Reassurance
(Y/N) and Mirabel were making their way through the house, which was full of busy people getting ready for the ceremony. (Y/N) almost ran into someone though luckily her best friend pulled her out of the way in time.
As (Y/N) was walking, her eyes caught onto Camilo who was at the top of the stairs helping. The boy felt someone staring at him so he turned around and met (Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes.
He smiled down at her, leaning his face in one of his hands on the railing, "Hey cariño!"
(Y/N) flushed at the nickname and waved back shyly, continuing her walking with Mirabel.
Suddenly a big gust of wind almost knocked the two girls back, their hair blowing in their faces.
"My baby's night has to be perfect, and it's not perfect. And people are going to be coming. And nothing's ready." Pepa was stressing, creating a tornado swirling around her body, blowing some of the flowers away because of it.
"The flowers! The flowers!" Felix was stressing as well, watching how his wife made the flowers fly everywhere.
"Did someone say flowers?" Isabela came swinging down on a flower swing made from her power, (Y/N) and Mirabel deadpanned at her.
Isabela handed Pepa a bunch of flowers, who took it gratefully.
Isabela then swung her long hair, hitting (Y/N) in the process and created flowers from the hit. The (H/C) grunted from her hit.
"A little sisterly advice you two, if you weren't always trying too hard, you wouldn't be in the way." Isabela casual told the two and (Y/N) looked down hurt, holding onto the basket tighter.
Mirabel saw her best friends face and decided to defend them both, "Actually, Isa, this is called helping. And we're not in the way. You are."
Just as she finished talking, (Y/N) followed behind closely, not seeing the plant in front of her and ran head first into it, making her grunt.
"(Y/N)! are you okay?" Mirabel laughed slightly at her clumsy friend but still was generally worried about her.
"I'm okay." (Y/N) groaned, holding onto her sore forehead.

The girls made their way to where Mirabel's mother was, (Y/N) carrying the heavy basket trying not to hit anyone and safely placed it on the kitchen bench.
"Mi vidas, you okay? You both don't have to overdo it." Julieta asked concerned about the girls.
"We know, Mama," Mirabel started handing (Y/N) the stuff in the basket who placed it on the moving table, "We just wanna do our part like the rest of the family."
"She's right, amor." Mirabel's dad popped into view, glancing between the girls with his nose swelled up from something, "First gift ceremony since yours. A lot of emotions."
"Bee stings." (Y/N) cringed at his hand that patted hers which was swelled up as well.
"Ay, Agustin." Julieta sighed, going to make something for the bee stings.
"When me and your tio Felix, married into the family outsiders who had no gift, never, ever would.. surrounded by the exceptional, it was easy to feel," Agustin paused, holding a jar of cookies, "Un-ceptional."
"Okay, Agustin." (Y/N) chuckled, placing party hats onto the table.
"I'm just saying, I get it."
Julieta came back with food for her husband, "Eat." She shoved it into his mouth and the male ate it.
The woman grabbed (Y/N)'s shoulders, talking to both girls, "Mi amors, if you ever wanna talk.."
(Y/N) politely shrugged the hand on her shoulder, following Mirabel out, "We gotta put out the stuff. The house isn't gonna decorate itself."
The banners that were hanging off the ceiling lowered a bit at (Y/N)'s words, like a kicked puppy and the girl immediately felt bad, "Sorry, you could. You look great." she cooed. The decorations went back up after that.
"Corazones, remember!" Julieta called out to the girls.
"Yeah, remember!" Agustin repeated, one arm wrapped around his wife's shoulders.
"You both have nothing to prove!"
"You both have nothing to prove!"
(Y/N) and Mirabel hummed, waving a hand back at them.

Mirabel was setting up candles with a material underneath that had the children in the family's name on top of it. Showing who's who.
While (Y/N) was near her, looking at the family photos, getting closer when she saw Camilo's younger self. The girl's lips twitched up into a soft smile, seeing his big goofy grin that hasn't change. (Y/N) reached out and traced his face in the photo with her thumb.
"One hour!" Abuela's loud yell knocked (Y/N) out of her trance, snapping her back into reality. She turned to her best friend, seeing her standing next to her with a knowing smirk. (Y/N) scrunched her nose up embarrassed and looked the other way.
Mirabel laughed at (Y/N)'s reaction and moved back slightly, forgetting the things she placed down on the ground, knocking one of the candles over onto the material she and (Y/N) made, "Oh! No, No!"
(Y/N)'s eyes widened at this, quickly patting her shoe onto the fire, trying to put it out as Mirabel held onto the now burned out candle.
"Maybe you two should leave the decorations to someone else?" Abuela said, hands out gesturing.
(Y/N) shook her head, "No, We actually made these as a surprise for you," She showed the older lady the gift but it was burning still and ruined, "Ooh!" She chuckled nervously.
Abuela sighed, looking between the girls, "(Y/N), Mirabel, I know you two want to help but tonight must go perfectly. The whole town relies on our family, on our gifts. So, the best way for some of us to help is to step aside. Let the rest of the family do what they do best. Okay?"
(Y/N) held a tight smile again, "Mm-hmm."
A sudden loud blow of wind caught the three's attention, seeing Pepa with a dark cloud above her head, "Pepa! You have a cloud!"
"I know, Mama," Pepa's cloud started thundering, "But now I can't find Antonio. What do you want from me?"
Mirabel grabbed (Y/N)'s hand reassuringly, taking her away as Abuele walked the opposite way, "Mama, be nice to Mirabel and (Y/N), okay?" Julieta's voice talked in the background and the girls could just hear it, "You know tonight will be hard for them, especially (Y/N).. you know what some people think of her."
"If the gift ceremony doesn't go well this time, tonight will be hard for us all." Was all Abuela said back.
(Y/N) sighed heavily to herself, opening her bedroom door and walked inside though not before giving Mirabel a big hug and a kiss on the cheek, the girls rooms right next to each other.
The (H/C) sat on her bed, glancing around her room and heard people looking for one of her favourite boys Antonio. She reached out to her bedside table and grabbed a knitted present, "Everyone's looking for you." She called out, not receiving anything in response.
(Y/N) clicked her tounge, holding the present by one of its knitted strings, "This present will self-destruct if you don't take it in three, two, one," The present was snacthed from her grip, "Oh." (Y/N) chuckled, knowing who was under her bed, so she joined the little boy.
(Y/N) wiggled her way under the bed, seeing Antonio there playing with her present, "Nervous?" She asked.
Antonio just crossed his arms, laying his head on top of them.
(Y/N) smiled to herself, shuffling closer to the little boy, "You have nothing to worry about. You're gonna get your gift and open that door and it's gonna be the coolest ever," (Y/N) tucked some of his curly locks behind his ear, "I know it."
Antonio smiled a little, leaning into her touch then his face shifted to worry, "What if it doesn't work?" He whispered.
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows, tilting her head to the side, "Well, in that impossible scenario, you'd stay here in the nursery with me," She gestured to herself, "Forever," (Y/N) whispered dramatically.
(Y/N) then nuzzled her nose against Antonio's, making him giggle loudly, "And I'd get you all to myself."
Once the giggles stopped, the boy glanced down to the floor in sorrow, "I wish you and Mirabel could have a door."
(Y/N) sighed mentally to herself, knowing that this boy truely thought of her as family. Which she greatly appreciated. "You know what? You don't have to worry about us, cause we have an amazing family and an amazing house," She kissed Antonio's forehead, "And an amazing you. And seeing you get your special gift and your door, that's gonna make me way more happy than anything."
(Y/N) sighed big, leaning her head on top of Antonio's, "But, alas, I am gonna miss having the world's best roomie." She placed the gift in front of the boy and gestured for him to open it.
He opened it and gasped at what he saw inside, it was a stuffed toy animal, "I know you're an animal guy and I made this so, when you move into your cool new room, you always have something to snuggle with." (Y/N) bumped her shoulder against Antonio's.
The boy smiled brightly at her and placed his head against (Y/N)'s shoulder, "You know, my brother talks about you alot." The curly head boy whispered, looking up to (Y/N).
(Y/N)'s eyes went wide, choking on a cough and stuttered, "H-huh? he does?"
Antonio giggled, snuggling closer to (Y/N), "I think he really likes you."
(Y/N) just laughed nervously but inside her head she was screaming.
The floor then started to move, gaining the attention of the two, seeing a clock with the time meaning the house wanted them to get ready.
"All right, hombrecito, you ready?" (Y/N) asked.
Antonio nodded, bumping his shoulder into (Y/N)'s.
Just before they were both about to get out, (Y/N) pulled the young boy back, "Sorry, I got to get one more squeeze." She hugged the boy tight and placed a sloppy kiss against his cheek, making the boy giggle. The floor started to move again and rolled the two apart.
"Okay, okay, we're going!" (Y/N) exclaimed, laughing as the floor continued moving underneath them.
