What am I doing? I shouldn't be locked inside my room, crying over a stupid girl.

I'm supposed to be outside with my friends. Enjoying life.

I wiped my tears and grabbed my phone to text Kayla.

Payton: Hey , Kayla

I layed my phone on my bed and waited for an answer.

15 minutes later...

Still no answer.

I decided to text her again. She's probably busy, maybe that's the reason why kayla can't see the text. I'll try to text her again.

Payton: Kayla , are you there ?
Payton: Hello ??
Payton: Stop scaring me
Payton: plz answer

Should I worry? I mean, I think I'm overreacting a little...Ig I'll wait.

Kayla's pov

Should I answer ? I got 5 text messages from Payton. I'll answer since he's probably freaking out.

Kayla : Hey...

13 seconds later 😂

Payton : Omg...you finally answer! Are you ok? Where are you?

Kayla : lmao , chill ! 💀 I'm at my house . Buttt , can you plz come over , I'm not really feeling good and I need my best friend here..

Payton : Yeh, sure! I'll be there asap❤

Kayla : Thanks!

I got on Spotify to listen to music. The first song that comes on is Get You The Moon by Kina. Wow, I just love getting in my feelings :')

I layed on my bed looking up at the cealing m.

Thinking about my
past relationship with Jackson.

Remembering the beautiful moments with him.

But, those are probably moments he never liked or enjoyed.

This song was mine and Jackson's favorite song. We LOVE it and we would listen to it together all the time. And ofc, get in our feelings.

Right when the song ended, I hear a knock on my window.

I turned my head around to see who it was. I couldn't see well so I got off my bed and open the curtains, It revealed Payton.

Oh god, he finally came.

He waved at me and gave be the cutest smile ever.
Ugh, I can't with this smile anymore!

I gave him a small smile, rolled my eyes playfully and opened the window for him. Payton climbed inside and closed the window after walking in.

He looked down to look at me since I'm pretty short and he's very tall 😂

We made eye contact without saying anything. I felt like we were the only ones standing on this planet. It felt like everything froze and everything on earth disappeared.

"Hey, what's wrong ?", he said with a low and sweet voice.

"H-He came b-back..", I stuttered. I get anxiety just by thinking and talking about him.

Payton didn't say anything. He just leaned closer to me and hugged me tight.

I felt safe in his arms. It was like he was protecting me from the world, so nothing bad happens to me.

I started crying a little. I just burried my head on his chest and cried.

He kept rubbing my back, that send shivers down my spine.

"Aw, don't cry. Everything will be ok ", he whispered at my ear.

Damn...idk what I did to decerve him. He's the best person I have in my life. Literally I would do anything to keep him close to me for the rest of my life.

We stood there for a while, until I finally pulled back about 6 minutes later.

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?", Payton asked.

God, he's so sweet and caring.

I looked up at him.

"Not really. Can you plz stay here for the rest of the day?", I said.

"Uh, yeh sure. I'll just text my mom I'll be staying here for the night"

"Ok , thank you sm"

He just smiled at me and went on his phone. It took him about a minute to finish up.

We just stayed at my room the whole day and relaxed. We watched some Netflix, YouTube and made some Tik Toks.

We both posted on Instagram as well.
