TIME SETTING: 2001

THE SCHOOL DAY WENT ON AND NOW IT WAS LUNCH TIME. Ace went to go sit with some of the players on her basketball team, while Kate went to go sit with her cheerleading team.

"Sup guys, ready for this season I hear the first school we're going against is "Beacon Hills High School" ?" Ace asked the group of boys she was sitting with – yep that's right Ace Argent was on the boys basketball team, because the school didn't have a girls basketball team. None of them wanted to play, they'd rather watch the games than actually be in them.

"I've gotten better this year. I'm telling you, I can shoot a 3 pointer now." Carlos said as he was taking a bite out of his sandwich.

Jake nodded, "Yeah, I went over to his house during winter break and we went over a few drills. He's definitely improved since last season."

"That's good, I'm mean don't get me wrong we're already the #1 basketball team in the state, but it never hurts to be better than last year." Michael added as he had just sat down at the table but heard the conversation walking over.

"I hear that Beacon Hills is #2, so I bet they're going to be coming for our asses this season," Ace replied.

"They can come, but when we've got you on our team they'll see nothing but net, when you're throwing your shots." Jake said, remembering every game they went and Ace always dominated the court.

"And you know it, I'm not losing any games this season. Mark my words." Ace said, being very head strong.

Carlos nodded, "You think your sister would ever go out with me?" Carlos asked, looking over to the table where all the cheerleaders were, that Kate was sitting with.

"That's highly doubtful since she is all about her new celebrity crush 'Chris Evans' now." Ace huffed.

"It was worth a shot, I mean I don't think I've seen Kate date anyone at this school." Michael said looking back on all the former years.

"She just doesn't do relationships," Ace said, knowing how her sister was when it came to feelings.

"Enough talk on, Kate and her dating status. After practice are we all gonna go out to Mcdonald's to celebrate the first practice of the season?" Jake asked, and everyone sitting at the table nodded their heads 'yes'.

"I mean Kate asked me to watch "Not Another Teen Movie", but I can tell her later and say I'll be home late." Ace told Jake, and he nodded his head.

It was about another 20 minutes, then the bell rang and they all said their goodbye and parted ways to their next classes.

Ace who didn't have a class at this time exited the school to go do her other favorite thing, boxing.

She got in her car and sped off the school premises leaving a trail of tire marks that was where she once was parked. While in the car, she put her aux cord in it's socket and blasted "Bad Boys For Life." She rolled her car windows down and let the wind hit her face.

It was about a 15 minute drive to get to "Bear's Boxing Arena" and Ace made it 7. It was the middle of the day so not that many people were on the road, but also Ace was a really fast driver so it didn't matter if people were on the road or not.

Parking her car in front of the building she went in and was greeted with no one other than, Jimmy "The Bear" Davison, who was also a hunter, but he wasn't hardcore like her father. She would actually consider the man a second father since he taught her how to throw her first proper uppercut.

"Hey Jimmy, how's the day going?" She asked with a smile as she was walking towards the locker room.

"Oh you know, new customers come in every hour." Jimmy joked, as his Jersey voice was coming out prominently.

"Yeah, yeah, you'll get more people I know it, especially since you're opening up for younger kids as well now."

"You are definitely right, well I leave you to it and this time try not to destroy all my punching bags." Jimmy said while he pointed his finger at Ace.

She laughed and said "Yes, Jimmy" dragging out the 'y' in his name.

Ace entered the locker room and went straight to her own personal one she had in the back. It was already filled with her things so all she had to do now was change.

Being ready now after changing, Ace made her way over to the punching bag area and started with some light taps, then went into full blown uppercuts, mixing in some cross–jabs, elbow sticks and some side kicks.

After about 45 minutes of her daily boxing, Ace went to her locker and grabbed some body wash, a towel and her clothes she was wearing before. And walked over to the private woman's shower. She was very grateful to say the least, she took a quick 15 minute shower, dried herself off then put on deodorant and put her school clothes back on. She went to her locker, put the body wash back, then grabbed some perfume, sprayed it, then put it back in her locker, closed it, then locked it.

She took her dirty clothes and towel with her, as she was going home so she could put them in the washer.

Ace was now back in her car going to her house, so she could do her laundry and get back to school for basketball practice.

When she finally made it home, she didn't waste any time. She ran to the laundry room, put her dirty clothes from the boxing arena in the washer and then ran upstairs to her bathroom to get the dirty clothes out the hamper.

Making it back down stairs she put all of her clothes in the washer, then threw in some detergent and softener and closed it and let it begin its cycle.

She then walked to her mom's office and knocked on the door, she heard her mother say "Come in" and she entered the room.

"Hey mom, I just came home to put some clothes in the washer, can you put them in the dryer when they're done, please?" Ace asked.

"Yeah, I can do that for you," her mother replied.

"Also after basketball practice I'm heading out with the guys to go to Mcdonald's, if that's okay with you of course?" Ace asked her mom.

"Yeah, just make sure you're back by at least 11." Lila said.

"I won't be out that long, but thank you, have a nice rest of your day." Ace said heading out of her mother's office.

"You too sweetie, bye!" Lila said to her receding daughter.

Now making her way back to school, Ace headed to the girls locker room to get changed for basketball practice, as she finished putting on her clothes when the final bell rang and she could hear all the kids leaving.

As she walked out of the girls locker room she saw her sister leaving and yelled, "I'll see you later Katherine."

Which caught Kate's attention because no one called her Katherine except for Ace when she's trying to get her attention.

"Let me guess, you're going to be home later than usual since you're hanging out with the guys tonight?" Kate asked, walking up to her sister.

"Yep, but after we are going to watch the movie we planned on watching." Ace said.

"Alright, see you at home and good luck at practice." Kate said as she turned around to leave the building.

And with that Ace went to the gym and sat on the bleachers until their 'Coach Parker' came in.

All the guys flooded the gym, and Coach finally came in 5 minutes later.

"All right you know what the drill is guys, first up we got cone dribbling. GO!" Parker yelled, and all the basketball players scrambled and grabbed basketballs off the rack, and went to go do their drills.

After finishing their set off drills, they all started shooting hoops while playing offense and defense.

"That's enough drills. Now I'm gonna tell you if you're on offense or defense, line up." Parker said to her team.

"Lopez, defense. Johnson, offense. Argent, defense. Smith, offense. Garcia, defense." Parker went on saying, stating the player positions.

After everyone went to their locker rooms and changed, then left the school and went to the parking lot to get in their cars to meet up at the Mcdonald's around the corner.

"Last one there has to pay," Ace shouted and everyone ran to their cars and hopped in and left the school premises in a flash.

Of course, Ace was the first one there with her fast driving then Carlos was second and last was Michael.

"Oh come on, this happens almost every time," Michael whined.

"You know what since it feels good playing again, my treat." Ace offered.

"Don't worry about it Michael, you got it next time," Ace said as they were now walking into the fast food place.

He nodded his head and said thanks, then everyone ordered and Ace payed with her card.

They sat at the tables laughing and talking, shooting straw papers at each other. It was about 1 and 30 minutes later when the gang left saying their goodbyes and went home.

Ace was making her way to the grocery store to get some snacks for her and Kate to enjoy while watching their movie.

She went in, grabbed some oreo's, goldfish, skittles, and grabbed 'Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough' for Kate, and 'Ice Cream Sammies' better known as cookies and cream for her. Then went to the checkout, bought her items and went home.

About 8 minutes later she was pulling up in her driveway. She parked her car, locked it then raced to the front door. She ran up to her sister's room and jumped in her bed.

"I'm back and I've got snacks." Ace said while she flipped around to face her sister.

"Good, now let's watch some Chris Evans," Kate said with a smirk, and popped the DVD into her TV and let it play. Then joined her sister on her bed and watched the movie while laughing together and letting the night past them bye.
