"OW - YOU ASSHOLE!" Maggie hisses quickly with a flinch away from Harry as he chuckles, making her roll her eyes at the immature boy helping her.

They had gotten her in a pair of his sweats - which was her favorite thing to wear from his closet, even though they were huge on her. But anyway, once she slipped on his sweats after the bath, he had to start wrapping bandages around her chest while she sat on top of the sink. Just for something to apply some pressure on the gashes in her back.

"Oh quit fussing, you big baby," He says, kissing her cheek as he goes back to wrapping the bandage tightly around her breast.

"Oh shut it - you're all giddy now because you get to feel up my boobs," She remarks, making him let out a scoff - even though that was exactly why he was intently staring at her breast and watching the way the bandages squishes her breast to her chest with the wrapping.

"Pfft no" He scoffs, finishing up the wrapping and making sure the wrapping stays tight around her chest. She gives him a deadpan look as his hand rises to squeeze her left boob.

"Harry!" She scowls, hitting his chest as he lets out a loud laugh, making her giggle. Once finished and making sure the wrappings were firm around her wound, he rested his hands on the counter by her sides.

"When are we getting married?" She asks, wrapping her arms around his neck, and pulling him closer against her. His hands rest on her hips before smoothing his palms up and down her sides.

"At this point... I don't even know. " She scrunched her lips in a pout, resting her head on his shoulder as he pressed wet kisses on her bare shoulder.

"We'll get out of this." She whispers, making him nod as he starts running his hand through her now long soft white-gold hair.

"I like your hair long." He muttered, making her hum in agreement. They took a few minutes to just hold one another since they were exhausted. For the past week and a half, they've had to deal with avoiding their parents... And then accidentally telling them they were from the future... And then having to explain certain things to them... Then, having to deal with Dumble-bitch - and then turning full on Veela.

They hadn't had times like this since Hogwarts - where everything was happening so quickly and violently, it was getting exhausting altogether. They haven't had good sleep since they got here - being on edge about everything that speaks or moves here. And they hope once they get out of the bathroom, they won't be bombarded with questions from the marauders.

But just in case they do, Harry and Maggie took this small moment to hold each other and relax.

She engulfed his warm skin against hers, feeling the coolness radiate on his warm skin. He held her tightly with his arms around her waist, his head craned in her neck - once in a while peppering soft kisses. His warm body cooled her cold pale skin once against each other. They didn't want to let go of this moment, they wanted to stay in each other's arms forever.

They were both scared if they let go - there would be no more of these moments together.

Scared when they go back to the year, 2000 - they're not together anymore. Afraid that they'll go back and they're not getting married. Possibly being strangers - or even worse, one exists while the other isn't. Or neither is born.

They prayed to themselves that their time was somewhat the same - and the only difference was that everyone they loved was there at their wedding, watching her father, Remus Lupin, give her away to Harry Potter. With their family and friends - all alive and well, watching.

"When we go back home... We'll still be together, right?" Harry asks softly, making her bite down on her bottom lip so as not to allow any tears to fall. Maggie sniffles softly, hugging him tighter as he presses a long kiss on her temple.

"Right?" He asks in a whisper, desperately wanting the sweet voice he was addicted to, to speak words to comfort him. She pulls away from him, cradling his face in her palms. He looks at her with his teary green eyes piercing her icy blue ones.

She leans forward and barely touches her lips with his. He closes his eyes in bliss, feeling her soft pink plump lips touch his and her soft hands caressing his cheeks. She keeps her eyes hazily open, watching his features relax but furrow. She smiles, bringing her tongue to brush his dark pink lips. He opens his mouth to catch her tongue with his, pressing their lips together.

Her lips were teasing him, making him let out a playful growl and she chuckled as his hand gripped her thigh tightly. The kiss grew deep, their hands exploring their bodies and tongues battling for dominance. They were putting so much emotion into each other - pain, love, and anger. They were absolutely - inevitably in love with each other.

Their love was so ethereal. So delicate, so light - too perfect. They understood one another. They've seen each other during their worst moments and still fell hopelessly in love.

They've laughed-

They've cried...

That was the beauty of Magnolia Lupin and Harry Potter.

They were all that they had left (except their friends and Teddy, of course). It was like nothing could keep them apart because of that.

"Soulmates will always end up together," Maggie reassured, pulling away from his lips. She traced her thumbs on his lips as his eyes fluttered to meet hers. "No matter how much love was lost, and no matter how much distance there is..."

"You lose each other to find each other again" Harry whispered, bringing a smile across both their faces as they both spoke of a quote from the first book they read together back when they were dating in Hogwarts.

"That is what it is like when someone is meant for you; if they leave - no matter what - they will return and stay forever"

"Guys, James and Remus are back with snacks." They heard Peter tell them from outside the bathroom door. The couple sighed, getting cut off and out of their lovesick trance with each other.

"We should go..." Maggie whispers, bringing a pout on both their faces since neither wants to step out that door.

"Okay, just one more kiss" He whispers with a smirk, making her let out a small chuckle. But to his disappointment, she gives him a small peck before patting his chest, not allowing him to deepen or continue her small peck.

"Okay, let's go!" She expresses, an innocent smile plastered on her face. She jumps off the counter making him huff - eyes filled with annoyance.

"You've been a tease this whole time!" He complains, making her raise an eyebrow.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Auror," She says sweetly, making him smirk and raise his eyebrow with a look of mischievousness.

"Damn, I need you all to myself one of these days." He mutters, making her softly chuckle as he opens the door to let her out first.

"Oh thank god - I thought you died!" James exclaims, rushing to Maggie's side and crashing her into a bone-crushing hug.

"Ow - Ow! James, my back!" She shouts as he quickly pulls away, apologizing.

"Sorry." He whispers, holding his hands to his chest as he looks down at the girl wearily. She gives him a small reassuring smile, stretching out her back with a grimace. Remus comes beside them, trying to force a smile on his face - but it quickly falters when he sees the two bloody spots on her back, from under the thick bandages around her chest.

It struck Remus's heart to see Magnolia's blood - even though it was being healed and only just neatly wrapped, there was going to be some excess blood. Her bandages were thick from around her collarbone and to her mid-torso, with obviously Harry's sweatpants hanging low on her hips.

Remus couldn't bring himself to say anything, so he stayed quiet until Maggie turned towards him - shielding her back away from him.

"I'm okay, I promise." She whispers, bending down just a little to try to catch his eyes as he stares at the ground. She catches him, making her sit up - forcing him to sit up with her and not break eye contact.

"Dad... I'm okay." She reassured, making him slightly nod and she sighed. Harry and James glanced at one another, catching the small interaction between the father and daughter with a smile.

"You guys said you were getting snacks?" Harry asks, making Maggie's frown turn into an excited grin. Remus's eyes seemed to brighten and showed her the snacks they had gotten and placed on their bed.

Harry and James stayed put by each other and sighed at the same time. They both chuckled at that before James looked down and kicked the carpet under his feet.

"Harry?" James asked, making his son beside him hum in response.

"I know you probably don't want to talk about what happened today... But can I just ask..." Before he fully came to the rest of the sentence, he cleared his throat as Harry looked at him with furrowed, curious eyebrows.

"Who took care of you when me and Lily... Died?" He asks, making Harry take a sharp breath. James didn't know if he was gonna ask this question today - or ever really. But his mind - at this point - was doing its own thing. He just needed to know who took care of his son his whole life because his childhood seemed pretty bloody terrible. Just hearing Maggie describe it as an "abusive household", quickly infuriated him. It couldn't have been Sirius, James knows Sirius, he would have been the best goddamn guardian ever for Harry. And Remus, it couldn't have been him who gave him an "abusive household", it just doesn't make sense who raised him horribly.

"Well, Sirius was my godfather - correct?"

"Yeah."

"Well, he was kind of not in the state to take me in... So Dumbledore forced me under the residence of the Dursleys since Aunt Petunia was the last family I had... Alive." James's eyes widened - whispering the name, Petunia, to himself in his head for a few seconds. Before freezing and realizing.

Petunia Evans...

Lily's sister.

Lily's sister was the one who made her nephew, her sister's son... She raised Harry and was the "home" Harry lived and was raised in - which was described as an abusive household.

He couldn't believe it. He did know where Petunia's heart is with wizards and witches - she despised them when she was refused by Dumbledore to go to Hogwarts with her sister since she didn't hold the magical abilities like her younger sister.

"W-What did they do?" James asked, his arms crossed over his chest in a serious stance. The two watched Maggie and Remus rummage through the snacks on her bed, making the two smile softly at that.

"Lived under the stairs for most of my life...In a closet. My windows had cages on the outside of them, somewhat like a prisoner... I cooked and cleaned - and they despised me for being a wizard and every year they'd try to keep me locked up so I couldn't go to Hogwarts." Harry stated - at this point... He felt there was a need now just to tell them almost everything. Not to make them feel bad, just to warn them and the possible things that have cursed them.

But he did feel bad for being blunt about it, and sort of flinched and cringed to himself by the words flying out of his mouth. Harry didn't care about talking about his childhood, he knew it was bad and never wanted to experience it again but he liked to joke and tell others it was almost like "building" his character. If that hadn't happened, he wouldn't be where he is today - when he says that, funnily, it gets quite a reaction out of people.

James looked at him, his eyes wide in horror. He honestly wanted to go into the future so he could hex that damn "family" he married into. Now he knows what he's going to do if they come to his and Lily's wedding. A good 'pep talking' per se.

And probably never letting their baby Harry near them. Ever.

"How'd you get to Hogwarts?"

"First year - Hagrid and the Weasley's helped me. And the second year, me and Ronald Weasley - my best friend, flew a car there because we missed the train-"

"Woah, woah - You guys flew a car... To Hogwarts?" James asks with an excited grin, making Harry grin proudly and nod.

"You should have seen the Howler Ron got from his mum, Molly - It was bloody hilarious!" Harry exclaims, making James only imagine.

"Ronald Weasley! How dare you steal that car! I am absolutely disgusted! Your father's facing inquiry at work, and it's entirely your fault!" Harry mimicked, trying to match the same tone Molly Weasley used during their second year of Hogwarts in the Great Hall.

"I remember Molly Prewett - she was a sight for sore eyes-" Harry looked at his father in disgust, biting his tongue.

"Did you fancy Molly? Dad, she's ten years older than you-"

"So? I'm just saying, if she was the same age as me - your mother might have been Molly." James remarks, making Harry make a vomit noise come out of his mouth. James suddenly froze, realizing Harry had just called him dad for the first time.

"I can't believe my father had a crush on my best mate's mother," Harry muttered, making them let out an identical laugh.

Since they've been here, Harry and James hadn't talked like Remus and Maggie. It was more because of all the hectic things that's been happening. It made James slightly chuckle, remembering how he was so certain he wasn't related to James.

"It was a bloody surprise she ended up with Arthur Weasley though, her brothers are a year above us and his brothers are here too. While she just had her third kid and is now pregnant with twins."

"Guess you lost your shot," Harry remarked, as James bites his inner cheek to hide his grin. He looks at Harry curiously, finding it still bewildering that he's his child from the future.

"I remember when we first saw you guys - The boys were so sure I was related to you somehow but I was like-"

"Me and Harry aren't related! I promise!" James says, mocking himself - from not even a while ago. Harry chuckled, shaking his head and running his hand through his messy dark brown hair.

"As you know... Growing up, I never really had a father..." Harry says, nervously playing with the ends of his hair while James's eyes are saddened but he nods.

"Usually my father figures were my best mate dad or in a way, Hagrid... And Remus and Sirius when I met them... And I've always wondered what type of person you were because growing up, I was always told I had my mother's - Lily's, eyes-" James quickly fixated his eyes on Harry's, his hazel eyes catching Harry's green eyes.

And of course... they were most definitely Lily's green eyes.

"I grew up with people telling me I had my mother's eyes and I never once have been told any similarities between me and you. And in a way that scared me... But when I met Remus and Sirius, when I was around them - they always stopped to stare and I think it was because they saw you for a second. They saw their best mate, their brother." Harry stopped for a second, taking a deep shaky breath, and he looked at James. James's eyes were a bit teary as he almost stared at his son - practically his reflection. Harry was him but with enchanting green eyes.

"Sirius's last words to me were... 'Nice one James!' " Harry quickly whispered, before cupping his hand over his mouth and tried masking his sob.

"I always hated not having someone to call dad... But in a way, I kind of do now... Even though you're a few years younger than me right now." He says, trying to brighten the mood, but James doesn't laugh and only looks at Harry longingly.

James was breaking down inside. He never knew what it felt like, to lose his parents or anything drastically terrible. And it made James realize some things and want to start acting out good. He hates seeing the things Sirius goes through with his family - Remus's lycanthropy and Peter's nervous ticks and bullying. And now he finds out about his son, who had a terrible childhood. And he doesn't want that at all.

"I promise, I'm gonna fix everything," James says certainly, looking deep into Harry's eyes. A single tear fell down James's cheek and Harry saw it, biting back his own tears.

James Potter was one for being a bit emotional about things - the dramatic man he is, it was understandable. But during serious situations, when he's the one that wants to problem solve and take action about something this serious... He tries not to allow his emotions to overtake him because he thinks it's pointless to cry when he should be taking action instead of crying about it.

James and Harry smiled warmly at one another, grateful for each other's presence.

And for the first time in forever - Harry Potter got an actual hug from his father, James Potter.
