I sat there watching them pull away...FINALLY . That kiss was probably 40 minutes long . I decided to hang out with the rest of my friends . They were sitting down eating pizza and candy.

"Hey , Kayla" , Allison had a loud and exciting voice .

Everyone else looked up at me and said hi .

"So...Payton with his girlfriend , huhh ?" , Michael gave a smirk while they all turned around to look at them , holding hands while roller blading .

Ugh , this sucks! I hate seing the guy I love with a girl that isn't me.

"Yeh...ik" , I rolled my eyes putting my head down to avoid eye contact with Payton and Isabella .

"Do you still like him ?" , Brittany stared at me to wait for an answer , everyone else looked at me .

"Uh-well...yeh . I still do" , I sigh in frustration not beliving what I said . I really can't get over him . They all stared at me , everyone was silent .

"Ik !! Don't say anything , I'll see you guys later . I'm gonna go back to the car" , they all asked me if I wanted them to come . I said no , obviously bc I didn't want to ruin their day because of me . They said bye to me and I walked away .

I put my usual shoes on and gave the roller blades to the man who gives the shoes .

I tried not to stare at Payton and Isabella .

I walked out the building and walked to the car . I sat there wanting to cry my eyes out . I just wanna lock myself somewhere and never come out . I started hitting the staring wheel , feeling my tears running out . I could make a lake here If I wanted to .

I got a notification . It was a message from Chase . He always texts me in the right time .

Chase: Heyyy !
Kayla: Hi Chase :))
Chase: Plz stop crying...
Kayla: Wait , huh ??
Chase: Look to your left . ❤

I wiped my tears and slowly looked to my left . Chase was standing right there . Next to his car, smiling at me , I smiled back and ran up to him . He put his hands around me and my legs around his waist . We've been talking for a month already and this is our first time seeing each other in person .

I started crying , but these aren't sad tears , these were happy tears . Because of me , Chase started crying . I giggled a little .

"Omg..don't cry !"

Chase put me down and wiped his tears with his sleaves .

"I'm just happy to finally see you"

"Me too"

"So , what's wrong ? why are you crying ?"

My smile faded slowly when I heard him say that .

"Oh-sorry . You don't have to-"

"No . I do"

I told him about the whole Payton thing since 3rd grade and everything going on right now .

"Oh , that's tuff . I'm sorry , why didn't you tell me about this earlier ?"

"Idk . I just don't know what to do . Idk what to feel about this"

"Look let's go somewhere to cheer you up . Tell Payton or your other friends that you went out with me and to call you to pick them up later"

I did what he said . I texted Allison about it and to plz tell everyone else . She asked me how is Chase here , I told her I'll explain later . Chase and I got in the car and drove away , smiling and excited to hang out together .
