"You five have been chosen to go to a different school, in Auradon."

Immediately Evie, Carlos and Jay tried to escape but turned around only to bump into Maleficent's three bodyguards and groaned when they were put back on the ground.

Malvin just stood there, processing the information his mom had disclosed while Mal said, "What?"

"I'm not going to some boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!" 

Unlike his twin, Malvin actually thought about the bigger picture. Knowing his mom a little too well, he could tell that she had something in mind. She wouldn't just let her children go to some preppy school without cooking up an evil plan. Especially if the school was in Auradon.

"And perfect princes." Evie's comment was met with weirded out stares from the others, "Ugh!" Mal expressed her distaste as well.

"Yeah, and I don't do uniforms. Unless it's leather. You feel me?" Jay said. Malvin looked at the villainess and saw that she was getting agitated by the second before he heard Carlos chime in, "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave."

Jay barked near Carlos' ear and spooked him as Mal opened her mouth again, "Yeah, Mom, we're not going."

Malvin finally decided to say something, "Come on, guys, I think there's more to this. Right, mom?"

"Absolutely on point, my evil genius." Maleficent said before ruffling the boy's dark purple hair affectionately as Mal looked at the gesture with envious eyes resulting in Malvin smirking at her. It was not admitted out loud by Maleficent but she favored her son over her daughter and it was a very obvious fact. It was one of the main reasons as to why the twins never even tried to bond.

In the end, only one of them would make their mother proud.

"You're thinking small, pumpkin. Take some notes from your brother." Maleficent told her daughter, "It's all about world domination!" She stated before ordering her minions to pick up the three VKs behind Mal and Malvin before heading to their house.

Bargain Castle

The bargain castle was the place that the Maleficents lived in. The bottom 2 levels served as a shop that sold enchanter robes and pointed hats (It was Maleficent's idea), while the top floor served as living quarters for Mal, Malvin and Maleficent. 

It was where the villains had gathered on the demand (not request) of Maleficent. 

"You will go. You will find the Fairy Godmother and you will bring me back her magic wand." Maleficent declared coolly as she sat on her 'throne'-like chair, concentrating on filing her green and purple painted long nails.

"Easy-peasy." She looked up and winked, "What's in it for us?" Mal asked as Malvin scoffed, "What's in it for us, she says!" and mocked her.

Maleficent snorted a bit as she pointed at her son, "Good one," making him smile a bit.

"Matching thrones. Hers-and-his crowns."

"I think she meant us." Carlos said.

The villainous threw her nail filer to the ground as it made a clattering sound, mentioning her kids to come closer to the railing that stood between them, "It's all about us, baby!" 

"Do you enjoy watching innocent people suffer?"

"Goes without saying."   "Well, yeah, I mean, who doesn't..." Malvin and Mal responded respectively, "Well, then get me the wand and we can see all that and so much more. And with that wand and my scepter, I will be able to bend both good and evil to my will!"

"See, big picture. Told ya." Malvin smirked while crossing his arms before the Evil Queen corrected his mother, "Our will."

"Our will, our will."

A snap caught the attention of the twins who were looking at Evie's mother previously, "I know that Malvin agrees with me, he's always been the more intelligent one." Said son smirked cockily as Mal, annoyed by her brother's antiques, chose  to focus solely on her mother.

"But if you refuse, you're grounded for the rest of your life, missy."

"What...Mom..." Maleficent made a 'zip it' sign with her hand as she stared at her daughter with glowing green eyes, daring both her children to do the same and hold the glow in their eyes longer than her. It was how they decided on most of the things. Almost always did Maleficent win in this little game. On rare occasions Malvin would win too.

While Mal and Maleficent had their eyes glowing with the color green Malvin's eyes glowed a dark mix of blue and purple.

Malvin and Mal let out grunts of defeat after they closed their eyes and the glow in their eyes was gone. "Fine. Whatever."

"I win."

Evie was called by her mother, "Evie. My little Evil-ette in training. You just find yourself a prince with a big castle and a mother-in-law wing."

Out of all the VKs it was safe to say that Evie was the most lucky in the parent's love department. It wasn't much but her mother usually cared about her daughter (she cared enough to teach Evie make-up)...except for the times when she was busy caring for herself. 

"And lots and lots of mirrors." Both the mother and daughter duo chorused with wide and dreamy smiles on their faces, "No laughing. Wrinkles."

"Well, they're not taking my Carlos, because I'd miss him too much." Cruella De Vil said as she caressed her son's hair, "Really, Mom?" Carlos asked with eyes holding hope and a hint of happiness. 

Malvin internally grimaced as he knew what was coming next.

"Yes. Who would touch up my roots? Fluff my fur and scrape the bunions off my feet?" Cruella lifted her leg and rested it on Carlos' hands as the latter sighed in disappointment and muttered, "Yeah, maybe a new school wouldn't be the worst thing."

"Carlos, they have dogs in Auradon."

"No! I'm not going!" Carlos immediately declared after listening to his mother's words.

"Well, Jay isn't going either." Jafar; Jay's dad, said, "I need him to stock the shelves in my store."

He pulled his son to the side and asked in a hushed voice, "What did you score?" Jay started pulling out stuff from weird places and handed it all to his dad. He took out a lamp at the end as his father dropped everything else and gasped, "A lamp."

Maleficent and Malvin rolled their eyes.

"Dad, I already tried." Jay told Jafar when the former started rubbing the lamp.

Jafar dropped the lamp too.

"Evie's not going anywhere until we get rid of this unibrow. Hmm?" Evie gasped and touched the space between her brows.

"What is wrong with you all? People used to cower at the mention of our names!" Maleficent stormed off of her throne as Mal and Malvin moved out of her way, scared of her anger. Carlos hid slightly behind his mother.

"For 20 years, I have searched for a way off this island. For 20 years, they have robbed us from our revenge! Revenge on Snow White and her horrible little men!" Maleficent pointed at Evil Queen.

"Revenge on Aladdin and his bloated Genie!"

"I will!-"

"Pop!" Jay stopped his father from throwing stuff.

"Revenge on every sneaky Dalmatian that escaped your clutches!"

"Oh. But they didn't get the Baby. They didn't get the..." Cruella laughed as she squeezed her squeaky toy.

"And I, Maleficent. The evilest of them all. I will finally have my revenge on Sleeping Beauty and her relentless little prince. Villains!"

"Yes?" Evil Queen asked as Maleficent sat on her chair, "Our day has come. EQ, give her the magic mirror."

"Yeah." EQ complied with Maleficent as she handed Evie, the enchanted mirror.

Evie looked at the small magic mirror judgmentally, "This is your magic mirror?"

"Yeah, well, it ain't what it used to be, but then again, neither are we!"

Both EQ and the twins' mom chuckled before the former of the two gave out further instructions on how to use the mirror, "It will help you find things."

"Like a prince!" Needless to say Evie loved the fantasy of having a prince for herself.

"Like my waistline."

"Like the magic wand! Hello!" Maleficent snapped, "My spell book. And my gem. My book. I need my gem and that book."

EQ pointed a thumb towards the refrigerator behind her as Maleficent went over, "The safe. The safe. Queen, help me. I can never figure this thing out." 

Evil Queen pulled a lever and opened the fridge, "Voila."

"My darlings, come!"

Maleficent pulled out a spell book first, "There she is. It doesn't work here, but it will in Auradon."

She handed the book to Mal who held it in her hands and stared at the book incredulously, "Malvin! I have been storing this for you!" Maleficent pulled out a long black and gold colored pen with a small but evident green gem on the top of it, "I managed to break off a little gem from my scepter and attach it to this magic pen that I sneaked off from someone else before they put me in here. The gem carries the essence of my magic and I want you to harvest that power into your own. This small piece of gem combined with this magical pen holds power equivalent to half of my scepter."

"What does the magic pen do?" Malvin asked, "If a person who trusts you, touches this pen, then whatever you write for them comes true. But the person should trust you completely, and you must remember that it only works on people after they touch it, the time limit of your control over them is an hour after contact. My gem allows you to perform spells as well."

"Wicked." Malvin said as he stared at the pen his mom just handed to him.

"Remember, when we were spreading evil and ruining lives." 

"Like it was yesterday."

"And now, you both will be making your own memories. By doing exactly as I tell you." Maleficent declared before a car honk was heard. Their ride was here.

"Let's get this party started!" Jay exclaimed as he got off the table.

All the villains gave their kids some last minute tips and advices (or orders) except for Maleficent, who took her kids to the Balcony. The three of them stared at the distant view of Auradon, "The future of the free world rests on your shoulders. Don't blow it."

Her stern voice caused Malvin to freeze and hesitate, Mal doing the same.

The VKs went downstairs and out of the Bargain Castle as they saw a black limo waiting for them. Their bags were kept in the back as they seated themselves. Maleficent gave her children an 'I'm watching you' hand gesture before they got into the car.

As soon as the five sat in the limo, Jay, Carlos and Malvin saw they candies in the shelves in front of them. There were tonnes of them.

The three boys competed to take the chocolates while Evie took out her blusher and tried to touch up Mal, "You're looking a little washed out. Let me help you out."

"Ew, stop."

Mal pushed away Evie's hand as Malvin just snickered at her.

"I'm plotting. You should be doing that too, Malvin." She reminded her brother who was eating a sour band. 

"I'm already done with that, slowpoke."

Mal rolled her eyes.

"You're not looking very attractive right now, you know." Mal shrugged off Evie's comments.

Carlos, Malvin and Jay were trying something new when Evie suddenly yelled, "Look!"

"It's a trap!"  Carlos yelled when he saw that there was no road that continued ahead, making everyone yell and duck, "Shit!"

It didn't take the VKs long enough to realize that it was a magical bridge activated by a remote that only the driver held.

"That was close. And embarassing." Malvin breathed out out in relief as everyone chuckled.

Auradon Prep

Gwendolyn, Ben, Fairy Godmother, Audrey, Ellen, and Chase were awaiting the arrival of the VKs along with the school band. Gwen and Ben were standing next to each other, with Gwen resting a hand on Ben's outstretched elbow. It was a polite gesture that the twins often used.

The excitement was undeniably evident on Gwendolyn's face. 

"How much longer, Ben?" She asked, impatient.

Ben only chuckled, "In a few minutes, Gwen." Gwen nodded her head with a smile.

The sound of cheers and the band playing their instruments made the twins aware of the black limo pulling up in front of the school. The band was up front, hiding everyone behind its big instruments.

The doors to the limo opened as two boys, who Gwendolyn assumed were Carlos and Jay, rolled out on to the ground fighting over a towel, "You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?" Carlos yelled. "'Cause you want it!" Jay said through gritted teeth.

A girl with blue hair, Evie(Gwen guessed), twirled around as Mal stepped around the two boys fighting. And the last appearance was of Malvin, who looked so done with the boys.

The band stopped playing and then dispersed as Fairy Godmother came through with a bright smile which faltered a bit when she saw the situation.

"Guys." Malvin kicked the boys lightly to indicate that they've got company, "We have an audience."

Jay smiled sheepishly, "Just cleaning up."

Malvin gave Carlos a hand and brought him up on his feet.

"Leave it like you found it! And by that I mean just leave it." Jay threw everything back in the limo just like Fairy Godmother told him to.

Jay looked at Audrey and confidently flirted, "Hello, foxy. The name's Jay."

Audrey just awkwardly laughed it off as Ellen leaned near Gwen's ear and whispered, "The confidence of that guy is admirable though." Gwendolyn just slightly chuckled, her action catching the attention of a certain VK.

Malvin swore that he'd never seen someone as beautiful as the blonde princess behind the Fairy Godmother. Although that didn't waver the small smirk that plastered itself to his lips as a thought crossed his mind.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep." Fairy Godmother said as she interrupted Jay's flirting, "I'm Fairy Godmother. Headmistress."

"The Fairy Godmother?" Malvin asked, eagerly.

"As in 'Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo'?" Mal added, "Bibbidi-Bobbidi. You know it!" FG answered.

"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella, when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile. And that sparkling wand." Mal tried to subtly ask for the whereabouts of the wand while Malvin just shook his head and thought, 'Way to not make it obvious...'

"That was a long time ago. And as I always say, 'Don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future!'"

Unable to hold her excitement in anymore, Gwendolyn signaled her brother to step forward to introduce themselves, "It's so nice to finally meet you all." Ben started.

"It's a pleasure, really." Gwen added after her twin. "I'm Ben."

Audrey immediately 'corrected' Ben, "Prince Benjamin. Soon to be King."

"And I'm Gwen!" The brunette stepped in again to 'correct' Gwen, "Princess Gwendolyn. Soon to be Queen. Don't be so modest, honey," Gwen and Audrey threw fake smiles at each other as Ellen rolled her eyes and said, "Might as well tell everyone their birth stories, Audrey."

Gwen held in her laughter as she pursed her lips while Audrey simply ignored the girl. 

"You had me at prince." Evie said when she processed the fact that Ben was a prince, "My mom's a queen. Which makes me a princess." The blue-nette gave a courtesy.

"The Evil Queen has no royal status here and neither do you," Evie's face fell as soon as Audrey made the comment making Gwen feel bad for the VK immediately, "She kinda does, Audrey. It's a technicality."

The soon the be Queen of Auradon smiled at Evie in an attempt to comfort her as she smiled back.

Malvin was closely watching the blonde-beauty whose name he'd just learned.

"Well, uh, this is Audrey." Ben introduced his girlfriend, "Princess Audrey. His girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" Audrey's giddy front was see-through for Gwendolyn. She'd known the girl all her life.

"Ben, Gwen and Audrey are going to show you all around, and I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00. And as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews."

The VKs let out polite laughs as FG and the band went away.

"We'll see you in class, Gwen!" Chase said before leaving the group of newbies and the royalty alone, along with Ellen who waved at her best friend before leaving as well.

"It is so, so, so good to finally meet you all." Gwen said as she stepped forward with Ben, shaking hands with Jay first. Ben went to do the same but received a fist bump to his chest. 

The princess moved on to Mal and shook hands with her while smiling brightly but the former just gave her a blank face. Evie reciprocated Gwen's smile when she shook hands with her, same with Carlos who wiped his hands on his trousers before doing so.

When Gwen reached Malvin, she found herself in awe of his amethyst eyes. 

Malvin couldn't take his gaze off the electric blue ocean-eyes that stared into his own. 

"Malvin. Nice to meet you, princess." Malvin took the hand in his hold near his lips and kissed it as Gwen smiled a bit wider and bowed her head as courtesy, 

"The pleasure's all mine, mon cher..."

I had to rewatch the movie because I had forgotten most of the main scenes lol

What do you think of the chemistry between Gwen and Malvin?

I'm trying not to take too many scenes from Ben and Mal because that would hinder their romance otherwise. I love them so I'm not gonna do that a lot!
