VIOLET AND MIGUEL WERE IN HIS HOUSE, talking about each other's problems, lifting a huge weight off their chests.

"So, do you really think he is the one, even you were so in love with him at the dance?" Miguel was talking about if Violet's feelings were genuine.

"To be honest, I don't really think there is anything there, but at the same time, I don't know. I really feel like after being apart for so long, we missed a lot of our lives."

Violet really thought about how Robby was not really her type, but she has never had this kind of affection from anyone else, besides Hawk for those short three days.

"You should tell him before it's too late, you know? Like sooner before you lead him on just like how Hawk led you on too." Violet nodded her head, knowing Miguel had a point. She didn't want to turn out like Hawk.

"Yeah, yeah you're right. I should do it soon. What should I say though?"

"How about 'Hey I don't like you. Bye.'

Violet playfully glared at Miguel's sarcastic response.

"No, but maybe say something like ' I don't want to lead you on so I'm going to say this now.' Be honest with him and don't make him misunderstand you."

Violet was nodding her head, agreeing with Miguel.

"Okay, okay, when I see him at school tomorrow, I'm just going to tell him that I only want to be friends and nothing else."

Violet was standing next to her lockers, anxiously waiting for Robby to arrive at school. She had her whole speech prepared.

"Oh my god, I can't do this. I can't hurt him." Violet thought to herself, knowing how Robby is such a sweet and honest kid.

As Violet was scrolling through her phone, she felt someone grab her waist from behind, catching her off guard.

"Hey, cutie." Violet turned around to see Robby there with flowers in his hands.

Definitely not a good time especially since Violet was going to tell him something he didn't want to hear.

"Aww, um, Robby why did you get me flowers? I mean thank you, but it's so sudden."

"Well, I just thought I should do something nice for a beautiful girl like you." Violet's heart couldn't help but flutter at Robby's words.

"That's so sweet of you Robby."

"Hey, um, I have to ask you something."

"Yeah, I do too," Violet said nervously. She was not sure how Robby would react and she wanted to let him down the nicest way possible.

"Okay, I'll go first. Violet, the reason I moved here, to this school, is because I wanted to have a new and fresh start to my life. I did some things that I really regret, so I wanted to have a clean slate. When I saw you in the hallways that day, I knew my life was going to be good. You are literally my lucky charm Violet Ocean."

Violet couldn't stop smiling at Robby. She knew she was supposed to let him down, but at this point, she was starting to fall for him.

"Violet, will you be my girlfriend?"

Violet froze at Robby's words, wondering if she heard that correctly. All of this time, Violet thought Hawk was the one she wanted, but now, she knew the man she wanted was standing right in front of her. So, Violet said the words she thought would never leave her mouth.

"Robert Swayze Keene. Of course, I will be your girlfriend.

Robby smiled brightly and swooped Violet from her feet, hugging her tightly. He then kissed Violet which caught her off guard.

When the pair pulled away, they both smiled at each other.

"Wow, I didn't expect that to happen."

Violet was smiling and was dancing in her room with joyful vibes. Violet thought of the 'good' decision she made earlier today.

Her phone started to vibrate and she looked over to her phone on her stand to see that Miguel was calling.

She swiped the green button and put her phone on speaker.

"Hey, Miggy, what's up?"

"Hey Vi, I just wanted to know what happened today. How did Robby take it? Are you guys still friends? Do I have to beat his ass for you?" Miguel started to bombard Violet with questions

"Well, something definitely happened." Violet was nervous to see how Miguel would react to her and Robby dating.

"Well, what happened?"

"Heaskedmeoutandisaidyes," Violet said quickly.

"What? Vi, I didn't understand you. You're talking to fast."

Violet took in a deep breath before speaking again.
"He asked me out and I said yes."

The silence between the friends explained Miguel's reaction. She just knew his mouth was hanging open right now.

"Miguel say something please?"

"Well.....definitely didn't expect that. Well.. are you happy at least?"

"Yes, I really am Miguel. Like it was so last minute but at the same time, it felt right you know?"

"Well, as long as you're happy, then I'm happy. I just don't want you to get hurt, so if something happens, do NOT hesitate to go to me okay?"

Violet smiled on her end of the phone. "Okay thank you, Miguel, I love you."

"Love you too, Vi."

Call ended at 8:43 pm

mmmm that last-minute decision tho smhhh. besties, if everything goes good, i might adopt a cat this Saturday eeeppp omg i really hope we can ahh.
