HERE I AM THE SAME OLD SITUATION OF STRUGGLING WHEN A BOOK ENDS

so obviously moonlight didn't end up the way most of us were thinking because will was confirmed gay, but like I said in midnight's author's note, mackenzie will support him no matter what.

OH GOD I HOPE I WROTE THE COMING OUT SCENE OKAY IF I DIDN'T PLEASE TELL ME I'VE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE

I just want them to be thrive and be happy in their universe as platonic soulmates tbh

even though this book doesn't have a love interest anymore, I just knew I couldn't let mackenzie go. she's the second oc that's been with me the longest, literally since may 2020. it took like five hundred years for stranger things four to come out but I was so happy to write her again :)

my writing has definitely matured a lot since midnight and I think I wrote about mackenzie a little better.

I believe stranger things 5 is coming out in 2024 (please fact check me, that could be totally wrong.) I don't know if I'll even be on this app by then considering it's two years in the future, but if I AM, I'll for sure write a third book. I'm thinking about the title night changes. I think it fits. however, until then, it'll stay a duology.

it's been an absolute honor to write this book <3 and to mackenzie, my girl, I'll love you forever. never change babe.

also if will dies in stranger things 5 and I have to write mackenzie's reaction to it I will SCREAM
