BEFORE THE BLIP, t'challa was expecting a baby. you were crazy about it, excited to birth a child into a safe world like wakanda. then thanos attacked, and your stress levels couldn't have been higher. you were scared for t'challa, for the dora milaji, for everyone. you were put under protection while the avengers saved the universe. thanos' snap, though, changed everything.

you mourned the loss of t'challa for weeks. you gave birth not too long after the blip, and had been raising your baby girl all on your own. those who weren't blipped helped you with your child, but all you wanted was your boyfriend back.

you were in your daughter's room, cleaning up some of her toys as she ate lunch with some of the guards. you heard a gasp, followed by sounds of commotion and scurrying. you stopped what you were doing and raced to your daughter, thinking she was injured. what she was met with instead, was her boyfriend walking into the room, saluting the guards at the door.

you were frozen in your place, but you didn't waste hardly any time as you ran to him, embracing him in your arms. you cried, and you cried so hard. both of you did. when the two of you finally pulled away, t'challa wiped the tears from your face.

"i see i've missed a lot," he hummed as he eyed the little girl behind you.

"yes! yes, this is your daughter, sana," you whispered as you picked her up. sana looked at t'challa with her big, brown eyes. she'd heard a lot about her father, but she never thought he'd come back from the dead.

"she's beautiful, looks just like you," he hummed.

"but she has your way with words; she's very convincing." you shared a laugh with t'challa, who held his daughter for the first time, even though she was nearly 5 years old.
