MAGNOLIA WAS GIGGLING WITH EXCITEMENT.
She never really got to do pranks with Harry before, and it was a lot more fun than she anticipated. She was only really the mastermind behind the Weasley twin's pranks and gave them crazy ideas. When they decided to drop out of Hogwarts and the evil frog-faced witch - Dolores Umbridge - came, they asked Mags to come with them. It was an in-the-moment type of question, but they loved Maggie like another younger little sister and wanted them to continue their prank life with her with the joke shop.
She was someone they took quite fond of. She was really quiet but always rolled her eyes at the random annoying pricks in the halls, even hexing some people who would bully others to just be mean. And when they found out she was the one that made a cocky rude Ravenclaw skin turn different colors that corresponded with his moods - they were immediately eager to figure out how she did it and get to know her.
Harry wasn't a prankster in Hogwarts - always worrying over things that were practically trying to kill him.
"We first need to cast an igniting spell all around, so once we cast it fully on just one part, it'll spread everywhere," Magnolia whispers, noticing the confused looks between Harry and Regulus
"Never mind, I'll do that," She mutters, no longer needing her wand to shine a light since the sun is coming back up.
Once James, Sirius, and Peter left with Remus into the forbidden forest, Mags, Harry, and Regulus decided to follow them into the Shrieking Shack. They wanted to leave the castle before a professor caught them and gave one of them a detention for the prank that had the marauders written all over it.
They decided to stay until Remus's headache began to worsen, and the full moon was rising. But he was entirely grateful this time would be different because now he'll be safer this time. Thanks to Magnolia, of course, for making the wolfsbane perfectly, or else that would've been a complete disaster.
But Magnolia, Harry, and Regulus left once the marauders transformed into their animagus forms, and the full moon began to show. Remus immediately wanted them to leave so they couldn't see the painful, heart-wrenching werewolf transformation.
So the three left - but oddly, Regulus and Harry insisted that they wait for the full moon to pass and the sunrise to come up before proceeding with their final prank. Their reasons were wanting everyone to wake up to it, and it would be more fun. Magnolia didn't question it, though, looking more into the fact that the marauders could all see it for when the night passed over.
So passing the time, they took a few hour naps in the Gryffindor common room. Then, they were woken up by Marlene and Lily - making them quickly exit out of the common room to plan and prosecute their prank... Much to the two girls' confusion but at this point, they didn't question it - not even Lily, knowing she was in for something big because she knew about the "one last good day" thing they planned with the boys.
"Eh screw it. Let's blow it up and call it a day." Regulus suggests, making the couple furrow their eyebrows at the younger Black brother. "The worst case scenario is the death penalty-"
"Or expelled." It was Regulus's turn to look at the two oddly, both saying that unusual punishment in unison.
"Sorry, it's just this friend-" Harry stuttered, blushing of embarrassment coating his cheeks as Magnolia awkwardly laughed.
"She was strict about getting into trouble, and we were always around her, we're now convinced being expelled is worse than death."
"Yeah, that-" Harry mutters, slyly pointing at Magnolia, who smiles at Reg before chuckling awkwardly as he slowly nods.
"Got it - okay, so what first?"
"Let's flood this place,"
It took them forever to spell the halls and then for the finishing - they practically flooded the halls with water before bubbling it all up. Bubble juice - everywhere. It wasn't deep. It was two feet high, but the thick, coating bubbles made it a bit higher. Then, when the students try to force themselves out of their common rooms and professors leave their chambers with their extremely heavy doors - they're gonna be met with thick water and soapy bubbles.
Oh, how the chaos is so soon - the trio could taste the beauty of it all. But for a little more sugar on top... They cast a spell for when any door opens - a pouring rain comes anywhere from the ceiling. But it's water that would disappear into the water or ground, so it doesn't cause more of a flood than there already is.
It was harmless, but there were probably gonna be criers that had makeup running down their faces and hair ruined... But hopefully, others find joy in it and enjoy the water and bubbles that won't burn your eyes.
And those currently having joy with it, were none other than Harry and Maggie.
It was only a matter of time before students and professors started getting up for breakfast and classes, so they enjoyed their prank before it was taken away from them.
"Oh my - Har, look at me!" Maggie exclaims, making him turn to face her to see her with a big white bubbly soap beard.
"Merlin, I can't believe this worked without professors and prefects seeing!" Harry noted with a laugh, coming up in front of Magnolia.
The water was a little below her knees, but she was drenched from the waist down. She was wet from her kicking and excitedly running through the water. She was still wearing her uniform, her high-waisted dark grey short skirt with a white button-up and her Gryffindor tie loosely around her neck. Her hair was down and long, barely wet with a few bubbles all along herself.
Harry was drenched from head to toe - accidentally falling on his back, right into the water earlier. He had discarded the tie a long time ago and was only in black pants and white collared shirt sleeves, his glasses hanging on to his face for dear life.
She looks at him with a twinkle in her eyes, and a playful mischievous grin on her face as he approaches her. He gives her a sly smirk before using his hands to wipe away all the soapy beard from her face.
"You're beautiful," He whispers, making her face immediately flush and try to look away. He chuckles, making her raise her head back up by his finger to her chin.
"You're pretty," She tells him in a low tone, not so subtly looking at his lips.
At the compliment, Harry's face flushed before closing the gap between them by pressing his lips passionately on hers. She chuckles against his lips, feeling her giddiness get in the way of her trying to kiss back. He playfully scowls at her, tickling her sides, making her try to shove him away.
"Harry - no! Stop!" She squealed between laughs, shoving him away from her. But he begins to fall over, making her let out a loud laugh before squealing as he pulls her into the water with him.
"God, you arse!" She shouts, lifting her head out of the water as Harry cackles, throwing his head back.
Regulus sits on top of a wooden high dresser with his legs crisscrossed, shaking his head at the couple. He smiled, running his hand through his dry hair. He got on top of the dresser fast enough so he didn't get wet. Now watching the couple splash the soapy water everywhere.
They cast all the halls to fill with water, just not the classrooms, Great Hall, and common rooms - so when everyone pushes open the strangely very heavy door, water demolishes through the door and gets anyone near drenched with the soapy water.
They filled the halls at the exact time the prefects were finished, and the teachers no longer went through the halls. Regulus and Harry supposedly already have discussed what their escape route is - telling Maggie not to worry about it. Making her paranoid about why they're not telling her straight up. And now it was only a matter of time until the professor got up and the students were leaving their dorms.
"You dick!" She shouts, clumsily getting drenched in water as Harry sits up from the water laughing hysterically.
"Your so fucking cute." He coos, getting up and poking her nose as she glares at him and he smirks.
Before anything else occurred - lots of high-pitched screams and yelling erupted in the halls.
"MY HAIR!"
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Regulus, Harry, and Maggie all quickly looked at one another before smirking proudly.
"It's starting!" Magnolia squeals, shaking Harry's arm excitedly.
"You three, stop there!" Filch screeches, coming around the corner - half-drenched in the water he's trying to run through.
"We got to go now!" Regulus exclaims, jumping off the dresser and into the water. Not wanting to get caught yet - the three book it with Filch yelling for them to stop.
"Go, go, go!"
"Did you three do this?! Mr. Black!" Professor Beery shouts, coming around the corner the three were running towards.
"Shit" Regulus muttered as all their eyes were widening, stopping abruptly as Harry's hand tightened around Maggie's. Both the professors were coming towards them to punish them and the three were not gonna deal with that just yet.
"Oh no," Maggie whispers, seeing a bunch of complaining students about to come around the corner and the shouting of Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall to calm everything down and charm all the water and bubbles away.
"The waters are going down - they must be taking it away" Regulus whispers as Harry suddenly smirks.
"The Astronomy Tower-"
"Are you bloody crazy-"
"Come on, Reg - they'll see and get us."
"Do you believe that or are you just hoping that we won't die?" Magnolia furrowed her eyebrows at the two's conversation.
"Whoa - what's happening?"
"Come on, love," Harry says with a smirk, ignoring Magnolia's confusion as Regulus rolls his eyes before following the couple up the stairs.
"Hurry, they can be right behind us!"
"Did you not see Filch running in that water - he's moving a foot an hour" Magnolia muttered, still utterly confused as there now is a dead end in the Astronomy Tower.
"You guys are bloody stupid - they're gonna get us now!" She retorted, hitting both the boys behind the head.
"Ow - we have a plan"
"What plan?" She asked, looking between the two - to only see them staring intently at the Tower balcony. She looks closely before widening her eyes in realization.
"You bloody hilarious - that's suicide!" She screeches as she looks down to see them clenching their wands hard in their hands.
"It's gonna work," Harry mutters - mostly to himself as Regulus nods. She stares at the two dumbfounded and scoffs.
"Hell no, I don't have my wand! How-How are you - No! Just no, you guys aren't jumping!"
"Do you trust us? Me?" Harry asked, looking at her with a small hidden smirk. She looked into his eyes longingly and a headache began to form as the anxiety skyrocketed in her.
"I don't like heights" She whispers, making Regulus place a hand on her shoulder.
"Me neither-"
"Detention for all three of you!" Filch shouts from the stairs, making all their hearts jolt.
"You know we could die before even hitting the ground?" Maggie asks as the boys shrug and hold out their wands.
"Well let's hope we won't die" Regulus mutters before suddenly running in a sprint and jumping right off the balcony-
"REGULUS!" Magnolia shouts, horrified as Harry interlocks his hand with hers.
"Our turn-"
"Hell no - I'm wearing a skirt!" She scowls, trying to find excuses not to jump since she was wearing black spandex shorts under her skirt - never trusting just to wear underwear in a school that had a bunch of hormonal boys. She's gone through the worst, so she knows now, that wearing shorts under skirts is the best thing you could do to avoid embarrassment.
"Come on, do you want to deal with getting yelled at, right now?"
"You know, detention doesn't sound so bad," She whispers as Harry starts pulling her to the edge.
"YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO GO!" Filch shouts from just around the corner, making Harry raise an eyebrow at Maggie, and she lets out a loud groan.
"I hate you so much."
"I love you more." With a slight tug - Magnolia screamed her head off as the pair jumped off the balcony.
