"ACID POPS"

"Does he ever change his password?" Maggie asks, tilting her head to the side in wonder. Harry chuckled at her, putting his hand behind her head and pulling her in to kiss her forehead.

They enter through, going up the small staircase and entering his office. Maggie interlocked her fingers with his, suddenly becoming silently nervous. They were going to tell him all about the Horcruxes, and hopefully see how much longer they need to stay here in 1977.

"Hey stop worrying, it'll be okay"

"How do you know I'm worrying - I'm not worrying" She quickly says, looking around at the artifacts around Dumbledore's office.

"I know you, Mrs. Potter - your hundred worrying"

"Hey, I'm not Mrs. Potter yet!" She bickered, making him scoff, and turned her around to face him by her waist.

"Yes I know, we should have gotten married like a week ago! But no, we're here, talking to our 16-year-old parents, and still are only engaged! I wanna be able to officially call you Mrs. Potter" She looked down, scrunching her lips as she blushed, making him smirk.

"You can still call me, Mrs. Potter - I like it" She mutters, playing with his tie.

"You do?" He asks in amusement, making her roll her eyes as she steps on her tippy toes and pecks his lips.

"Okay, where's the ginger beard man?" She asks, looking around as Harry longingly stares at her before setting his hands on her hips.

"I don't know, usually I'd be in here and then he'll start talking and appear out of nowhere"

Only a few seconds passed, browsing his office until the headmaster finally appeared.

"Mr. Potter and Mrs. Lupin - a pleasure to see you guys again, what brings you two here?" The tall man says, coming up beside them, making them slightly smile.

"Well, first, we have something to tell you... Something that could hopefully change the future for good" Dumbledore's lips almost quirked into a large smile but he looked at them seriously.

"Well... What is it?"

"Voldemort's weakness - the Horcruxes" His eyes widened and ushered them to sit down. He directed them to sit on a couch, across from him as he sat on another with the fireplace burning.

"A Horcrux, you say?" They nodded, and Maggie saw the way Harry grimaced a flinched. She sat up, interlocking her hand with his as she decided to continue for him.

"It's fragments that hold a soul and prevent the person - that made themselves the Horcruxes- their death. It means these objects are what keep the person alive until you break those objects. It gives the person full immortality but I'm sure you know what Horcruxes are."

"I remember now... The Horcrux is considered to be the most terrible of all dark magic" Dumbledore says, making Maggie nod, tucking a strand of short blonde hair behind her ear.

"Voldemort... He made seven for himself - he's the only one to successfully make more than one" Harry stared, clutching onto Maggie's hand as she continued, trying her absolute hardest not to stutter as her emotions felt heavy.

"So without his horcruxes, Voldemort will be a mortal man with a maimed and diminished soul?" Dumbledore asked, making Maggie and Harry nod, flicking their eyes at one another in agreement.

It felt odd to explain this to the man who was superior and high above all because he was always the one who knew all. So it made them feel a little nervous, explaining the dark magic to the headmaster of Hogwarts.

"How many Horcruxes does he have?" Now this is where things get interesting.

This time is different so there were less than seven horcruxes in 1977. Harry hasn't destroyed Tom Riddle's Diary - the first Horcrux that was destroyed unknowingly. And then the Marvolo Gaunts ring, taking it from his Uncle Morfin Gaunt.

Nagini wasn't yet a Horcrux - the snake was turned into one in 1994 after Voldemort killed Bertha Jones. But now, in 1976, he had the Rowena Ravenclaws Diadem, getting it around the 50s or 60s. Alongside the Helga Hufflepuff cup, which was turned into a Horcrux in 1946 after he murdered Hepzibah Smith. Even the most prized possession of the Gaunt family, the Salazar Slytherin locket was turned into a Horcrux after killing a homeless muggle.

"Only five now. The Salazar Slytherin locket, Helga Hufflepuff's cup, Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem, His diary, Tom Riddle's, and finally the Marvolo Gaunt ring. You must destroy them soon, because over time - he makes two more." Albus's head lifts up at the young couple, who had cold and serious faces.

"One being the snake, and the other being Harry after..." Her breath was sucked in, and she swallowed hard remembering the day when Harry 'died'.

The headmaster furrowed his eyebrows, opening his mouth but nothing came out. He took a deep breath before nodding and getting up from his seat.

"I must get started on that as soon as possible" He mutters, rubbing his hands over his coats as the two look up at him confused.

"You need to make sure that when he breaks these objects - they need to be completely destroyed. To the point where it's impossible to use" She says deeply, quickly getting up to her feet and standing in front of Dumbledore.

"You guys may go now." He instructs, making her cross her arms over her chest and furrow her eyebrows, looking up at him.

To say she was confused was an understatement because it sounds like he forgot the two simple words of appreciation-'Thank you '.

"Is that it?" She asks, making the headmaster stop and Harry stands to hold his feet, coming beside his fiance.

"Lunch will be starting soon, you two should go eat," Dumbledore says nonchalantly as she takes long steps forward towards him.

"A thank you would be nice, it could have just saved your whole damn existence-"

"Mags-"

"Do not speak to me like that-"

"Why? Is it because you're the oh-so-great wizard in the world and headmaster of Hogwarts? I don't care, I'd like a 'thank you' for all of this - or even tell us how getting us back home is going?"

Dumbledore furrowed his eyebrows before muttering something under his breath but then he let out a loud cough. Maggie and Harry inspected him suspiciously, watching his every expression. But suddenly, they realized something-their stomachs dropping.

"How long do you still need to make something to bring us back to the year 2000," Harry asks in a quiet tone, his voice low as he stares intently at Dumbledore.

"At least another week-" The couple stopped and looked at the headmaster bewildered.

"Another week?! We've already been for longer than I had expected!" Maggie exclaims, her glare suddenly hardening at him.

"I-"

"You are the smartest wizard I know, I know you - You would have gotten us home a lot earlier..." Harry snarls him and Maggie finally realizing exactly why they've been in 1977 longer than they should be.

"You haven't even started..." Magnolia muttered, shaking her head as she clenched her fists.

"This was your plan! Even if we did say we wanted to stay and change things here, so the future could be good - you wouldn't have let us leave back to our time till we figured out a way to change the future for good!" Her eyes turned dark, and her hands started to glow with heat.

"That's not what-" He tried to say but once Harry placed a hand on Maggie's wrist, she calmed, while Harry had cut him off.

"You can't do that... You can't manipulate us to think you'll take us home and actually forcefully keep us here to change things ourselves" Harry says, trying to keep his anger down, knowing if he snapped - it would get ugly especially since Magnolia was ready to go full Veela.

"I wasn't forcing-"

"Saying you need more time is forcing us to stay here longer." Harry scowls, controlling his anger by gripping Maggie's hand in his.

"I'm... I'm sorry..." Dumbledore tells them, somehow intimated by the way Harry and Magnolia were glaring at him.

When the two were together, they almost held this power over them that intimated others. Harry was this superior being - the chosen one and a very powerful wizard at such a young age. Magnolia came from a very long line of bright wizards - a werewolf and veela, and just being a Veela, she could control her ability perfectly.

It was like her mother, Maggie knew how to control her Veela transformation perfectly - just like Evangeline Taurus, her mother. Then just being Veela entrapped and intimated people by their alluring features. And then she had her father's sharp looks, where no one dared to try to show dominance over her because just by a look, people cowered.

And Harry - again being the chosen one and a very powerful wizard, was known all around the wizarding world. Son of the bright young wizards, James and Lily (nรฉe Evans) Potter. Went through the most unspeakable things as just a child, suffering through it all and then surviving everything that came at him. It weirdly intimated people because they couldn't imagine what they would do if they were in his several pressured situations.

So then together, they were full of horrid memories that they surprisingly survived. Had battle scars and sharp looks that defined who they were, screamed their names together like loud fireworks.

"I want to go home. We've told you about the Horcruxes, so that should be enough-" As Harry silently stood angrily, she stepped forward, looking up at the hesitant headmaster with a murderous glare.

"Now... Don't even think about fucking coming near me or Harry unless you have what can take us home"

She then turned around and stormed out of his office, leaving Harry and Dumbledore. Harry kept a glare on him, his arms crossed over his chest.

"I didn't do it-"

"I know," Harry mutters, making the headmaster stop. "I know you're only doing it because you were worried just because of our reactions to your suggestion in the beginning."

Dumbledore nodded, looking anywhere else but Harry.

"But honestly, telling us you're doing something when you're surely not, is just rude. And even when we told you - we're just kids and we don't want to do it... You knew we would secretly give in and try to change the future, so you didn't bother to try to make a way home right away like you said you would."

Harry didn't feel odd speaking to Dumbledore this way - he knew a few years ago, he'd be praising and speaking so politely to the man. It wasn't that Harry and Maggie didn't want to change the future, it's just the trauma from the war and loss was still there.

Every time they looked at everyone they would have known if they hadn't died, they saw their faces - cold and breathless, lying before them.

Being here was taking a toll on their mental health because being here brought things back to their heads that they still were struggling with and trying to overcome. It was overwhelming and scary. You'd think it would be easy but it was hard, looking into your young father's eyes and seeing their older self, staring back at yourself - lifeless. And just knowing the last memory of them you had was their deaths before now.

Over and over again.

The cries for help, the screeching screams of agony, and the lifeless forms all over the Great Hall floor - all corrupting their mind all at once. Like you were reliving the war you wanted so badly to get away from.

"I don't think you know how hard it is for me and Maggie to be here - With our loved ones and knowing the bad things that are gonna happen to them in the future..." Harry says in almost a whisper as his voice rasps, shaking his head and Dumbledore stays quiet.

"It hurts like hell." Harry lastly whispers, looking at the headmaster one last time before turning around and leaving his office.

Magnolia was walking down the Hogwarts large hallways, trying to get to her dorm as fast as she could. She held a glare and her bright blue eyes were a dark midnight, still in fuming in fury.

She had walked past the marauders, making them turn to face her and happily greet her. But she only ignores them and continues walking past as they stare at her confused. They noticed the dark eyes she held and the way her knuckles looked like there was smoke coming out of them. And the stiff, disgruntled posture she held.

"Why does she look so pissed off?" Sirius asks, furrowing his eyebrows at the short-haired blonde girl.

"Did she and Harry fight?" James asks, ruffling his hair as he looks at the girl in the distance worried.

"I don't think so - maybe something bad happened when they were with Dumbledore..." Remus suggests as suddenly they see Harry walking down the hallway.

"Harry! Is everything okay?" Peter asks, making the chosen boy glance at him before ignoring him as he is about to walk past them too.

But they all stop him by quickly standing directly in front of him. He sighs, his eyes still glaring and his nostrils flaring in annoyance looking at the group in front of him. They looked at him with serious expressions and asked.

"What's going on?" James asks first, standing face to face with Harry as he rolls his eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me," James mutters, making Harry groan, throwing his head back dramatically.

"Look, I know you just found out you're my dad but that doesn't mean you were around, so don't think the whole dad thing is going to work," Harry says, making them almost freeze as he shoved his way between James and Sirius.

"Wait-" Remus grabbed his wrist sternly, and Harry bit the inside of his cheek before looking at his hopefully future father-in-law.

"What... What do you mean by that?" Remus mutters as the other marauders stare at Harry cautiously. Harry knew he shouldn't have said that, but he needed to go and find Maggie. Feeling the grip on his wrist loosen by Remus, he roughly pulls his arm away. Not looking back at the staying-put marauders, he quickly walks away in the direction he's meant to go.

Sirius, James, Peter, and Remus questioned themselves about the things he said about James. James not being around? What does that mean?

That doesn't make sense.

But once Remus puts things together... He thinks he might know what's happened.
