TIME SETTING: 2001

WINTER BREAK HAD WENT BY TOO FAST FOR ACE ARGENT. She felt like it was only 2 days that had passed by, but the only thing that made her even remotely excited for school was basketball practice and the games.

It was Tuesday morning, 7:00 am, and the thing that woke her up was not her alarm clock, but it was her twin sister's loud 'annoying' music, specifically "Love Don't Cost A Thing" by JLo, on repeat. Ever since it hit the top 100, on the chart's she kept on playing every morning while she was getting ready for school, or just getting ready in general.

"What the fuck, not again," Ace sighed as she was now looking up at the ceiling of her room.

Don't get her wrong, Ace loved her some JLo, but she didn't need to hear it every morning.

So as she rolled out of her bed, literally, and face planted on the floor, she groaned and got up to walk out of her room, and storm into her twin sister's room.

As she entered the room she saw Kate dancing around with a hairbrush in her hand and the other high up in the air, like she was in a music video.

She was mad, but once she saw her sister she couldn't do anything but laugh.

Kate heard her loud but yet somehow very pretty laugh and turned around to face her sister who happens to share the same face.

Ace knew what was happening, it happened almost every time she came in her sister's room. Kate pulled Ace into her room and made her dance and sing with her.

Granted Ace wasn't a total girly girl, but that didn't stop her from dancing and singing around like she owned the place.

After a 10 minute dance session with the twins, Ace stopped dancing and told her sister she was going to get ready for school.

Ace entered her room and went straight to her closet to pick out her clothes for the day, she settled with a beige zip–up, miss–match patched jeans, a white cropped tank top, and last but not least some white air force one's.

As she set all her clothes out on the bed, she then turned around and  headed to her bathroom to take a shower.

It was about 20 minutes later when Ace got out of the shower, as she stepped out she grabbed her white towel and wrapped it around her body and walked up to her sink. She then wiped off the steam that fogged up her mirror and began to brush her teeth.

After she finished that she walked into her room and finished drying herself off, then put on her undergarments which consisted of a black lace bra and black boyfriend bikini waisted underwear.

As she finished putting those on she then went over to her dresser and grabbed "Champagne Toast" lotion that she got from Victoria's Secret and rubbed it on her arms, legs, and torso. She put her lotion back, then grabbed her spray–on deodorant and put it on and put it back where she got it from, then finally went to go put on the clothes she chose to wear to school today.

After she finally finished putting on her clothes, she went back to her bathroom and did a small winged eyeliner, then added some mascara on her eyelashes and put highlighter on her cheek bones and her nose.

As she was finished with her make–up look she grabbed a few of her gold rings and put them on the grabbed a few gold necklaces and over lapped them together to go with her outfit. And put her hair in a neat high pony tail since she had basketball practice after school.

As she was about to walk out of her room, she then remembered she had to grab some clothes for basketball practice. So she went to her dresser and opened the second one and grabbed some gray nike basketball shorts and then grabbed a black nike workout shirt. And went over to her duffle bag that said "Devenford Prep Basketball" on the front side, unzipped it and put her clothes in that she would need for practice. She also put some extra socks in and grabbed her white basketball shoes and threw them in.

As she was finally sure she was finished with everything she needed for school today she grabbed her backpack, duffle bag and lanyard and walked out of her room, closed the door behind her and walked down stairs.

As she had finally reached the first floor of her house she saw her sister in the kitchen with her mother talking while drinking coffee.

As her mother saw her walk in she spoke to her, "Did you get a good night's rest for practice today?"

"Yes, I did mom. Kate just woke me up with her loud music again." Ace replied, as she laughed a little.

"I was just getting you in the morning groove, Ace. It wasn't that bad and you know it." Kate said to her sister as she smiled.

"Yeah, yeah I know." Then Ace finally took in what her sister was wearing as she looked at her up and down.

"Are you sure you want to wear that? You do know it is cold outside right?"

"I am well aware Ace, beauty is pain, plus it pays to look this good," Kate said as she did a little twirl.

Smiling Ace responded, "As you wish dear sister."

Ace then walked to the pantry to grab some snacks for the day, which consisted of potato chips, pretzels and a fruit roll up and stuffed them into her bag. Then gravitated to where the drink was and grabbed two gatorades "Glacier Cherry" to be specific, for practice.

Then headed to the top cabinet to get a travel cup for some coffee she was going to drink on the way to school.

As she finished pouring the coffee in the cup she added some creamer and sugar, she then went over by the front door and grabbed her car keys from the hook and waited for Kate to finish getting her things, then saw her making her way over to grab her keys.

As they were about to walk out of the front door, they turned around to their mother who was still in the kitchen and spoke at the same time, "Bye Mom, have a good day."

And their mother waved to them as they left, while she stayed inside the house cause she was a stay at home mom.

Getting into their separate cars, Ace's which was a "2001 Honda S2000 AP1" in black with tinted windows, and Kate's which was a " Mazda RX7 w/ pop–up headlights" that was white and black. Left their house to go to their high school "Devenford Prep High School" to complete their senior year.

As they were already 18 and ready to be out of high school, they didn't have that many classes cause they took some extras in their earlier years, because their dad Gerard wanted them to be focused on the family business which was hunting supernaturals.

Ace was in front of her sister driving down the road to get onto the highway, to get to their high school. They drove separate cars because Ace would always argue that Kate was a slow driver, and Kate would always argue that Ace was always going too fast. So their parent's got them separate cars to keep them from arguing anymore.

Ace had an adrenaline rush, she loved driving fast and also had a police scanner in her car with a radio that connected to the local law enforcement radios. So she knew when they were busy or when things were calm.

As she had finally made it to her high school it was 8:30 and her school started at 8:45, so she had 15 minutes to spare.

She parked her car in her reserved parking lot that she paid for and grabbed her bags then got out and walked towards the entrance of the school and walked through the big double doors.

As she was walking down the halls she said hi to the people she knew and kept walking till she got to the girls locker room and set her duffle bag inside of her assigned locker, made sure it was locker when she was finished then walked out of the locker room to her own personal school locker.

She entered in her combination and opened her locker and as she was putting her stuff in, she was met with her twin sister who just entered the school. Somehow they ended up with lockers beside each other so it made it easier for them to find each other after the classes they had.

"Do you have cheer practice this afternoon or do you not start till next week?" Ace asked.

"Nope, I have it next week, so I'm going to be leaving the school at the same time as everyone else or earlier since I only have three classes." Kate replied to her sister.

"That's fine you probably won't see me until dinner then or maybe later, depending on how practice goes with the guys." Ace said as spoke back to her sister as she closed her locker door.

"Okay, want to watch "Not Another Teen Movie " when you get home it has Chris Evans in it?" Kate suggested, as he was currently her celebrity crush at the moment.

"Sure, but I want no interruptions from you saying how hot Chris Evans is, okay?"

"Fine, fine but you can't judge me, have you seen that man?" Kate said, as the sisters were now walking down the hall to go to their class they had together which was Literary English.

"Yeah, I know Kate the man is hot, but no exceptions." Ace said pointing to her sister.

"All right, all right let's just get through this day."

"Yep, let's do that," Ace said as she sighed as they finally reached their English class.

They both took their seats and got their notebooks out ready to take notes as their teacher Mrs.Hearten walked in.

This is the first official chapter of "Mistaken Identity" I hope you enjoy,more will happen in the story. Right now I'm just introducing the Argent family dynamic before everything really starts.
