MARY ELIZABETH CORY; thought that love was never meant to come by. Growing up in such a prestigious and reputable household during the 18th century, where women were solely raised to be a wife, a woman of the house, and breeding stock for their husbands-arranged marriages are irritatingly common. One can only hope for a love match.
She never thought of falling in love, not in her lifetime anyway, being taken in by the Volturi after being transitioned by a vampire by none other than Aro Volturi himself after being brutally murdered by her arranged fiancΓ©e in 1734 because he thought that the Lady Mary Elizabeth Cory was never meant for marriage because of her somewhat rebellious and sarcastic personality-and that men often avoided her blazing gaze!
Immortality comes with horrible consequences, and vampirism also offered Elizabeth a gift-an ability, Fear Inducement. As Elizar explained that her ability digs the deepest fears of a person and makes them relive them until they are begging for mercy!
Oh, the irony of it all because Elizabeth Cory calls herself a coward-she didn't dare to leave her household when she was human, and now that she's in the Volturi's care, she couldn't seem to leave the life they offered her, the luxury and the questionable lifestyle. But being in the Volturi also meant following the rules-their orders.
So when Elizabeth was sent to eliminate a threat in the South of America, it wasn't her intention to bump into a nomad vampire named Garrett in the 1840's nor was it in her best interest to, unfortunately, create an unlikely friendship with the irritatingly attractive man who hates the British!
And it all started with one accidental meeting, then came the second, the third, and the fourth, and so on! Suddenly, Elizabeth didn't arrive in their destined hiding place, and Garrett never knew why-and he was left with unanswered questions.
Until Irina came to Volterra with the news of an Immortal child in the Olympic Coven-the Cullens, and with whispers that Garrett would be one of their witnesses, Elizabeth Cory couldn't help herself to meet Garrett again, this time it wasn't so accidental.

-this story will contain two acts or two parts:
First: Pre Breaking Dawn (Her human life, life with the Volturi, and secret meetings with Garrett) And I was thinking that the last chapter will be where she didn't meet Garrett anymore.
Second: Will be Breaking Dawn part 2(where Irina tells the three kings that the Cullens have an immortal child until the battle.)
- A romance plot!
-Elizabeth was quite old during the 18th century to be married, 34 years old, so she was forced to be married yet she couldn't do anything because even though she was rebellious at the time, she still has her own fears of not making it out on her own.
-Elizabeth, as I have indicated in the chapter, has a very pessimist, snarky, and sarcastic attitude and that attitude will go well with Garrett's optimistic, adventurous, happy-go-lucky attitude.
-Elizabeth is afraid of change, so when Garrett asks her to leave the Volturi and be with him, she has this strange feeling of like, leaving the strange comfort of the Volturi-because the Volturi had given her everything, and she's scared of losing that. That's why she left Garrett so suddenly.
-In their first meeting, Elizabeth is very, umm, rude, but Garrett being Garrett he was able to keep up with Elizabeth's attitude. And Garrett does his best to make Elizabeth laugh during their meetings.
First Meeting: 1840's-
Choose any following decade/century for their next meetings, you can decide how much they meet. Make sure to really develop their longing for each other, so Elizabeth leaving is painful but make sure there's a large gap on their reuniting. I recommend their last meeting will be in the 1950s.
-why Clandestine meetings? Because Elizabeth knows if Aro and Caius knew that she was meeting Garrett and has thoughts of leaving, they will kill Garrett, also one of the reasons why Elizabeth stopped meeting Garrett.
-Aro couldn't read Elizabeth's thoughts with a touch because, secretly, Aro is scared of her gift, and Elizabeth's gift can be triggered with a touch, or if she just wants to scare the shit off people.
-Elizabeth will betray the Volturi in exchange for being reunited with Garrett. So she goes to Forks to warn them but of course, the witnesses are all weary except for Benjamin (who is vv curious-forms a friendship with Elizabeth). Elizar and Carlisle, who Elizabeth spent time with the Volturi, you can also add them in the First Act and Elizabeth's relationship with them etc.
-Garrett won't easily forgive Elizabeth for leaving him! It'll take a few chapters for them to rekindle the relationship they once had.
-THIS IS A HAPPY ENDING. Non negotiable, my baby Elizabeth has gone through hell already.
-In the chapters of the Volturi, if you need ideas of what life is in the Volturi, please do read my Rosalie Hale fic (Shameless plug) because my OC was a Volturi member. And if you want an alternate ending, you can kill off the three kings, lmao. So that Elizabeth won't have any problems with her betraying them-again, shameless plug, read my Emmett Cullen book and how I wrote the ending of Breaking Dawn 2.
