Character Synopsis:
Natalie Blair Black was a shapeshifter who could turn into a wolf—literally.

On the day that she was born to Daniel Hale and Cora Solace, Natalie had unintentionally took a portion of her mother's power when she was born and that was all Cora needed to grow a resentment towards her daughter; for taking away her strength—her power. Fearful for his daughter's life, Daniel took Natalie and ran off, putting her up for adoption in order to keep her safe where Natalie was adopted by Byron and Veronica Black, who raised her as their own alongside their other daughter Rebecca.

Everything in her life was fine. In fact, everything was perfect, until the night of the full moon.

On the night of the full moon, Natalie was driving home with her family when she could feel her bones painfully snapping into place as the shift was starting to happen for the first time and when her parents started panicking while trying to figure out what was happening, her father lost control of the car and crashed into a parked car. Due to the full moon and having no idea of her supernatural heritage, Natalie lost control of herself and the moment she shifted into her wolf form, she ended up attacking her family where she sent her sister into a coma while her parents, by a miracle, survived their injuries before she ran off.

By the time that the full moon was over, Natalie had shifted back to normal and woke up to find herself hidden next to a dumpster in an alleyway, completely bared with no memory of what happened. After managing to find some old clothes in the dumpster, she ran off to find her family and discovered the accident's site where her family's car was and upon seeing the blood, she panicked and ran to the hospital with hope that her family could be alive still. The hospital was where she found her parents at, but their reaction to her was one that she wasn't expecting.

Her father had two large bite marks in his sides, her mother had a large bite mark on her right shoulder, and her sister was in a coma.

The moment that they saw her, Natalie was confused when she learnt that it was her fault that they were in the hospital—for her sister being in the coma, but then turned heartbroken when her parents called her a abomination and yelled at her for her to leave for good—that they wanted nothing from or to do with her.

In guilt and hurt, Natalie ran away but with no where else to go, she lived out on the streets where she sometimes broke into the city's library at night just to catch a few seconds of sleep or to do some research on what she was—that was how she discovered what she was.

A freak, a mutant, a monster, and an abomination.

That's what she is.

At least, that's what she thought, until she meets another shapeshifter—just like her.

Cora holds a resentment towards her since Cora believes that Natalie stole her power when she was born and as an attempt to try to get it back, Cora was planning to kill her. However, her plan didn't go as planned since Daniel had ran off with Natalie, putting her up for adoption in hopes of keeping her hidden away from her mother.

Henry Hart - paternal older half-brother. Although they share the same father, their relationship starts off as a little awkward at first but due to their struggles with their supernatural heritage, Natalie and Henry start to grow closer to the point where the two become very close and Natalie feels she gained a similar bond that she once had with her sister but now with her brother as she knows that she can rely on her brother.

David Hale - biological uncle. Natalie and David are enemies due to the fact that David, who is the current [soon-to-be former] alpha, uses his power to control his fellow pack members, but also because David is plotting to kill Henry Hart because of how the potential and power he has.

Clarissa Hale - decreased biological aunt. This relationship is unknown since Natalie did not get the chance to meet her.

Derek Hale - biological cousin. At first glance, Natalie and Derek are unsure of how to act around the other due to the fact that Natalie is still getting used to being a part of the supernatural life while Derek has no idea how to help her. Eventually, over time, the two slowly start to bond and will often work together to complete tasks necessary to the safety of themselves and their pack.

Natalie is also the first one that Derek [along with his brother] goes to for help on taking down his father in order to stop him from going after his cousin and her brother, Henry Hart.

Scott Hale - biological cousin. At first glance, Natalie and Scott are unsure of how to act around the other due to the fact that Natalie is still getting used to being a part of the supernatural life while Scott has no idea how to help her. Eventually, over time, the two slowly start to bond and will often work together to complete tasks necessary to the safety of themselves and their pack.

Byron Black - adoptive father. Natalie was a Daddy's Little Girl before she shifted but after the incident, her relationship will Byron is destroyed when he sees her as an abomination and kicks her out to the streets.

Veronica Black - adoptive mother. Natalie had a natural bond with her mother where she would go to her for advice but after the incident, her relationship with Veronica is destroyed when she sees her as a freak and kicks her out to the streets.

Rebecca "Becca" Black - adoptive older sister. Natalie was very close with her sister but after the incident and discovering that she was responsible for putting her sister into a coma, Natalie ran away out of guilt and secretly visits her sister at the hospital when she knows that her parents are out.

Physical Appearance:
Natalie is short, attractive, and athletic woman. She has blond hair in a short-bob cut and brown-hazel eyes. She is seen wearing a flannel shirt, neutral-toned skinny jeans, and brown boots.

Personality:
Due to living out on the streets, Natalie has became very capable of taking care of herself. However, after the incident, she became very afraid of herself and every night on the full moon, she sneaks over to the docks when she knows it's empty and hides out in an abandoned warehouse till the next morning since she cannot control her supernatural heritage.

Another thing that living out on the streets has caused her was for Natalie to become very guarded of herself and closed off since putting up walls so that way, she wouldn't develop personal relationships, whether romantic or platonic, with anyone. Therefore, it takes a while for Natalie to get used to being part of a family again and making those connections after meeting Henry and the others. She can also be very blunt sometimes and doesn't understand social cues that well.

Despite the fact that she is intelligent, Natalie struggles in subjects like math and history. She is caring, kindhearted, caring, loyal, trustworthy, and Natalie also hates being lied to. Another thing about Natalie is that she doesn't sugarcoat her feelings so, if she doesn't like someone then, she will make it obvious that she doesn't.

After the incident with her adoptive family, Natalie continues to blame herself and carry a lot of guilt for what happened and due to this, she refuses to learn how to control her supernatural heritage since she's afraid of being the monster that she believes she is. It takes her a while to learn how to control it and to fully embrace it.

Eventually, Natalie will grow into a confident, self-assured, and intelligent woman who trusts not just herself and her instincts but her family/pack unconditionally. She becomes better at reading people and there are a few occasions where she'll respond with violence rather than communication if she gets angry enough.

• Wolf Physiology: Due to being a shapeshifter, Natalie has super strength, speed, agility/reflexes, durability, senses, healing, and shapeshifting. However, she is not stronger than her older half-brother since Henry is more stronger and faster than her under a specific reason.

• Super Strength: This ability is common in all shapeshifters. However, due to stealing her mother's power, Natalie is far stronger than an average shapeshifter and is likely the second strongest, compared to Henry.

• Super Senses: Due to her supernatural heritage, Natalie's senses; smell, hearing, eyesight, taste, and touch have all been heightened. However, like Henry, her hearing is extremely sensitive to loud sounds.

• Martial arts/hand-to-hand combat training: Natalie is trained in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat training by Henry in cases like a lunar eclipse or if she ever has to defend herself without relying on her supernatural heritage.

Her Weaknesses:
• Electricity: It can weaken or kill her depending on the voltage.

• Wolfsbane: It can weaken or kill her depending on the potency, strain, and method of exposure. However, in order for all shapeshifters to get Wolfsbane out of their system before it can do any damage, it must be burned out of their system.

• Full Moon: Natalie is somewhat vulnerable to the full moon and her heightened emotions but when she learns how to fully control her supernatural heritage, this no longer affects her. However, all shapeshifters are vulnerable to the lunar eclipse during the period when the moon is in the Earth's umbral shadow, which causes all shapeshifters to lose their powers, including their super strength, healing, and shapeshifting abilities.
