"Orpheus! You shall be banished from hell, and sent to the mortal realm!" Yelled the King of Hell, Lucifer; crimsom eyes burning with flames of fury and wrath.

"B-but My Lord I-" The demon tried to stand up for himself, shoulders shivering with terror and anguish.

Mavros, that little demon...how dare he betray me like this?

"You have failed to perform your duty as the carrier of sinners to the judgement court! How dare you release a Sinner and let Hael take him!!" The enraged Lord stood up from his throne, pacing towards the cowering demon; grasping him by his throat, making the other choke.

"You need to bring back that soul to hell. Remember, it's either you or him who will be punished." Lucifer replied, throwing Orpheus to the obsidian black floor, the hardness making his skin burn with rash, while his brother just watched everything from the side with satisfaction.

"Y-yes My Lord, as you wish. I will bring Kang Taehyun's soul to the court, and his soul shall be punished accordingly." The demon coughed up his words, lowering his head infront of his superior, as he got up from the floor, not forgetting to cast a glare to the grinning demon standing aside and watching everything unfold, proud that his wish came true.

The wish to destroy him.

"Very well. Now you're banished from your position! You'll be summoned to Earth through the first human who summons a demon, and fulfill your duty on the mortal land." The Lord announced, and Yeonjun was sent to Prison, until a human summons him so he could perform his task.

❝ ✉️ ❞ ୭ ˚. ᵎᵎ

"I can't believe Mavros did this to you my Lord." Verena scowled as she sat beside her Superior, cursing the very name of the demon who was the reason of her Superior's imprisonment.

"You know how he is Vere... I'm not even surprised." Orpheus sighed, drinking up the bitterness in his heart. That's what being a demon was.

Unlike angels or humans, who stayed loyal and trustworthy to their family and loved ones, demons didn't possess that quality. The only emotions they could feel were Wrath, fury, hatred and Pride. Happiness at some point.

But kindness, sadness, agony and Love? These were unknown to them. If any demom ever shed a tear, or fell in love, they'd be punished, or worse; killed.

So, it wasn't a surprise Mavros jeopardized his work and betrayed him for his own sucess. That's what a Demon's nature was afterall.

"But still... I'm furious that you'll have to live along filthy humans after this." Verena protested with a frown, wanting revenge for her Superior.

"Yeah humans...the thought still makes my skin crawl. It's a shame most of my powers are gone." He groaned in annoyance.

"It's okay My Lord, I'm sure you'll be able to find Kang Taehyun and take his soul! He's just a mere weak human afterall." Verena tried to reassure him, so he won't be too sullen over it, though the situation was looking pretty bad right now, because it had been some days already but no human from the area near Kang Taehyun was trying to Summon a Demon.

"Are all humans happy and pure or what? Usually there are so many summonings, what happened?" Orpheus grunted in displeasure, closing his eyes as he felt the cold floor of the cell around his body.

He was getting impatient.

"Don't worry my Lord I'm sure some human would summon you very soo-"

Just as Verena was trying to speak more, a portal opened for Orpheus inside the cell, glowing deep red and black showing the silhouette of the human who was trying to summon him.

The sight made Verena perk up, and a devilish smirk appear on Yeonjun's lips.

"Now whoever this human is, their wish better be easy. I need time to act on my task."
