JENA SAT CRYING in the hospital's hallway. She was blaming herself, it was all her fault.

It's all my fault, echoed in her head.

She held the dried bloody amulet in her grasps. She has it pressed against on her chest as it went back to gray.

Donghyuck and Renjun tried to comfort her, but nothing could stop her tears. Jeno cried as well, the lose of his best friend is something that broke him.

He's thankful that Jaemin saved her, however he sacrificed himself for that.

"I wish.. I wish I never existed- I wish... I wish that he was still alive- I wish-," cried Jena.

Jeno sat beside his sister and embraced her tightly.

Her love has disappeared again.

WHEN JENA WOKE UP, she isn't in her bedroom.

She was in a mysterious room- it seemed like a large meeting area. 23 glasses cases surrounded her.

Each one had the pale amulets inside, the amulets that her grandmother has given her. She turned in front of her and sees a glass case with her name on it.

Her name was beside Jaemin's.

She continued to look around.

Names of familiar people with unknown names carved in each glass case.

She halted her steps when she saw a book. Jena gulped down the lump in her throat and takes a look at it.

Pictures of the amulet was drawn on it. What it was made out of was also written. She flipped the pages and saw what her grandma told her.

"Jena." She flinched when she hears the voice. Knots being tied in her stomach before she could turn around.

Her eyes widen and she saw Renjun and Beomgyu standing there. However, they didn't look opaque, they were translucent, almost like a ghost.

"What- what are you guys doing here?" She ran up to them, but Renjun placed his hands in her shoulders.

"We don't have time, drink this." Renjun gives her tea.

"What- why?"

"Just drink it!"

JAEMIN WAKES UP IN an unknown room.

His head aching and what seems like pain tingled through his body. Horrible memories of the crash flashed in his head.

But no memories of a girl flashed in his head.

"You're awake," Jaemin looks up to see a girl in front of him.

She had black hair and purple eyes. Her lips were burgundy red and she had some weird aura around her.

She seemed to be shaking, despite acting cold. After all, she would do anything to let Jaemin back into their original world.

"W-who are you?" Jaemin backed away from her.

"No time- you will bring soulmates together. This amulet-," she shows Jaemin a pale darker blue amulet.

"Will tell you if you are close to finish your mission or not. If you turn all of these pale colors back to opaque, you will return to your original world."

His eyes widen at her words.

He definitely wants to go back... Go back to Jeno and having fun with him. The goofiness they caused back in his highschool.

Silence engulfed the room.

"Who are the soulmates?"

"You are in a different world now- the soulmates are Lee Jeno and y/n."

With his memories of Jena stored away, her identity is now a stranger to him, her loved one.

All she could do is help Jaemin bring the soulmates together. She finally realized her dreams- they were like warnings.

Jena promised to bring Jaemin back, no matter how long and tiring it will be.

And just like that, Jaemin became the person who brings soulmates together.

I'm sorry if the ending is a bit rushed but I really hope this cleared the confusion around Jaemin's role.
