from you. Please be with me."

Nandini broke the silence and told, "Manik, I don't feel good."

M: Why?

N: Can't you keep me with you? Can't you just give me a little right with love on you?

Manik held Nandini's hand and looked at the sky, "Look at these two stars. They are always together. They never go away from each other. The star on the right is me and the one at the left is you."

Nandini didn't say anything. She has got her answer. She held Manik's hand more tightly and kept her hand on his shoulder. They was a peace in the silence which was their love.
