( lily apologizing about accidentally mistaking harry for james as she looked between the two )

MAGNOLIA COULDN'T HELP BUT BURST INTO TEARS as soon as she enters her and Harry's dorm room. She thankfully didn't run into them again on the way to the Gryffindor common room.

Behe thought if she ran into them, it would be fine. But she was so wrong - so wrong. Just seeing her father standing before her, hurt her so bad. All she could see when looking into his chocolate-colored eyes were the soulless ones staring right back at her on the day of the end of the war, where she found him dead beside his wife.

She missed him so much, that she wanted to jump into his arms and have him hold her forever and tell her all that happened was never real and she didn't lose him like she thought. He wanted her to tell her everything was okay and promise her the world like he'd do every time she felt the need to cry.

But that was impossible. He didn't know who she was. This was the past and she couldn't do anything.

She hated it.

Tears flowed down her cheeks, as she covered her mouth from Harry hearing and waking up. She sobbed into her hands, not being able to see the horrid picture of Remus lying in the Great Hall and the constant memory of him walking away from her after telling her he loved her unknowingly the last time. She shouldn't have let him go. She should have been more stubborn. Maybe if she was, he'd be able to take care of his son and live to see him grow up and walk his baby girl down the aisle at her wedding. But as much as she wanted to believe that the Remus she saw in the hall was him - it wasn't.

She soon fell asleep against the door, cradling herself. Harry woke up that morning, looking around confused - hoping it would be Magnolia he was lying on and not just a white pillow.

"Love?" He rubs his eyes and sits up, seeing his love lying against the door, her arms around herself.

"Magnolia?" He asks, fully awake now and getting out of bed. She stirs and slowly wakes up to see Harry sitting in front of her worriedly.

"Love, are you okay?" He asks as he cups her face, wiping her tears away with his thumbs in concern.

"I'm fine" He gives her a serious look, before leaning forward to kiss her tears away. She couldn't help but smile since this was something he always did when she cried. It was like he was kissing away the pain.

"Did someone hurt you? I swear to God- if someone hurt my Mags-"

"Harry." He stops and she gives him a weak smile, leaning into his palm, "I'm fine."

He looks at her once before shaking his head and sitting up.

"I'm not going anywhere unless you tell me what's wrong." She sighs, before wiping away a small tear and sniffles. She smiles as she looks at him with a shrug.

"I thought it would be okay" She whispers as he looks at her with furrowed eyebrows. He saw the look in her eyes and his lips parted into a o shape.

"Did you see them?" He whispers, making her nod as she bites the inside of her cheek.

"I thought it would be okay... Seeing them all again... I was so wrong" She whispered with a gasp, as he looked at her with sorrow.

"They introduced themselves to me and I wanted to hug all of them... But that would have been weird - a random stranger hugging them"

"You're not just a stranger to them-"

"I am, Harry. And once we go back to 2000, we won't have them again. Our last memories of them will be them not knowing who we are."

"Oh, Mags..." He whispers, pulling her into his arms. She didn't let any of her tears fall as he held her tightly. He didn't want to let go until she was okay and she absorbed it all up by laying her head on his chest fondly. Then, after a few minutes of him holding her and a few kisses on her shoulder, she speaks up.

"Harry?"

"Yes, my love?"

"I love you, love you" He smiles giddily, and hugs her tighter.

"I love you, love you too" She sits up to kiss his lips, and he smiles into the long passionate kiss.

They started saying love you, love you to each other when she was in a rush to class one year they were dating during Hogwarts...

~their past~

"Don't leave!" Harry complains, pulling Maggie back against his chest as she tries to leave for her next class.

"Harry, you know Snape will kill me if I'm late again" She groans, pulling away from his hold as she pouts with a slight smirk across his lips.

"I love you-" Cutting her off, he pulls her back, catching her by surprise as he firmly presses his lips onto hers. It takes her a second before kissing him back with a giggle as her body molds with his as he pulls her against him by her waist. Ron fake barfed behind the couple as the Weasley twins whistled at them teasingly.

"Love you" She mutters with a small smirk before she pulls away. She walked off this time not being pulled away from Harry again but his eyes lingered on her retreating body, feeling an overwhelming feeling of love coarse through him for the Veela. And hearing those things come out of her mouth, he smiled.

So he started teasing her by saying - "I love you, love you!" making her grow flustered since now that became their dumb little thing that people envied. It did cause more teasing from him, of course, but she loved it.

~back to their "present" in 1977~

"Are you ready for the first day of our sixth year in Hogwarts?" Magnolia asks from sitting beside Harry as she chuckles and he scoffs.

"Only if Um-bitch isn't here" She kisses his cheek before standing up and pulling him up with her.

"Well most likely not," She tells him as he nods, while they both start going through their closets. Maggie smiles finding a small black skirt and a nice button-up.

"This is giving me PTSD" Harry remarks, as he starts taking his clothes off to put on his uniform.

"Yeah, it's weird" She mutters to herself, sitting on the bed to pull on her knee-high black socks. She yawns before catching a glimpse of some shoes in her closet. She smiles and grabs them. She looked at them fondly, a shiver of excitement running through her as she knew they'd look good on her. They were nice black combat boots, and Magnolia couldn't be happier. If she were honest, her combat boots at home were her babies, and wore them practically everywhere.

She excitedly put them on, standing up and then tying a Gryffindor tie around her neck.

"How do you do this again?" Harry asks as she finishes putting her tie on. She looked over and smiled, seeing Harry fully dressed in his uniform with his tie laying around his neck not done as he looked at it like he was unsure what to do with it.

"Watch." She instructs him, standing in front of the curly-haired boy and saying the movements out loud as she works the tie on him. Harry smiled - paying no attention to the motive of this conversation. He stares at her lovingly, as she bites on her tongue to concentrate - he occasionally kisses her on her lips to distract her before she pulls away from tying his tie neatly.

"There" She whispers, slightly looking up at him. She stood at 5'7 and he stood at 6 foot 1. It angered her profusely since when they first met they were the same height and now he teases her for her shortness.

"What would I do without you?" He asks with a cheeky grin and she shrugs sarcastically with a smirk.

"I'm starving, we should go to breakfast-" She says, walking past him before he pulls her back into his chest.

"Are you sure you'll be okay seeing them again? You know we're gonna see them now that we're also in Gryffindor and are going to have classes with them..." She looks down, looking down at her feet as she wears black combat boots - she was so happy when she found them in the closet.

Okay, we're getting off track-

"Yeah... Now that I got it all hopefully out... And you beside me, I think I'll be okay" He smiles and nods, cupping her face.

"Okay, well let's go-" He leans down and kisses her lips softly, pulling away slowly as he bit her bottom lip carefully tugging on it before pulling away. She hits his chest as he barked out a laugh, darting to grab his and her bag.

"I could go for some eggs and toast right about now," He says with a smirk, as she glares at him for the teasing. He chuckles intertwining their hands and dragging her out of their dorm.

"This is so weird" She whispers, as they walk out of their dorm seeing as several other students were leaving and getting ready for the morning to head to breakfast and their first classes of the day.

"Let's just avoid speaking to anyone as long as possible..." She nods, as they cling to each other's hands and they make their way through the Gryffindor tower. They walked around, pushing past some kids sprinting around in a hurry while some looked like they wanted to cry at the fact they had to wake up so early.

"James!" Someone suddenly grabbed Harry's shoulder and turned him around quickly.

"Excuse me-" Maggie begins, quick to defend Harry as he was quickly pulled around making him yelp. She turned around, ready to go off on the person being rude but it was a familiar-looking woman, making the couple suddenly freeze.

"Hey, so hypothetically if you asked me out again... Would you?" Maggie looks at the girl with furrowed eyebrows, pursing her lips. Harry stared at her with his mouth a little gaped.

"James?"

"Um... Y-your - Oh bloody hell..." Maggie mutters, making the redhead glance confused at her and back at Harry.

"Wait... You're not James-"

"Dear Lilyflower! I heard you were looking for me!" Maggie panicked even more by hearing the familiar voices. Lily quickly turns around seeing the actual James with Sirius, Peter, and Remus.

"J-James?" She asks confused as they approach them giving Maggie awkward grins as she avoids their gazes.

"Harry, Harry P - Granger," Harry says, almost slipping up as Lily slowly widens her eyes.

"Oh I'm so sorry - You and James look so alike!" She laughs before holding a hand out for him to shake.

"I'm Lily Evans, nice to meet you Harry" Harry awkwardly shakes her hand and turns to Mags.

"I'm Maggie Taurus, it's a pleasure." Lily quickly smiles at the girl's kindness and shakes her hand. "Lily Evans, a pleasure indeed."

"You guys must be new, I've never seen you guys around" Lily laughs, making the couple nervously laugh under the marauders and Lily Evans's gaze.

"Yeah, we came just yesterday" Harry mutters nervously. Maggie wanted to gauge her eyeballs out of her head on how nervous the two were.

"I can show you the Great Hall, come on" Lily offers, as she begins leaving the common room making the two sigh. Maggie grabs Harry's wrist to leave the common room as soon as possible, so they're not left alone with the marauders for more than a second.

"Are you guys in your sixth year?" Lily asks as Harry softly smiles at his young mother. It was rather more intriguing than upsetting seeing his mother alive in front of him. That's why it wasn't hitting him as hard as it was for Maggie. He wanted to compare and see the similarities between him and his parents. And of course, seeing her green eyes staring at him - he finally understood why everyone told him why he had his mother's sparkling emerald green eyes.

"Yeah-" Maggie was trying to remain calm and not overthink as she stood beside Harry as he talked to his mother. And walk so she wouldn't have to interact with her father, Sirius Black, and James Potter. Harry was still a little awestruck from meeting his mother - not really noticing the four boys following them while Mags certainly did.

And thankfully - Maggie thought, that he hadn't noticed or realized Peter Pettigrew was alongside them. Don't get her wrong she wanted to strangle him to death for what he's about to do in a few years but this is the past and his mind isn't tormented by Voldemort till later.

"Um, Maggie?" She squeezed her shut before looking beside her with a sigh. There stood Remus, giving her a polite smile.

"I'm so sorry about last night - you see, my friends like to pester and be annoying sometimes... Well, most of the time but anyways-" Maggie tried figuring out how to just speak to him normally without the possibility of breaking down or stuttering. So she takes a deep breath and smiles.

"What I wanted to ask you is, me and my friends-" Maggie looked behind her and Remus as they continued to walk, seeing the three smiling giddily at her before she turned her attention back to Remus.

"Were hoping we could be friends and Harry's too. It's just funny seeing as he looks exactly like my friend, James-"

"Yeah, it's bloody weird actually!" James exclaims jumping between Maggie and Remus, slinging an arm over her shoulders.

"Funny..." Maggie chuckles nervously, as she slowly gets away from James's hold.

"So tell me Taurus, are you free for Hogsmeade this weekend?" Sirius asks with a sly smirk, throwing his arm over her shoulder. Maggie's face turns red in embarrassment and she nervously laughs.

Merlin's saggy balls! The man she always saw as another father figure is asking her out - This cannot be happening-

"Let the girl breathe Padfoot, don't act like it wasn't only yesterday you were tormenting her" Remus laughs as Sirius scoffs dramatically.

"I don't remember such a thing, do you, darling?" Maggie almost tripped at his words in surprise but she only nervously laughed again and got away from his hold, before walking a little in front of them.

"I'm glad we can be friends, I'll have to talk to you guys later!" She quickly says, running to catch up with Harry and Lily.

"This is Slytherin's, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, and then ours - the Gryffindor's table," Lily says lastly, making the boy nod and start to look around with a confused expression.

"Love?" He asks confused, making Lily smile with a chuckle.

"Are you and Maggie dating?" Harry looks at Lily and smiles with a nod.

"Lucky you guys, you got to move schools together, huh?"

"Yeah... Lucky us, I guess" Soon Maggie comes running up beside Harry, throwing Lily a smile as she takes a huge breath.

"Sorry- got a little distracted-"

"Oh don't tell me, they're already tormenting you guys!" Lily exclaims, making Harry and Maggie look at her with wide eyes.

"What?"

"Lily over here!" A blonde girl yells from the Gryffindor table, making Lily smile.

"Have a good first day, I'll talk to you later?"

"Yeah for sure," Maggie says before Harry pulls her to sit down at a spot in the Gryffindor table as they couldn't help but fill with anxiety since the last time they were in the Great Hall... There was a bunch of innocent dead bodies. That's why Harry stopped before fully entering the Great Hall, he needed Magnolia to walk in with him to cure the aching anxiety forcefield not wanting him to take another step forward.

"This is bloody horrendous!" Harry exclaims in a whisper as they sit beside each other.

"Yeah - this is just too weird! You know your godfather just asked me to Hogsmeade?" Harry furrows his eyebrows at her before letting out a loud laugh.

"Actually?!"

"Actually." She mutters with an eye roll and grabs a biscuit, stuffing it in the laughing boy's mouth. Then the four boys come and sit close to them at the table.

"I'm afraid we haven't met yet, I'm James Potter" He leans over the table to shake Harry's hand and Harry smiles brightly, firmly shaking his hand.

"Harry Granger."

"Sirius Black, a pleasure to meet you - me and your pretty lady friend have already met" Sirius remarks, throwing a wink toward Maggie as Harry silently cackles at Maggie's embarrassed panicky face.

"I'm Remus Lupin, it's nice to see some new faces" They throw each other a mere smile before James places his hand on a shorter boy's shoulder beside them.

"I see you guys haven't met our other good friend, Peter Pettigrew!" Harry's mood quickly diminishes, dropping his biscuit and glaring at the blonde boy.

"H-hello" Peter mutters with a small smile as Maggie is the only one who smiles at him.

"Hi, I'm Maggie Taurus, nice to meet you" Harry doesn't say anything and just glares deathly at Peter, making Maggie nervously bite her lip and whisper in his ear.

"Greet him nicely or no kiss" She whispers, pinching his arm, catching his attention. Harry looks at her with a small pout as she narrows her eyes at him. He sighs and smiles at Peter.

"Harry Granger" He then turns back to Maggie with a small glare.

"Can I kill him now?" She sighs and leans her head on his shoulder.

"You know you can't, love" He grunts like a pouting child and gently grabs her chin for her to look up at him.

"Not even a little?" He whispers, making her chuckle and shake her head. He then starts to smirk and leans down to whisper in her ear so no one else can hear.

"If I can't, then I must take out my frustration somehow tonight, right?" She can't help but blush before glancing down at his lips. He catches her eyes and places a firm hand on her hip.

"I have a few ideas" She whispers as he looks at her with a raised eyebrow and then smirks.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."
