IVY LOVE DOHERTY RECKONED SHE WAS CURSED. Her middle name was a word that was tied to what was deemed the most beautiful thing in the world yet she had felt so little of it.
Her father was an arsehole who couldn't seem to care about anything other than himself, her mother- she had left before Ivy could even walk and boys only seemed to want her for what was under her clothes.

She'd grown up running around the streets of a council estate and sitting in the pub on the weekends with her Da. Ivy had always found it strange, not
