Juniper stared at George a good five minutes after he popped the question to her. The pair were sitting in a broom closet together, Juniper making mugs for everyone for christmas. Umbridge had forbidden her to go to the pottery room, resulting in Fred stealing things for her and George finding her the empty broom closet, "June, did you hear me?"

"Did Sirius ask your mom if that's okay?" Juniper asked, blinking quickly, "I know she doesn't like me much."

George reddening slightly in embarrassment, "He's your family, you should spend christmas with your family."

"But your family." Juniper went back at him with a knowing look, "Charlie and Bill? Your father? I don't want to ruin this for you."

"You couldn't ruin christmas even if you tried." George had to laugh as he stared over at her, "It'll be loads of fun. Sirius, Tonks, your aunt and uncle... you won't even notice mum."

Juniper looked down. George felt bad suddenly as he shook his head, "You don't have to, I just figured you want to spend it with them."

"I do, and you." Juniper spoke to him quickly, her eyes wide. George reddened as Juniper looked down at her clay covered hands, "Today would be mine and Cedrics one year together if he'd lived."

George really felt bad after that.

"We made it official right after you and I were in the pottery room, do you remember?" Juniper asked him. George nodded his head, staring at her in the small closet, "He asked me to the Yule Ball that same day. I tried to run but you made me go on, remember?"

George nodded his head again.

"It just feels wrong." Juniper said honestly, one tear left her eye, which she hadn't noticed. George did, he noticed the tears along with her sudden popping of the fingers, "Celebrating without him. And without my locket he gave me on christmas, I just don't think I want to do anything."

"You don't have to, June." George reassured her quickly, "I understand, i'm sorry for pushing."

"I do hope you have a happy christmas though, George." Juniper said with a sad smile his way, "With your family and mine."

George hated leaving Juniper at Hogwarts while he had sat in the cozy living room of her own families home. They'd been spending it at Grimmauld Palace this year, festive and joy filled laughter all through the large home. Harry had Sirius, Tonks was making Ginny laugh, Andromeda and Ted had engaged in a conversation with Hermione regarding school activities. It felt weird without her, it felt wrong.

"Aw, lighten up, Georgie." Fred said as he slapped his twin on the shoulders, "Juniper will come around eventually and will be all yours."

"Oh, shove off." George commented, "I feel bad just leaving her there, she should be here."

"She wanted to stay." Fred shrugged, clearly not understand. George huffed, opening his mouth to say something before a loud crash was heard. Molly screamed as Harry drew his wand. A small groan came from the top of the dinner table, the large turkey smooshed.

"What the bloody hell did I land on?" Juniper asked as she slowly sat up, looking down at the turkey, "Oh, I've done this before. At least it wasn't alive this time."

"June!" Tonks yelled, pulling her cousin off the table and hugging her tightly, "You passed apparition?"

"On my third try." Juniper nodded, hugging her aunt and uncle who kissed her on the head. Junipers eyes lit up at the sight of her oldest cousin, Sirius Black. She hadn't seen him in years, though she remembered so many memories of the pair, "Sirius!"

"Merlin, kid. You're two inches away from being as tall as me." Sirius said as he hugged the taller teen, "What happened to not coming?"

"Hogwarts gets cold all alone there." Juniper said honestly, putting a arm around Harry and pulling him into her side, "And I bought a new christmas sweater, see."

Juniper looked down at the green and red sweater she wore, "I almost got three for us."

"Thank merlin you didn't." Sirius said as he looked at each of them.

"George Fabian Weasley, you come here to me!" Molly hollered out loudly. Her face was red, holding her mittens tightly. George's eyes were wide, standing by the fire. Molly grabbed him by the ear, tugging him up the stairs quickly. Juniper bit the inside of her mouth as she looked around at the many set of eyes around her.

"Charlie." Juniper greeted with a nod of her head his way, "How's the dragons?"

"Well." Charlie said back to her, the awkward tension in the air from Molly's shouts from upstairs, "I read them your letters you send every month."

"How could you invite her?! Do you have any clue who your parents are?!"

Juniper cleared her throat, red in the face.

"Ugh, smooshed turkey?" Arthur spoke up in questioning with a clear of his throat.

"Don't have to tell me twice." Ron said quickly, digging in nearly immediately as Hermione made room for Juniper to sit next to him.

"I'm sorry I got you in trouble." Juniper said as she snuck into the living room, finally getting out of her conversation with her uncle, "I shouldn't have come."

"I'm glad you did." George said to her, a small grin on his face. He moved over and patted the small space next to him, "Sorry mom said all that stuff about you, i'm sure you heard."

"I get it." Juniper shrugged, "I'm sure Charlie's story at dinner about the time I tried to hang from a dragons tooth wasn't the best icebreaker."

George laughed as he leaned back on the cushions, "Would it be rude of me to say I expect nothing less?"

"It was a lot of fun up there." Juniper nodded, "Until I let go and nearly broke every bone I have."

"I-" George began before he was cut off.

"George." it was Molly, staring at the duo with wide eyes, "Help me in the kitchen?"

Juniper knew for a fact she heard the Weasley woman tell Ron he'd be the one to help her tonight.

George put a hand on Junipers shoulder before walking off with his mother.

"You talked to your mum any?" Sirius asked as Juniper leaned on his shoulder, Harry on his other side listening in.

"No." Juniper spoke up, "I did hear she escaped, have they found her?"

"They haven't." Sirius spoke up, patting her head slightly. Juniper looked over as Remus sat on her other side, giving her his fork.

"The rest is for you." he said, pushing the half eaten pie infront of her, "I don't recommend falling on top of this one."

Juniper cracked a grin as she stabbed the pie hard.

"You're a suck up, Moony." Sirius shook his head as he looked back at Juniper, "He wants the constellation mug."

"Who else would you give it to?" Remus begged her in the slightest, "How'd you make them all so fast?"

"George painted them for me." Junior grinned, "We stayed up rather late, Harry gave us his invisible cloak."

"June." Harry said quickly. Sirius laughed at his hope of not getting in trouble.

"Who's that remind you of?" Lupin asked Sirius with a laugh. George slid into the seat across from Juniper, watching her as she engaged in a conversation with Harry rather quick, the pair arguing over the invisible cloak.

Sirius nodded over toward George, his love struck eyes not going unnoticed by the pair, "And who's that remind you of?"

"Bill's favorite." Molly spoke with a smile as she walked back into the room, holding a pumpkin pie, "Just for you, darling."

Fred rolled his eyes in the slightest, making a comment under his breath.

"Fred, pass Bill the forks." Molly said as she snapped her fingers infront of George's face. Fred snorted slightly as George gave a look of disbelief, "Come on now, give it to him."

"That's George." Juniper spoke up. George's eyes went wide as he looked at her, Ron chocked on his food. Tonks hair turned back to its natural color as she stopped conversation with Ginny. Sirius gave a snort at Molly's gapping face, covering it with a cough.

The whole house was silent as Molly stared at Juniper, "Sorry?"

"That's George." Juniper repeated herself, "Your son you're calling Fred."

"I'm gonna show Juniper the drawing room." George panicked slightly as he began to stand.

"I believe I know my twins apart more then you-" Molly began as she looked back toward the twins. She stopped mid sentence when she noticed the twin that was standing had been George, the same one that she had called Fred.

"If you need to know a way to tell them apart I could help you, I do perfectly fine." Juniper offered. Andromeda's mouth dropped slightly as Junipers words, though you could tell she hadn't meant any harm by them.

"Oh, you know-" Molly began before George hurried around the table, taking Junipers arm and dragging her off.

"Woah, this is like the room I use to run circles in and pretend someone was murdering me." Juniper said as George lead her into his bedroom, "I would scream at the top of my lungs and then fight with the air until it stopped talking."

"It spoke to you?" George asked, sitting nervously at the end of his bed and rubbing his hands together.

"Yes, of course." Juniper said, stopping as she looked at him, "I'm sorry for what I said to your mum, I didn't mean it like it came out."

"I know you didn't." George nodded. He held his breath when she sat next to him, "Bill and Charlie think you're lovely, they told me so. And dad really likes the mug you made, the one of the muggle libraries."

Juniper smiled slightly, "Maybe I could apologize to your mum."

"Don't worry about her." George shook his head, reddening, "I'm glad you're here."

Juniper stared at him with a small smile, leaning across his bed to reach underneath and pull a small vase out, "I painted pumpkins on it just for you."

"A vase?" George asked her.

"Since we're both not doing well in herbology." Juniper grinned as George laughed, "Perhaps having our own will make it better."

"I'll have to go pick a few tomorrow." George smiled at her, leaning backwards and laying the vase on nightstand. As he came forward, he stopped when Juniper pushed him down onto the bed and pinned his arms above his head. George stare at her with wide eyes, red in the face as he blinked suddenly, "June?"

"Your brain is saying something." Juniper said, staring at the middle of his forehead, "What is it?"

"My brain isn't talking." George shook his head quickly, inhaling suddenly as she straddled his hips and leaning in closer to his forehead.

"It's speaking to me, like a whisper." Juniper confirmed, leaning in closer as she pressed her ear to his head, "You're keeping secrets from me."

"No, absolutely not." George shook his head, Juniper leaned up quickly, putting more pressure down on him. George held his breath, trying not to look at her, "June, I, um-"

"Brains don't lie." Juniper said as she stared down at him, "Why are you lying to me, Georgie?"

"I'm not lying." he said nervously as she touched his face, "I'm not lying."

Juniper grabbed his face softly with narrow eyes, "I can feel your heart, tell me."

"June, I swear." George tried again, "My heart feels like that because you're on top of me."

"Almost like-" Juniper began before the door swung open.

"George, do the two of you wanna-" Fred began, stopping as he stared with wide eyed. He didn't expect to see Juniper Lestrange sitting ontop of his twin, his face in one of her hands while she used the other to pin his hands above his head, "Well, this makes since."

"Fred won't lie to me." Juniper spoke as she got off the bed quickly, leaving George to finally take a breath, "Come on, Fred. You'll have to tell me everything George wants to be a liar about."
