Before you start the story , I'm vvvv sorry for not updating for almost 2 weeks ! I was out of ideas and I didn't have time to write . I always have time but school is taking over my writing time . Don't worry , school ends on June 3rd for me, so I'll have lots of time to write during the summer .

Anyways , let's get to the story .

The peremetics turned to look at Kayla .

One of them grabbing a machine from behind him , holding 2 handles , and putting it on her chest .

(Lmao I forgot what that's called)

Payton's pov

I got the call from Chase . Idk how to get out of my house , I'm eating dinner with my mom and sister . Idk If my mom would let me go .

"Mom , I'm sorry I gotta go !" , I said , with no pacients .

"What ? Why , what's wrong ?"

"It's because Kayla got injured , and I need to go to the hospital . Chase just called me to come meet him there with the rest of our friends" . 

"Omg...yeh , you're excused"

"Payton ! Tell me what happens when you hear any news, ok ?" , my sister , Faith , said .

I nodded my head at her and ran out the door .

I walked out and looked at my car

I wanted to take it but I feel like it'll take longer....

Screw it ! I don't have time to deal with traffic .

I'm running to the hospital .

I ran as fast as I can to get there .

Trying not to waste time .

Kayla will be ok , right ? I mean , she's a strong and brave girl . I love her and I don't wanna loose her .

Yep , I said the word . Love . But not just as a friend or best friend, more than that .

Ik she doesn't feel the same , but I've never stopped loving her .

Idk what I'll do if she doesn't make it through...

I got to the hospital , out of breathe . I'm pretty sure I just ran 2 miles...I bent down a little , put my hands on my knees and tried to catch my breathe .

I finally looked up after a minute and ran inside . I looked around , anxious and scared .

Where the hell is Kayla ?

I ran to the lady in the front desk.
Her eyes went wide when I aproched to her .

"Hello , what's Kayla Hernandez's room ? Is she ok ? How long-"

"Wow , Mr , slow down...she's in the Emergency room right now" , the nice lady said with a sweet and calm voice .

Wdym slow down !? I need to know if my best friend is ok !

"Ok...but do you know anything ? Do you know if she'll be ok ?"

"I'm sorry , Idk anything" , she gave a soft smile .

Why tf is she smiling !??

I nodded at her and walked to the waiting room .

When I walked there , I saw Chase, Jackson , Brittany , Allison, Michael and Emily .

They were all standing in a big circle .

Chase's pov

I heard footsteps getting closer to me . I turned around and saw a tired , confused , anxious and sweaty Payton .

"Dude , what happened ?" Jackson blurred out , causing everyone to look at Payton .

"It doesn't matter rn...what happened ? Is Kayla ok ?"

I told Payton everything . When Kayla called me , when I got there etc .

(I really don't wanna write what happened in the other story💀 I'm vv lazy and I don't wanna make the chapter longer. If you guys forgot what happened , read chapter 13)

"She's gonna make it , right ?"

We all looked at each other , with sad looks on our faces .

"Guys , tell me what's going on !", Payton yelled out , louder .

"The doctor said t-that...there's a very sm-small percentage for her to survive" , Jackson said .

Payton's pov

"No...she is gonna survive"

"Payton , calm down-"

"I can't calm down ! She will survive . Yes , she hit her head causing it to bleed but she's strong and she'll make it !" , I turned around , trying not to cry.
Before I can take a step , the doctor came and looked at us .

"Do you guys know Kayla Hernandez ?" the doctor had a deep voice .

We all said yes at the same time .

"Well , she's ok , alright . You kids are lucky she survived cuz there was a 70% chance she wouldn't"

We were all releaved to hear these news .

"Can we go see her ?" I said .

"Yes , she just woke up . Be very gentle and pacient with her . The room is F104"

We thanked the doctor and walked away .

I started running instead . They yelled out my name to slow down and to stop making noise .

I don't care about how much racket I'm making .

I wanna see my best friend .

When I got to her door , I looked up .

I slowly put my hand on the doorknob .

I sighed before going in .

Then , I turned it over and I looked over at Kayla .

She was looking at me .

I speed walked over to her .

"Omg , thank god you're ok ! I was afraid I was gonna loose you", I grabbed her hand .

She looked down at our hands touching , and back at me .

She slowly pulled her hand from mine .

I looked at her nervously .

She was as confused as I was .

That's when everyone was in the room . They looked at Kayla , worried .

"I'm sorry...who are you ? And how do you know my name ?"
