Aleta looked at Clarke in shock. "What? No!" She exclaimed. Bellamy walked over to a few seats and began cutting off a seatbelt.
"Just tell us!" Octavia pleaded as she walked closer to the grounder. Two guys grabbed her and pulled her away from him and she struggled in their grip. "Bellamy, stop!" Aleta commanded but he didn't listen. She stepped forward but someone grabbed her arm and pulled her back. She turned her head to see that it was Nathan Miller. "Nathan, get your hands off of me!" She exclaimed.
"Just stay out of this. Please," Nathan whispered as he eyed the grounder uneasily. "Get off of me," she snapped as she squirmed in his grip. His arms wrapped around her upper body and he pulled her back, making her struggle harder. Bellamy walked over to the grounder and used a knife to cut off his shirt.
"You're gonna show us the antidote or you're gonna wish you had," Bellamy threatened. Aleta freed herself and pushed Nathan backward. "Bellamy, no. Please," Octavia quietly said, tears in her eyes. Bellamy raised his arm and slammed it down, allowing the seatbelt to smack against the grounder's chest. Aleta flinched and the man grunted. Bellamy raised he seatbelt again and released it on the grounder's face.
Aleta flinched again and Clarke slid to the ground. "Which one's the antidote?" Clarke asked him. "Just tell them," Aleta pleaded. The grounder looked at her and tilted his head to the side slightly. Bellamy followed the man's gaze and clenched his jaw. Clarke moved out of the way and Bellamy began hitting the Grounder with the seatbelt again. Aleta attempted to latch onto Bellamy's arm. She got ahold of it and temporarily stopped his actions.
"What the hell, Bellamy? Stop!" She shouted. "Let go of my arm," Bellamy muttered through gritted teeth. Aleta's eyes filled with defiance and his eyes narrowed to slits. "I mean it, Aleta. Let go," he tried again, his glare hard. "Not until you agree to stop," she snapped. Bellamy's glare hardened even more and he tried to pull his arm out of her grasp. Aleta kept a firm grip on his arm, eyes filled with rage.
Nathan got ahold of her again and began yanking the girl away from Bellamy. Her grip loosened and she began pounding her fists into Nathan's arms. "Let go of me, you ass! I mean it!" She exclaimed. Bellamy turned back to the grounder and began hitting the man with the seatbelt again.
He kept going and going and Aleta felt sick to her stomach as she watched until she couldn't take it and looked away. "Enough!" Octavia yelled. "Guys! He's getting worse! We're running out of time!" Raven called up to them. Clarke became even more desperate and began begging the grounder for the antidote. "Please, just tell us which one the antidote is. Our friend is dying," Aleta pleaded again. The grounder just looked at her, not uttering a word. "If that doesn't work, maybe this will," Bellamy said as he picked up a large nail. "Clarke, you don't have to be here for this," he said next and Aleta scoffed.
"I'm not leaving until I get that antidote," Clarke said determinedly. "Last chance," Bellamy warned the grounder in front of him. When the grounder didn't say anything, Bellamy shoved the nail into his hand. Aleta looked away again, clamping her hands over her mouth. She felt absolutely useless and she hated it. "What's taking so long? He stopped breathing," Raven said as she walked onto the second level. Aleta's eyes widened in fear as she turned to look at the girl.
"What?" Clarke gasped, preparing to go back down to Finn, but Raven stopped her. "He started again, but next time, he might not," Raven said, causing Aleta to release a relieved breath. "He won't tell us anything," Clarke said in frustration. Raven looked at the grounder and then the wall, "Wanna bet?"
Raven walked over to the wall and yanked two blue wires out of it. "What are you doing?" Aleta exclaimed. "Showing him something new," Raven replied as she hit the two wires together causing sparks to fly. The grounder grunted in fear and tried to move away from her. Raven pressed the wire onto his body and electrocuted him, which made the lights flicker.
The grounder screamed in pain. "Which one is it? Come on!" Raven shouted. He didn't answer so she pressed the wires to him again, which caused him to grunt and scream in pain. "Raven stop! That's enough!" Aleta shouted. She walked closer to the girl and grabbed her arm. Raven swung the wire around and Aleta ducked before it could touch her. "Back off," Raven snapped dangerously, her tone threatening. Aleta's eyes widened in surprise.
Bellamy pulled Aleta back by the arm, which she proceeded to yank out of his grasp. Raven was crying now. "He's all I have!" She said as she continued electrocuting him. Aleta's stomach dropped at her friend's words, a frown forming on her face. Finn wasn't all that Raven had. Did she actually believe that?
Octavia had finally had enough. This was all too much. "No more!" Octavia yelled. She was holding the poisoned dagger in her hand. "He's letting Finn die!" Raven shouted back. Octavia was also crying and breathing heavily. She dragged the blade across her skin. The grounder struggled and seemed to be trying to stop her. "Octavia, no!" Bellamy said. "He won't let me die," Octavia muttered. She lowered herself to the ground and began holding up vials.
The grounder would shake his head slightly at the ones that weren't correct. When she held up the right vial, he nodded his head and Octavia handed it to Clarke. "Here," she said. "Thank you," Clarke replied before she and Raven rushed out.
"Don't touch me," Octavia exclaimed as Bellamy placed his hands on her shoulders. He looked hurt and looked up at the grounder. Aleta released a shaky breath and slid down the dropship wall. Nathan walked over to her and crouched next to her. She looked up at him and glared. He nodded, stood up fully, and took a step away from her.
Bellamy looked at her and took a step toward her but she quickly shook her head at him. "Stay the hell away from me," she snapped. "I was just doing what needed to be done," Bellamy defended. At that, Aleta stood, "Yeah, you keep telling yourself that." She walked toward the hatch and climbed down the ladder.

When Aleta came back up, Nathan and Octavia were about to go down. Aleta took the younger girl's hand and gave it a squeeze. She then walked over to the grounder and grabbed a cloth. She soaked it in water and squeezed out the excess. "I'm just gonna clean you up, okay?" She asked.
He didn't say anything and Aleta took his silence as a sign that it was okay. She placed the cloth on his face and gently began wiping away the blood. He flinched ever so slightly but that was the only reaction that she got out of him. "I'm really sorry that this happened to you. I wish I could've done something more to stop it," Aleta mumbled.
When the grounder doesn't say anything, she sighed. "ยฟHablas espaรฑol?" she tried. The man blinked once but says nothing. "Yeah, I didn't think so," she muttered before continuing. "I know a lot of languages. I can pick them up pretty easily. It's one of the few things that I'm good at. If you speak to me in your language, maybe I'll understand?" She tried again, just to be met with silence. You probably have no idea what I'm saying.
Aleta moved from cleaning his face to wiping the blood off of his chest. "There's not much I can do to help your wounds. We're missing some proper medical supplies. I just hope none of these cuts get infected. I'm sure I could make some kind of medicine out of some plants but, I don't really know the terrain very well, or plants," she rambled.
The grounder grunted when she pressed a little too hard on one of his bruises. "Sorry," she said quietly. The room was engulfed in a, somewhat awkward, silence. "Do you have a name?" She asked him before mentally face palming. "I don't know why I keep trying to have a conversation with you. It's not like you understand what I'm saying. It's just, sometimes I talk a lot so that I can make awkward situations less awkward. But that's not really working. So, I'm just gonna shut up now," she said.
The grounder made a strange noise, which caused Aleta look up at him. It looked as though the tiniest of smiles adorned his features. But when Aleta blinked, it was gone so she figured she had imagined it.
"You really shouldn't be up here," a voice said. Aleta turned her head and scowled. "I can be wherever I want, Nathan," she snapped. She turned back to the grounder and continued to clean his wounds. "Bellamy wouldn't want you up here," Nathan pressed. "All the more reason to stay up here," Aleta muttered.
"I don't want you up here either," he continued. "And I don't care, Miller. Now go away," she countered. "Whoa. Miller? You never call me by my last name, which I prefer. You always said that you liked my first name and that I should like it too," the boy said in surprise. "That should be a sign that I'm pissed at you. Leave me alone," she replied.
"Are you doing this to spite me or something?" He questioned in slight amusement, referring to the fact that she was with the grounder. "I'm doing this because Bellamy, Clarke, and Raven tortured a human being for no reason and I don't want his injuries to get infected," Aleta responded, rolling her eyes.
"They had a reason," Nathan defended and Aleta scoffed. "Not a good one. Finn, wouldn't have wanted this," she said. "Why do you care about this guy? You don't even know him," Nathan said. "Neither do you," Aleta said back. "I know enough," he replied.
"You know nothing," Aleta retorted, turning to face him. "All you people just assume that he's a bad guy. That he's trying to kill us. But you don't know anything about him or what's going on," she exclaimed as she moved away from the grounder and toward Nathan. "Neither do you. The facts are right there in front or your face. He's been watching our camp and God knows what else. He's one of the people who speared Jasper and killed John, Diggs, and Roma," Nathan said angrily.
"That wasn't even him," Aleta said. "You don't know that!" Nathan shouted. "I know he saved Octavia's life," she rebutted. "He also stabbed Finn and wanted him to die," he replied. Aleta stayed quiet at that. "Face it, Aleta, he's not a good guy and the sooner you realize it, the better. Bellamy did what he had to do," Nathan said.
"I disagree," Aleta shrugged. Miller sighed in frustration. "Why are you taking his side?" He asked. "I'm not taking sides, I'm distinguishing the difference between right and wrong. What Clarke, Raven, and Bellamy did to him was wrong," Aleta responded. "What about what he did to us? What his people did? It's not gonna stop Aleta. It'll just keep getting worse until we're all dead," he said.
"What happened to the Nathan from the Ark? The one who stole a book from the library for me so that I wouldn't have to keep going back just to read it? The one who used to flirt with Elijah in front of me because you knew it annoyed me? The one who told Freya that she was beautiful and that if you weren't gay, you'd date her when she was crying because she thought that she wasn't good enough? The nice guy that I grew up with," Aleta questioned.
Nathan was quiet for a moment and then he sighed. "That guy disappeared the day he got arrested," he said quietly. "I don't believe that. I think he's still in there. You're just pretending to be someone that you're not to impress these people. If you can't be yourself here, then I feel sorry for you," Aleta said.
The grounder grunted, reminding the two of his presence and Aleta walked back over to him. She finished cleaning him up and smiled a small smile at him. "I'll be back to check on you later," she whispered, even though he couldn't understand her. She placed the rag that she was holding on a crate and brushed passed Nathan, heading for the exit.
She climbed down the ladder and walked toward the exit of the dropship, almost running into Raven on the way. "Hey," Raven said awkwardly. "Bye," Aleta replied, moving to walk past the girl. "Aw, come on Aleta, wait," Raven said. Aleta stopped and turned to the girl with narrowed eyes.
"What?" She questioned. "You're not seriously mad at me are you?" Raven asked and Aleta sighed. "Not mad. Just disappointed," she answered. "That's worse than mad," Raven pointed out and Aleta shrugged. "He was letting Finn die," Raven said, defending her actions. "I understand that, Raven. But there were other ways that we could have handled that situation. You and Bellamy and Clarke chose the wrong one. Not only that, but you threatened me. Your best friend since childhood. I barely recognized you in that moment," Aleta said. Raven's eyes held sadness as she was reminded of what she had done.
"You said Finn was all you had but you have me. I guess that's just not enough for you," Aleta continued. Raven looked down in shame. Aleta was right, she did have her. Aleta had been there for her for so long and for a moment, Raven had lost sight of that. "Don't say that. You are enough, Aleta. You're more than enough," Raven assured her.
In the past, when Aleta's feelings for Raven were more than just friendly, Raven's words would've made her heart flutter. And if Raven had said these things the day before or even a few hours ago, she would've believed her words instantly. But right now, in this moment, Aleta had her doubts.
Clarke walked over to the two then, turning to Aleta as she began to speak. "Finn's okay. He's awake now and his fever has gone down," she informed. Aleta nodded, "That's good." Her tone made Clarke frown. "You're angry. About what we did," she stated. "Not angry, disappointed," Raven repeated Aleta's words to the blonde. "That's worse," Clarke pointed out like Raven had. "That's what I said," Raven told her.
"I need fresh air," Aleta said, turning to the exit again. "Aleta, wait," Clarke protested, causing Aleta to groan. "What now? Are you gonna explain your reasoning for doing what you did? Justify it so that it doesn't seem as bad as it is?" Aleta questioned. Clarke shook her head, "No. I was just going to say that I did what I felt was right. My decision, my choice, saved a life. I did the right thing, Aleta," Clarke said.
"I know, Clarke. I know that's what you need to believe. But you didn't save Finn's life. Octavia did," Aleta stated and Clarke's frown deepened. "I don't understand why you're so upset," the blonde replied in exasperation. "You see, that's the problem right there. You don't even understand just how messed up what you did was. Just because they do bad things, doesn't mean we have to do bad things too. I thought you guys were better than that. What you all did in there, that's not who we are. That's not what we do, Clarke. We're supposed to save lives, not almost end them!" Aleta exclaimed.
"I did save a life. Finn's life. You remember Finn, right? Your friend," Clarke countered. "Yeah I remember Finn. And I know that Finn wouldn't be happy to know what you did to try to save his life. Because again, you didn't save his life. Octavia saved his life," Aleta repeated. Raven looked down at the ground again and Clarke sighed.
"I just wish you would've thought of a better way to get that antidote. Is it wrong for me to feel that way? Is it wrong for me to be angry about the fact that you physically harmed someone just for information? Because it seems like I'm in the wrong for feeling the way that I do about the situation," Aleta said. The two girls in front of her said nothing and Aleta rolled her eyes.
"As fun as this conversation was, I need some air," she said. The dropship air was beginning to suffocate her and she wanted to get out.
She walked toward the exit and stepped outside into the night air, not saying another word to either of them.

Here's chapter fifteen. There was lots of drama between friends. If you couldn't tell, Aleta is the kind of person who doesn't like violence or hurting people like they did. That's why she was so upset. The ground changes people though. Let's hope it doesn't change her. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Please be sure to comment and vote. Have a nice day everyone.
