Payton's pov

It's around 11:25 pm . Kayla is piecefully asleep in my arms , her hands around my waist .

She's an angel when she sleeps . No one looks this cute when they're sleeping !

I took the remote control to turn the tv off since I'm not watching it anymore .

Before Kayla fell asleep , we were watching "The Sandlot" .

We both love that movie !!

(I mean...who doesn't !? 😂 Shout out to any Sandlot fans out there)

She fell asleep when there was about 30 minutes left of the movie .

I sigh , my eyes were starting to feel heavy .

I leaned my head on Kayla's head and immediately fell asleep .

«The next day»

Kayla's pov

I slowly open my eyes .

I notice Payton isn't by my side any longer . He probably left and went back home , idk .

I got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen to see what I can make myself for breakfast .

When I got closer to the kitchen , It smelled like someone is cooking .

Is Payton still here ?

I walked in and saw Payton making pancakes and bacon .

Aw , he's so sweet ! 😌❤

He turned around to look at me , with a smile on his face .

"Well , good morning , Kayla" , he said with French accent .

And let me tell you , he's vv good at making accents . It's a gift , ig .

"Good morning to you too , Mr . Moormeier " , I said with a French accent too .

But obviously , mine isn't as good as his .

We both laugh at each other .

"You know that you didn't have to make breakfast , right ? I could've make it instead" , I said .
"Yeh , Ik . I wanted to be nice and I didn't want to wake you up", he blushed .

Omg , he's blushing !! ❤❤😂

"aha you're blushing " , I giggled .
He put his hands on his face , trying to hide .

"Ahh , stoppp !" , he laughed and groaned .

"Ok , ok ", I tried to stop laughing.

We both got a pancake and a slice of bacon , and sat down on the table to eat .

We were just talking about life and other stuff .

When we finished , we decided to invite the rest to come over just to hang out .

«Everyone arrives»

We all said hi to each other and did our handshake .

"So how have ya'll been ?" , Brittany said .

"Good ", we all answered .

We stayed inside my house the rest of the morning watching movies and Netflix series .

I looked at my phone to check the time .

It was 1:06 pm . I was shook . Were we really here for 6 hours ?
I was kinda hungry .

"Hey guys , should we go out and eat ? I'm kinda hungry " , I looked at everyone .

"Yeh , I'm hungry too " , Allison answered .

Everyone said they were hungry too .

"Let's go to Panda Express" , Chase suggested .

We all agreed to that .

We all got up , grabbed our stuff and left .

I was the last one to go out since I needed to get my keys and lock the door .

I saw everyone waiting for me . I hurried up and unlocked the door so everyone can go in the car .

«At Panda Express»

We all walked inside the place . It smelled like chicken and rice .

I love that smell !

We all ordered our food , payed for it and sat down at one of the tables .

I was about to finish my food , so were the others .

I hear the door open and the bell ring . Meaning someone walked in . I looked up and it was the same person I saw at IHOP .

Jackson...

Why is It always him ??

Why can't It be my mom or anyone else but Jackson ??

He looked at us . Mostly me .

I refused to make eye contact . Everyone was telling me to ignore him .

I couldn't .

I got up from my seat and walked out the place .

I hear Payton telling me to plz come back .

But I was already out .

«Payton's pov»

"Kayla , come ba-" , Chase stopped me from talking .

"Let her go " , he told me .

Everyone else told me to let her take a break .

Jackson looked back at Kayla . She was sitting at the bench outside the building .

He walked outside and followed .
"No , I have to go and see her "  , I said with a serious voice .

They all grabbed me from my arm .

"Payton , stop it ! I told Jackson to come " , Chase confessed .

"What ?! Why ? " , I yelled .

"Hey , chill . We wanted Kayla and Jackson to talk things out and to get along again " , Michael explained .

"Fine , I'll calm down " , my voice was softer .

Why would they do that ?

What if they start being friends and they start to develop feelings again ?

What if Jackson hurts her again ?

Will I loose Kayla , again ?...
