( blood!!! and painful veela transformation!!! )

"DO I AND LILY GET A DIVORCE and that's why I'm not much in Harry's life?!" James exclaims horrified, rubbing his hands furiously over his face.

"No James, don't think that-"

"Did you not hear what he said?!" He shouts at Sirius, sitting up from his bed with an angry glare, immediately getting a stern look from Remus.

"He said- ' that doesn't mean you were around, so don't think the whole dad thing is going to work ' word for word! I'm not in my son's life, Padfoot!" Sirius sighs, plopping down on the bed beside Peter.

After the encounter, James tried going after Harry - still utterly confused. But again, Harry snapped. Telling James to leave him alone and he's busy trying to find Maggie. Making James throw a huge tantrum and go to his room, making the other confused marauders follow him.

So they are in their dorm now, James standing rambling and questioning, why the hell did Harry say that to him. Sirius and Peter were sitting on the bed, just as confused but trying to console James from thinking of worse things that could happen to him in the future. While Remus was leaning against the wall by the windowsill, looking out the window in silence.

He saw Maggie sitting against a large tree by the water, reading a book. It was difficult to fully see her since she was on the ground and he was in the Gryffindor tower - obviously. But he knew it was her.

He debated to go and tell Harry he found her, thinking James's son hadn't found her yet. But he decided not to say anything.

"I'm gonna be right back," He says, looking one last time at his daughter from the window and pushing himself off the wall.

"Where are you going?" Peter asks as the two others look at Moony, who is walking to the door.

"I just need some fresh air" He mutters, quickly leaving the room with no more words.

"Why do people feel the need to go outside, when there's air already inside?!" James exclaims, quickly becoming muffled as Remus slams the door shut.

He made his way outside in a hurry, holding his brown coat tight around him. It was chilly outside with it being rainy season but that was Scotland almost 24/7 if it wasn't winter. Currently, it was just always very foggy and muggy.

He saw Magnolia sitting there against a tree, her gaze looking down at her book with her knees bent. She no longer was wearing his sweater, wearing a black fitted long-sleeve and a pair of blue jeans but then she had a black puffer coat over her lap.

"Maggie?" Remus asked, making her head snap up. Her eyes meet his and she forces a smile, picking at the pages of her book.

"Whatcha reading?" He asks, crouching down and sitting beside her against the tree. She showed him the cover, revealing a muggle book - Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott.

"I know that book, my mother would read it to me when I was younger. She tells me now that she read it to me to grow up to naturally be a feminist" He says with a small laugh, making her smile softly and look down at her book.

"This is my favorite book, you used to read it to me when I was younger too," She tells him, making his lips curve into a smile. He watches as her expression stays neutral and soft. Though, clearly she looked like she had a lot on her mind. Remus bit the inside of his cheek and nudged his shoulder with hers.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" She quickly mutters, making him chuckle. She looked at him and raised her eyebrows, a small smile appearing on her face.

"Something's clearly on your mind - Just tell me, I promise I won't tell," He says with a teasing grin, making her chuckle and shake her head.

"I... Just everything, I guess..." She mutters, making him nod understandingly.

"Can I ask you something?" He asks, turning himself and facing her on the grass. She nods, pursing her lips and looking at him as he keeps his gaze on his lap.

"In the future... Do we all..." He finally brought himself to look into her blue eyes and sighed.

"Did we all die way before your engagement with Harry?"

"What-" She immediately forced out a fake laugh, trying to hide the pain in her eyes. "W-Why would you think that?"

"Maggie..." He whispers, making her stick out her bottom lip as it quivered. She looked into his eyes and let out a stuttered breath, looking down at her and back to him. Only sucking in her bottom lip and sobbing out a small cry.

"I'm sorry" She whispered, tearing her gaze away from him and letting a few tears fall as she looked down at her lap.

He knew it. Everything was starting to come together, like finally finishing a 4000-piece puzzle after finding the very last piece hidden underneath you. It made everything make a little sense.

It was just the way she first reacted when seeing them all. It was at the time he didn't know she was his daughter from the future in the hall a week ago when the boys and he came from sneaking snacks from kitchens after detention. She almost looked petrified to see them and was possibly gonna break down right then and there. That's why it felt so wrong for Remus to interrogate her like James and Sirius wanted to. She really did look like she was going to cry.

But then after finding out, they're from the future and they're their kids, it only made sense that's why she acted that way. And then she always tried avoiding them and such. Because realistically, if you saw your parents in the past and they were younger and everything - you wouldn't want to cry or something - it'd be more confusing and spark possible curiosity...

But Harry was confused and curious towards the marauders. This confused Remus a little because he didn't react the same way as Maggie when he saw us or even his father, James. He was confused, awestruck, and curious. And with Lily too, his mother, he was so fascinated and didn't have much of a reaction close to Maggie's.

Which could possibly only mean...

"You and Harry have never - really met James and Lily, have you?" He asks in a whisper as she picks up her head, sniffling a bit as she brushes off her knees.

"The last time I saw them... Was when I was 1, Halloween night... And they hosted a small party for me, you, and Sirius" He watches her with a small sad smile as she looks out at the water.

"They... They were in hiding... F-From the dark lord" His eyes widened and she leaned her back fully against the tree, looking up at the leaf branches above her.

"W-what..." He shudders out as she merely ignores his reaction and continues the story.

"I could never remember this day clearly but I know we had a great time. And as ironic as it was, you dressed me as Little Red Riding Hood and you dressed as the big bad wolf in the grandma's gown and everything." She says with a small laugh, gritting her teeth as she tries so desperately not to cry even more.

"And Sirius was dressed as Danny from Grease, James forced Harry into a baby deer costume while James and Lily dressed up as Daphne and Fred from Scooby Doo"

"Let me guess, James was Daphne and Lily was Fred?" He asks as Maggie nods with them both laughing, he was trying to busy his mind from the topic of the Dark Lord. She watched his expressions and how his eyebrows were creased and he had to force his laughs.

She knew she shouldn't have said that but maybe this was what she was supposed to do. Tell them almost everything to warn them of such things so they can read into everything better and protect everything from the dark lord so he can't destroy what's to come.

"D-Dad?" She asks, making his head snap up and look at her with wide eyes. He still wasn't as used to knowing he had a daughter, but it wasn't uncomfortable, it was just always shocking to hear it.

"Yeah?" He spoke softly, and she rubbed her eyes before looking deep into his eyes with her blue ones.

"In the future... You guys need to trust each other and know that known of you will betray the other..."

"But we do trust each other-"

"And please, protect and be especially careful with Peter." His face paled but nodded quickly as her face was set and serious. She meant it.

She only says that because in the future, Peter was the one who betrayed them all. And it was only because he wanted to live, showing his selfishness and disloyalty at the core of his being. He needs to be watched and careful with.

"I don't want... What happened... To happen again." She whispers, grabbing his hands shakily and holding them close. He looked at their intertwined hands and looked back at her.

"What I and Harry went through... Trust me, we wished so bad it would have gone better..."

"I'm so sorry, Mags" He whispers, making her shake her head and a small sob erupts from her throat.

"Don't be... Please don't be."

Tears began to swell in Remus's eyes, and he let out a choked sob. Godrics, he had no idea what to do. But what she was saying was like crying out for help - wanting so much more for the future. Remus knew he was gonna die someday but knowing he's never got to see his only daughter get married?

And of course, not only that but - having an idea of the things she's suffered through.

It must have been bloody hell. And wishing for a better future was just horrid erupting in Remus's mind. He wanted so desperately to know how to change things for her. But he didn't know how - only knowing to keep an eye out on Peter.

But was that enough?

Would he be able to save him and his best mate's life?

Would he be alive and well, giving his daughter away at her wedding to James's son?

Will he see Sirius, Lily, and James sitting close and saving him a seat after giving Maggie away to Harry?

"Tell me, please - Tell me what I can do" Remus pleads, squeezing her hands as she purses her lips to stop her crying and shrugs.

"I-I can't tell you everything, I don't know if I should-"

"Magnolia." He said sternly making her stop and she hiccupped, her blue eyes so bright with tears making them glow. His eyes strained over her vanilla gold chin lengthened hair, blue eyes, and sharp features, and sighed.

"I need to know."

Her eyes bored into his and she felt like she couldn't breathe. It was almost as if everything froze in time, awaiting her response so the future could change completely for worse or for better.

"I can't just tell you everything-"

"Yes, you can. It will tell me everything I need to do-"

"It's not that easy!" She expressed, her eyes snapping hard at his.

The problem wasn't telling him everything, she didn't know if telling him everything would give them a good or bad future.

But she just knew for her, it'd be hard to tell him all of it.

"Maggie!" Her eyes shifted off of her father's and looked behind Remus to see a stressed Harry Potter with the rest of the marauders following close behind.

"I'll talk to you later" She quickly says, packing her book in her satchel and getting up. He looked at her confused with a hint of frustration and stood with her.

"No Mags, we need to talk about this."

"Do you not understand, I can't just talk about it!" She snapped, turning towards him with her shoulders stiff.

"I don't think you understand how hard this would be to talk about!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms to her sides frustratedly.

"Then explain it-"

"I can't just explain it!" She shouted, her eyes turning into dark blue that looked almost black, the marauders and Harry stopped, hearing the shouts. Remus stared, his tousled light brown hair blowing softly through the wind. They both still had welled-up tears they were trying to push by.

"Maggie-" He tried but she let out a frustrated groan, running her hands through her hair.

"No!" She yelled, cutting him off and making him go silent.

"You don't understand how it feels!... T-To see everyone you love die!" His heart broke as he heard her last word choked from a sob.

Harry slumped his shoulders, hearing the marauders go silent behind him. She began to ramble, tears flowing down her cheeks and her emotions began to pour out all at once.

"In the beginning - I had to experience twelve years hidden away, unknowingly losing James, Lily, Sirius, and Harry at the same time!"

"I then see Sirius again only for him to stay hidden because of that oh-so-great - son of a bitch, Dumbledore! Even when he himself knew - Sirius was innocent and it was all because of that fucking rat!" Her chest heaved, and her throat began to hurt but that didn't stop her.

"And when we finally thought Harry would get out of that abusive household - Sirius dies! Killed by his own family! His own blood! And to make things so much better, a war is forced into Harry's hands! A boy - A child! And people seem to be okay with it?! Just because he was cursed at a young age - The young boy was supposed to save everyone in the world, right? And forced to get himself out of these near-death experiences by himself?!" She states sarcastically, letting out a forced laugh, only choking up a sob along with it.

"Then... Then, we have to destroy these bloody horcruxes - all of us awaiting the god-awful war about to start..." She pressed a hand to her rib in pain, clenching her teeth and shutting her eyes before looking back at him with bloodshot red eyes before the color in her eyes drained and turned black.

"And then Harry had to face the dark lord, unarmed... By himself and had to literally die!" She let out a rough cough, some blood spilling out of her lips and she held herself in pain.

"We lost so many people... Even a part of ourselves - and I can't just talk about every little detail to you because I'm still mourning! I used to cry every night because I lost you. And seeing you now kills me because I can't look at you without seeing your lifeless body burning my eyes before me."

She fell to the ground on her knees, holding her stomach. Remus's eyes widened as they all raced to her aid. They were all in shock from her words, even having tears in all their eyes.

They didn't know what exactly they were thinking at that moment. So many questions were racing in their head, it was flooding their minds that they couldn't focus on one. It all felt so unbelievable, they didn't even want to speak or glance at one another - not knowing what to think or do anymore.

Harry was in the same state. He didn't know what to do or think but avoided the other's presence at all costs. He knew Maggie didn't mean to say it all, she was mad - upset.

She finally broke.

The aching feeling that had been heavy on her chest for two years was relieved, but currently - she was in pain and her mind was set on the terrible aching pain in her shoulders and ribs. She felt like she was being burned alive, fire erupting all through her skin.

That's when Harry looked at her in realization, his eyes turning wide and taking a step back from her.

It was far too late to calm her, she was gonna turn Veela.

"Guys, step back" He demanded as they all looked at him confused.

"Guys, now!" He shouts, roughly pulling Remus away from her heaving body.

They stared at her bewildered as they heard bones cracking and her figure started to shift unsettlingly. The whole back of her shirt was completely ripped, large black wings came out of her back and she let out a last scream of pain before falling limp.

"Bloody hell..." Sirius whispers as Harry and Remus slowly get closer. Her large black wings were completely over her figure as they only heard her deep breaths.

"Love?" Harry whispers with a gulp, making her slightly shift. He saw blood under her figure and her wings as he heard her sobs.

"No, no, no - it's okay, my love" He soothed as he crouched down only as she sat up, only letting him and Remus really see from under her wings.

"M-Maggie?" Remus called, as she revealed herself to him and Harry. Both her eyes were completely black, her hair suddenly passed her shoulders, so long that it went to her hips and glowing with her nails being black and long. Tear stains on her cheeks and she looked so pained.

She didn't want this to happen and she put herself down for it.

Between the five of them, it grew silent. None of them knew what to do as she couldn't meet their eyes and flew away. The impact of her wings, made all of them fall back as their chests heaved.
