Your eyes open and you see a sleeping Jin lying inches away from you. Your hand cups his cheek and your thumb caressed it. The soft feeling wakes Jin up and he flutters his eyes open.

"Good morning." You whisper.

"Hey." He cups your hand with his and brings your hand to his lips, placing a soft kiss on your palm. "How'd you sleep?"

"The best sleep I've had in a while."

"Oh really." He bites his bottom lip as he gets closer to you.

Jin goes in for a kiss, but you stop him by placing your hands on his chest.

"Ew. Both of us have morning breath."

"Seriously?" Jin scoffs.

"It's gross!" You defend yourself.

"It's gross!" He mimics and tries to go in for a kiss again. This time you don't stop him.

"The consummation has been completed!" Yejin yells as she bursts into the room—the nobles and the man who married you following behind. Jin pulls away quickly.

"Eomma!" Jin yells as he hurriedly covers his torso and brings the blanket over your head. You giggle under the covers at his bashful gesture. "What are you doing here?!"

"I'm showing these men that you have consummated. There's no need for Y/N to go through that uncomfortable virginity test." Yejin explained.

"What if this is an act? Maybe they just got naked before we arrived." One of the nobles said.

"I heard them just fine yesterday." Another commented. "I'm sure they're not acting. I don't think you can act those... sounds."

You cover your face in embarrassment even though no one could see you.

"You see?" Yejin raised an eyebrow. "Now shoo. We must give them some space."

Yejin and the rest of the bunch leave the room. Once you heard the door close, you uncover your face. You and Jin look at each other before bursting out into laughter. Jin rests his head on his palm as he looks down at you attentively and you smile up at him.

"What?"

"You're so beautiful." His fingers move a few strands of hair that cover your face.

You feel your face getting hot and you smile harder. You grab the back of his neck and pull him down to place his lips on yours.

"Let's have a picnic," Jin suggests after he pulls away. "The castle has a beautiful, enormous garden."

"Mmm." You hum. "Sounds like a good idea. But first I need to shower."

"Mind if I join you?"

"Of course I don't mind."

"How was the consummation?" Inha questions as she zips the back of your dress.

"Aren't you nosey?" You tease.

"I'm just wondering." She raises her hands up in surrender.

"Well... it was great." You answer.

"And now you're having a picnic? There really is a love blossoming."

"Yeah," You answer softly as you think about Jin. "Maybe."

"Prince Kim Seokjin." You curtsy as soon as you're standing in front of him.

"Princess Kim Y/N." He bows before wrapping his arms around your waist. "I like how that sounds—Kim Y/N."

"I kinda like my last name better." You joke.

"Yeah, Yeah." He playfully rolls his eyes and kisses you. "Ready for the picnic?"

"Yes, sir." You answer sternly.

"Oh... sir," Jin bites his bottom lip. "I think I'd like to be called that somewhere else."

"Jin!" You slap his chest and he laughs.

You both walk to the garden and to the area in front of the lake where he has a blanket laid out. You sit on the blanket and he sits next to you. Jin pulls the silver platter cover up to reveal the food.

"Inha made us lobster."

"Oh! I love it." You clap. "But just a warning," You say as you tie your hair up. "I might get messy."

"Good. I want to see every side of you." Jin smiles sweetly but a deviant smile takes over. "Well, basically I did last night... and in the shower."

"Oh my god! What is up with you and these dirty jokes!" You laugh. "Stick to your dad jokes."

"Fine." He chuckles. "What did one snowman say to the other one?"

"No! Stop!" You yell quickly. "Eat, Jin!" You point to his plate.

"Okay, okay." He raises his hands up in surrender. "Do you smell carrots?" He mumbles the answer after a few seconds.

"Ugh!" You groan through chuckles.

You pout and he quickly smiles at your cuteness. He climbs over the plates that sat in between you and you lay back as Jin hovers over you. He leans down to kiss you passionately.

"Jin," You pull away breathlessly. "We're in the garden."

"And? I'm the prince. Who's going to say anything?"

"If you think I'm going to have sex with you in a garden, you're crazy." You giggle.

"Fine," Jin stands up and quickly swoops you in his arms making you wrap your arms around his neck.

"What are you doing?!" You asked through your laugh.

"You said you wouldn't sleep with me if we were in the garden."

"But the food!"

"I have all the food I need right here." He winks at you.

"Jin!"

"What is going on?!" Yejin storms into the throne room. "What is this I hear about North Korea threatening our new princess and future queen?"

"Jin has more power than any heir in the north. Now that he's married his power will continue to grow and he'll be able to take over any country. He already has reign over Japan and China once he becomes king. With a queen by his side before he even becomes king, he'll reign over more than just those two countries and the north is scared."

"North Korea is dirty. You know them. Do I have to remind you about when they tried to assassinate me not once but multiple times?" Yejin reminds.

"I know darling."

"We will protect that girl and our son with everything we've got, you understand?" Yejin questions. "They're our future leaders. We must protect them with our lives. No one will get their hands on them."
