essam amun-masika let's out a wild cackle of joy, swifting and elegantly rolling out of the way of an incoming pillow that had been thrown at him with the full intent of murder. north von sullivan, the said pillow thrower let's out a frustrated yell as he eradicates the pokemon cards held in hand with his quirk before grabbing hold of another big plushy pillow and launching it straight at a laughing essam's face.

"stop fucking up our game you bastard!"

essam merely sticks his tongue out in defiance, leading to a series of catastrophic chain reactions as the third world war began with a bunch of super sized pillows used as the primary weapons.

"but what are they even playing...?" sofia nishimura, the only innocent child in the group questions, glancing at her companion. "don't question it." samantha magpantay sighs in resignation, having already given up on their team members as well teacher a long time ago. the two sat comfortably on a long and luxurious looking sofa, each holding their respective phones in hand as they casually watch the chaos unfold, their classmates and manchild for a teacher having the best time of their lives on the super soft looking king sized bed. unfortunately this heavenly looking furniture was currently under the control of a bunch of rascals.

"superrrrrr pillow smashhhhhhh-" benjamin barett baker bellowed as he strikes his fellow companions with a flurry of pillow attacks, only to receive a head smash from behind which immediately knocked him out. "and that's what you call a perfect ko!" cerise belanger declares with a victorious smile, earning a silent '100' from both sofia and samantha from the sidelines. "holy shit did you just kill him?!" masaru kawaguchi also known as the 'confused idiot' exclaims in horror, not fully understanding the predicament they were in only to get struck by a pillow which promptly launched him out of the bed, gracefully at that too. another 100 were given.

haizea aleru and varsha nakamura keep their distance from the destructive trio, choosing not to involve themselves into anymore trouble.

"WILL YOU IDIOTS STOP CAUSING A RUCKUS AND GO TO SLEEP?! ITS FUCKING MIDNIGHT!!!"

one of their 'neighbours' hollered from below, instantly freezing everyone. oh shit, they had forgotten that they weren't the only ones on the ship.

a little flashback into the morning the day before-

"what's taking him so long?! its fucking 5 in the morning and im pissed!" north exclaims impatiently, banging his fists on the table he along with the others were in, bed hair still untouched. "true that, essam is way later than usual. i wonder what's the big deal." masaru agrees. "dunno, maybe another mission?" ben suggests, earning collective groans from everyone in the room. they had just returned from a mission a few hours ago and gone to bed only to be rudely woken up by an oddly energetic essam early in the morning, and not everyone was trying to hide their displeasure. as varsha opens her mouth to add in some sarcastic comment, she was immediately interrupted by the loud bang of a door being slammed open and in struts their god forsaken teacher/babysitter.

"oh my god im so sorry for being later kiddos but i met a tiny little kitten on my way here and-"

"yeah yeah we know you fell in love with it and tried to adopt it unsuccessfully, again." north drawls whilst rolling his eyes. essam finger guns him earning an incoherent grunt from the male.

"so what's all this about teach?" ben questions, round blue eyes staring at the man curiously.

the manchild immediately coughs thrice to maintain his composure as a teacher(as if it wasn't already lost) and begins. "so... since you guys have been working hard a lot these days we decided to give ya little ones a temporary leave!" for a few seconds no one in the room moved, trying to process the unbelievable words they just heard as essam expectantly looks at them, hoping to get the appropriate response he wanted.

"A VACATION?!"

everyone collectively exclaim with a mixture of differnet emotions like disbelief, joy, relief etc. essam sweatdrops a little, trying to regain his hearing after the defeaning noise of their collective screams left his ears ringing.

"indeed! we will be going on a trip to an island in the pacific ocean and the ship we will be boarding will depart in the next two hours so ya'll better pack your stuff and get ready!"

andddd that's how the notorious divsion 13 found themselves abroad on the most expensive cruise ship in the world.

"oh shit i forgot all about the time and tomorrow's meeting- everyone time to go to sleep so get your sorry asses into your bed right now!" essam gasps before regaining his composure and immediately commanding all his students to get to bed. "oh gee we were waiting for you to say that." varsha snorts. none of the students were excited about their meeting tomorrow(or today's cause its midnight rn-) with a bunch of fellow heros who'd join them on their trip to the island.

he waves her comment off with a shrug and jumps into his own bed, before switching off the lights with a snap of his fingers letting darkness befall on the room, with the students still on their way to the beds. a bunch of groans and low cursing could be heard in the dark as they didn't raise their voices this time, fearing the collective rage of their supposed neighbors.

'i wonder what shenanigans they will come up with tomorrow." essam thinks as he closes his eyes and eventually drifts off to sleep, not knowing how this was going to be the last time they'd sleep with peace.

so how was it? the first chapter i mean, good? bad? excellent? please do tell- past i wrote this within a span of an hour cause my boi motivation here finally decided to help me get my sorry and lazy arse off and get to work lmao.

im sorry if i didn't represent your characters personalities perfectly or give them enough screen time, this chapter just served as a purpose to introduce them all at once, so please don't kill me.
