( don't get me wrong, i love david thewlis but i want to continue picturing our present time andrew garfield as remus lupin and the amazing spiderman andrew as young "marauder era" remus )

( hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say )

"THIS SHOW SUCKS" The girl looks at her father with a dramatic gasp and furiously looks between the TV and her father.

"Seinfeld is a great show!" Magnolia exclaims, throwing a small glare at Remus as he laughs at her dramaticness.

"I don't get it!"

"Guess you're too old to understand classic comedy—"

"Oh no, you didn't!" She squeals as he throws her over his shoulder, tickling her sides.

"Ah! D-Dad stop!" She laughs, as he throws her back on the couch with a sigh.

"I'm only 30 young lady. Better watch your mouth" He tells her playfully, before looking at her plate of dinner as it was not finished. And she tried running off to her room before it was noticed.

"Not so fast. You still have some vegetables left" Magnolia stops with a groan, plopping down back in her seat. He walks into the kitchen and starts cleaning his plate in the sink.

She then suddenly walked up to him with her empty plate. He looks at her plate with a raised eyebrow and then looks at her innocent grin.

"I finished it!"

"You used magic, didn't you?"

"Pfft—" He gives her a look and she throws her head back with a caught groan.

"Yeah, I did."

Ever since a young age, he knew she was gifted with the art of wizardry magic. But he couldn't help but think how afraid he was of sending her to Hogwarts. He wasn't just worried for her but for himself too. She hasn't socialized with others other than him and the strangers they see daily in the town far from home. He didn't know how she'd be without him and control her Veela abilities and her father's temper. But she had gotten her Hogwarts letter and she saw it.

She knew what it was, and was excited about it. But the look on her dad's face made her not want to go. She knew she couldn't leave him and he'd want to protect her.

So they kept on hiding together.

Remus then taught Mags everything she needed to know. Every day before he went to work he'd give her homework and books to read — it'd almost be just like Hogwarts.

Of course, when she did turn 10, he started to trust her to be home alone. And Dahlia Fowler 'retired' from babysitting Maggie.

Then came 1993. The year Dumbledore had found the two Lupins. He offered Remus a job as a professor and wanted Maggie to attend Hogwarts. It took a while to convince Remus to go and let his daughter leave for Hogwarts. But finally, he agreed, knowing they'd still be safe together in the same castle.

"I'm nervous," The young Lupin says, clutching onto her bag strap around her shoulder.

They were at Hogwarts Express Station, and Remus stood beside her taking a look at the whole place. It brought back good memories... which then made his mood dampen knowing he'll never be able to go back to those times.

They watched as parents kissed their children goodbye. Some are crying and some are thankful to get their kids off their back for the school year.

"Don't worry, I'll be on the train with you" He tells her as a bunch of loud redheads are about to enter the train. There was quite a lot and that's when Molly Weasley caught sight of Remus Lupin. She looked at them with wide eyes and shouted in joy as Remus gave her a nervous welcoming grin.

"Oh Remus, it's been far too long!" She threw her arms around his waist as he had to crouch down far because of how short she was compared to his lanky form.

Remus has told Maggie a lot about his years in Hogwarts — even about some of his dreadful full moon moments. But she has heard some very fond things after Hogwarts about the short-haired woman.

"Oh, this must be Magnolia! She's grown so much since I've seen her! She looks just like you!" She wraps her arms around the girl, giving her a tight squeeze.

"Hi!" Maggie squeaked nervously as the train horn blew and Molly pulled away from the two.

"Well we must be going, I'm the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and she needs to get sorted to a house—"

"Oh, how wonderful! If you see any redheads they're mine!" Molly laughs, making the father and daughter chuckle.

"Well have a good day then, nice seeing you Molly," Remus says as she happily nods before walking over to her family. Remus then directs his daughter onto the train.

"Let's go before all the compartments are taken."

It gave Maggie a lot of comfort knowing her father was gonna be there the whole time at Hogwarts with her. So her nervousness began growing into excitement. They finally found an empty compartment and entered it together.

"I'm exhausted, I barely got any sleep last night" Remus groans, plopping down in the seat as she sat beside him.

"Are you sure? Because I could hear your snoring threw the walls" He gives her a small glare as she chuckles and he leans against the window, hoping he can catch a nap before they get to the school.

Magnolia sat facing her back towards him and leaning up against him. She bent her knees up and started to read a book from her bag. She wore blue jeans with a brown knitted patterned sweater that she was practically drowning in. She had stolen the sweater from out of Remus's closet since that's what his closet was full of. It was a sweater he hadn't worn in years, from his marauder times in Hogwarts. He didn't even realize the sweater she wore was his.

The pouring rain gave her small comfort as suddenly two people entered the compartment.

"Hello, is it okay if we sit here?" A girl with bushy brown hair asked as Mags only nodded with a bright smile.

"Thank you — I'm Hermione Granger."

"Maggie Lupin." A boy with ginger hair sat across from her beside Hermione.

"I'm Ronald Weasley, is he sleeping?" Ron asks Mags, directing towards Remus. Maggie chuckles with a nod, recognizing the boy to possibly be one of Molly's children.

"Yeah — he's my dad and a new professor at Hogwarts, he's a bit tired."

"Are you new this year?" Hermione asks politely and she nods.

"Yeah, it's gonna be my third year."

"Oh us too! What house are you hoping to get?"

"To be completely honest, I don't care — I'm sure they're all cool to be part of" Ron scoffs, making Hermione frown.

"Hopefully you don't get in Slytherin, they're bloody horrible."

"Shut up Ron — anyways, me and Ron are in Gryffindor, it will be cool if you get in too" Then a boy with light brown skin, green eyes, and glasses followed, and walked in, smiling at Hermione and Ron and then turning to Maggie.

"Oh, Hello."

"Harry! This is Maggie Lupin, she's new here." The boy nervously smiled at her and the girl just smiled. She remembered her dad would tell her stories from when she was born. But it was rare when he'd mention his past before they moved away from his family and friends. But she knew the name Harry Potter from newspapers and small brief memories and rare stories her father would tell her.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Potter Harry — I m-mean, Harry Potter" He stuttered, avoiding her eyes as he internally cursed himself for stuttering like an idiot. He couldn't help but think she was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen, and already he was looking like an idiot. But she only smiled at him politely before looking back down at her book as Ron and Hermione began to talk to him.

That's when Harry started rambling on about the Sirius Black. Who he's convinced broke out of Azkaban to kill him. Maggie knew about him, Remus had told her that he was a terrible person and that he was the reason that her Aunt Lily and Uncle James were dead.

Of course at this moment, Remus nor Magnolia knew he was completely innocent and he was blamed by Peter Pettigrew — the real traitor of the marauders.

"Except no one's ever broken out of Azkaban before... He's a murderous, raving lunatic" Ron said, as the rain poured outside.

"Thanks, Ron" Harry sarcastically responds before the train stops abruptly with a loud screech.

"Why are we stopping?" Hermione asks worriedly as Maggie looks outside in confusion.

"We can't be there yet" Hermione remarks, making Maggie shrug.

"Maybe there's something wrong with the train," Maggie says, as she looks out the window in wonder, hoping to see something out of the ordinary.

Harry got up and opened the compartment door, looking down the hall as other students in different compartments did. But he was only thrown back on Maggie as the train shook violently.

Maggie paid no mind to him being thrown against her and looked around in worry. Harry couldn't help but blush as she grabbed his hands in fear. She notices and quickly pulls her hands away in embarrassment.

"What's going on?" Ron asks as everyone looks around in fear as the compartment shuts by itself. In fear too, Harry grabbed her hand in his. Neither fled their hands away this time and kept holding hands for comfort.

"Don't know... Maybe we've broken down" Harry says, sitting up and fighting off the fear coursing through him in front of everyone.

The lights turn off, and they look up. Maggie bit her nails on her other hand as she clung to his hand with the one she was not picking on.

"Ouch Ron, that was my foot" Hermione scoffed at Ron, as he stood a good distance away from her, looking out the window.

"There's something moving out there," Ron tells them frightened, as Maggie tries waking up Remus again.

"Dad wake up, please!"

"Hey it's okay, everything's okay, I promise," Harry reassured her, as her anxiety slowly decreased. She hated the dark, especially in creepy circumstances — like now. So the lights turning off all of sudden, and the train stopping for no reason was freaking her the fuck out.

"I think someone's coming on board," Ron whines, looking like he might just cry. The train shook again, and the window started to freeze.

"It's freezing" Maggie mutters, as a puff of white air comes out of her mouth. She pulled her hand away from Harry, who looked at her as she did so. He liked holding her hand, so now his hands felt empty and cold.

She started covering her hands with her sleeves and hugging herself as the cold increased. But then the train shook violently again, making Maggie almost let out a shriek.

"Bloody hell! What's happening?!" Ron shrieks, falling back in his seat.

"Oh my god — oh my god — oh my god-"

Harry covered Maggie's mouth with his hand as suddenly a tall cloaked dark creature went by their compartment. She looked at it with wide terrifying eyes and held her breath.

A dementor...

Ron and Maggie wanted to scream as the dementor from the outside of the compartment slowly opened the door to their compartment. Tears prickled Maggie's eyes as her breathing became fast. Everyone stared in terror as the dementor stood at the entrance. Hermione's cat, Crookshanks hissed and Ron's stupid rat — Scabbers, hid away.

The dementor turns towards Harry and Maggie. Slowly the dementor started doing something to Harry as Maggie couldn't help but stare at him with tears. Accidentally, Maggie jammed Remus in the ribs, waking him up. Knowing what to do suddenly, he stood up against the dementor, pointing his wand. A loud screaming was heard as Remus shined the bright light from his wand at the dementor, making it leave quickly in hisses.

Looking back down in shock, Harry passed out in Maggie's lap. The worried father quickly went to his daughter first and cupped her face in worry. He gave her a look, making sure she was okay and she nodded in response.

"Seriously a non-corporeal Patronus Charm? You're so dramatic." She remarks as he sheepishly grins. She then looked down at the boy in her lap and he sat where Hermione sat. As she went to the floor, she called his name.

"Harry?"

"Harry, you alright?" He slowly woke up in confusion and looked up to see Maggie looking down at him. In even more confusion, he sat up quickly as Hermione gave him his glasses.

"Here eat this, it will help" He carefully took the piece of chocolate out of Remus's hand. Harry looked at the candy weirdly, and then back at Maggie and back to Remus.

"It's alright, it's chocolate" He looked around his surroundings in slight fear as Maggie looked at him in worry.

"What was that thing?"

"It was a dementor..." Maggie answered for Remus, making Harry furrow his eyebrows.

"One of the guards in Azkaban, it's gone now searching the train for Sirius Black" He then stood up, and Maggie looked at him in confusion as Remus just returned it with a reassuring nod.

It didn't look like he was searching the train, he looked like he was sucking the soul out of Harry — Magnolia couldn't help but think.

"Now if you excuse me, I need to have a little chat with the driver" He walked to the entrance of the compartment and smiled warmly at Harry.

"Eat, you'll feel better" He then looked at Maggie with a pointed look and smiled.

"Be careful" He whispered, making her nod. With one more protective glance towards her, he leaves.

"What happened to me?" Harry asks, taking a bite of the chocolate.

"You were going rigid — We thought you were having a fit or something"

"Did either of you guys... pass out?" He asked, glancing around as they all shook their heads.

"No... It felt weird though, like I'll never be cheerful again" Ron says seriously, making Maggie lean back against the window with her knees pulled to her chest.

"It was horrifying" Maggie mutters, making Hermione nod as she nervously petted Crookshanks.

"Like someone was screaming... A woman" Ron and Hermione looked at him confused, and Maggie started biting her nails again.

"No one was screaming, Harry..." Maggie looked at Hermione in confusion and looked back at Harry.

"But..." They faced the young blonde girl as she looked seemingly scared.

"I heard it too..."

And that's how Harry Potter and Magnolia Lupin met again after 12 years.

i hope you guys enjoyed me fitting maggie into this scene in the movie and that i did it well :)

also what i was saying in my note at the very beginning with imagining andrew garfield completely for remus, it goes for ben barnes as sirius black too — alongside oscar isaac as james potter... but you can picture whoever, i'm just informing you what i'll be describing and imagining for my story
