While Chase was driving , we were listening to music and singing along .

"So , where do you wanna go ?"

"I don't really care...wherever you wanna go" , I answered . I'm still a little upset about what happened back at the Orbit place.

Chase reached for my hand .

"Hey , cheer up ! How about we go to Chick-Fil-A ? Ik that's your favorite fast food place . "

"Ok , let's go !! You know me so well " , I gave him a warm smile .

«skip to Chick-Fil-A»

"Kayla , you wanna go inside or go to the drive through?"

"Drive through , plz"

«After you got your food»

We parked in front of Chick-Fil-A so we can eat . We both ordered the same thing : a Chicken Sandwich, lemonade and waffle fries . Ofc we had to get the waffle fries :)) That's the best part !!

When we finished our food , we decided to go to Chase's house and chill there for the rest of the day . Well , actually , until Allison calls us to pick her and everyone up .

We sat on his couch and watched Netflix .

"Hey , let's binge watch Stranger Things . Since we both LOVE that show" , I said .

"Ugh , yesss !" , he answered with a huge smile .

I put my head on his shoulder and his head on mine . He also put his arm around me .

I felt safe in his arms .

We watched Netflix for about half an hour until I got a call from someone . I got my phone from my back pocket , it was Payton . 

"Who is it ?"

"It's Payton . I think he's calling so I can pick them up from the Orbit place ."

I answer the phone .

Kayla (you): Hello ?
Payton: Hey , are you busy ?
Kayla: No , why ?
Payton: Can you plz pick me and everyone else from the Orbit place ?
Kayla: Yeh , sure . I'll be there in about 10 minutes .
Payton: Ok , bye .

"You need to go pick them up?" Chase looked at me .

"Yeh...sorry"

"No , it's fine . Want me to drive you there ? "

"Yeh , sure "

«At the Orbit parking lot »

Chase and I spotted them outside the entrance . They all saw us and started to walk to our direction . When Payton saw Chase , he had a huge smile on his face , Chase got out the car and walked up to him , they did their hand shake and hugged .

I introduced Chase to all my friends since they haven't met him yet . I saw Chase and Brittany smiling at each other . I looked back and forth at them . I whispered on his ear ,

"Ok , Chase...I see what you're doing..." , I smirked at him .

He just blushed .

"Shut up"

I just laughed . Brittany was just twirling her hair around her finger .

Michael faked coughed so the awkward silence ends .

"So...uh , let's hit the road !" , he said .

We all got on the car , ofc , Emily and Michael in the front , Brittany and Allison in the middle , and the back was Payton, Chase and I . I was sitting in the middle .

We all decided to go to Emily's house and have a sleepover since she's the one with the big house . Like usual , everyone had their conversation with each other except for Payton , Chase and I .

I put my head on Chase's shoulder and we took each others phone hacking them , such as Snapchat , Tik Tok and Instagram . Payton was quiet the whole time. He looked mad or upset . I looked at him with a concerned look on my face .

"Hey , you good ?"

He turned around and looked at me .

"Uh , yeh . I'm fine"

"If there's something bothering you , you can tell us" , Chase said.

"I'm fine...just leave me alone , plz ", he tried to be calm as possible .
