At night by chance Nandini saw the password of Manik's phone. She couldn't sleep whole night. She kept on changing sides. She was waiting for a chance when Manik won't be around and she will call someone for help.

Nandini was the first one to get up in the morning. She got up and found Manik in deep sleep. She also saw Manik's phone beside him. Nandini without making any noise got down from bed and took the phone quietly. She went out of the room so that Manik does not get up.

Nandini's heart was racing in very fast pace. She could feel her palms were all wet due to sweat. She knew if Manik sees her with his phone, then she will be in great trouble. He won't leave her easily. She was also praying to God that Manik should not get up now.

Nandini dialed Nisha's number as first as she could. But she didn't pick at the first go. Nandini dialed her number again. She praying in mind that Nisha should pick up the call. She was holding the phone on her ears when Manik came from behind and snatched the phone from her hand and cut the call.

Nandini was startled with the sudden action. She closed her eyes tightly knowing she has landed in a great trouble and there is noway out here. She opened her eyes and slowly turned behind where Manik was standing.

Seeing Manik, Nandini got really afraid. Nandini could seeing Manik's expression that he was really angry. Nandini was praying to God in mind to save her. "God, please save me for this time from Manik. I promise I won't use bad words ever from now on. I don't want to die so soon. Please. Help me. Only you can save me from this monster."

"How dare you, Nandini?" Manik shouted angrily on top of his voice making Nandini shiver at her place.

"You know how much daring I am from before." She flipped her hair backwards showing her attitude to him. But only she knew what she feeling inside. Manik opened her mouth to say something but Nandini cut him in between. "I am feeling suffocated here. I want to go away from here." This time she shouted.

Manik glared at her and held her shoulder in his tight grip. "I have said it already when time will come I myself will let you go. Just wait for a few days, didn't I? But you don't get simple words." Manik told her in a threatening tone. His eyes were spitting fire.

Nandini again shivered hearing his voice. She didn't get the courage to say anything. She looked away from him.

"From where did you get the courage to disobey me? You didn't do it right. Now you have to face the wrath." Saying this Manik picked up Nandini in bridal style.

He took her to the room and threw Nandini on bed. Nandini got up and wanted to run away from there. But before she could run away Manik trapped her between the wall and himself. He held her tightly leaving some marks there. She winced in pain but she could not understand whether Manik noticed it or not.

"Manik, leave me. It's hurting." Nandini said while trying to free herself from Manik's grip.

"Shut up. You didn't do it right. I gave you a little space and you misused that. Now you have to pay for it." Manik tightened his grip more and told her dangerously.

Manik held her both the hands tightly with the support of wall. He was moving towards her lips. Nandini got afraid and closed her eyes tightly. Before Manik could proceed more his phone rang. Manik came out of his trance, Nandini also opened her eyes with a jerk. Manik received the call still holding Nandini in that position only.

"Hello, Nisha, how are you?"

Hearing Nisha's name, Nandini was going to say something but Manik closed her mouth with his free hand. Their full body was touching.

"Nisha, I am Manik. I called you to ask about Nandini. If she was ok..."

"It's okay. Call me when she comes back. Take care. Bye."

Then Manik hung up the call and removed his hand from Nandini's mouth.

"You can't go away from me so easily, Nandini." Manik was about to place his lip on hers but again his phone rang.

Manik took out the phone from his pocket. Seeing the caller id, Manik left Nandini and went out of the room without saying anything. After Manik left, Nandini fell on that place with a thud. She didn't even move for once. She hugged her knees and leaned her back to the wall. She was thinking about the moments they shared sometimes ago.

If Manik's phone hadn't rung, then would they have kissed???

It's not they have not kissed before. They have kissed each other numerous times before. She can still remember the first time they had kissed. Remembering that day Nandini smiled closing her eyes.

Flashback
Manik and Nandini knew each other from childhood. Their parents were best friend. They also liked each other from the very beginning but they started dating when they were in high school. Their parents also knew about them. They were more than happy for them.

It was the day before Manik's birthday. Nandini was more excited than Manik. Manik was a little shy type and Nandini was always very daring type. They were poles apart from each other, that's what attracted them more.

Nandini had gone to Manik's house at night without his notice with his parents help. She entered into his room and saw the time it's almost 12. She ran towards the kitchen and brought cake for him. Manik's parents also came.

They entered into the room and turned on the lights.

"Happy birthdayyyyyyyyy, Manik." Manik's parents and Nandini shouted together.

Manik got up with a jerk. They laughed seeing his reaction. They send him to freshen up and change because Nandini's doesn't like him in his night suit.

Manik came back in his casual wear. Then they cut the cake. Manik's parents left from there to give them some alone time. They trust them enough because they have seen them growing up together.

After they left, Nandini hugged Manik and Manik also hugged her back.

"Happy birthday, hero. I love you."

"Thank you, Nandi. And I love you too."

Then they broke the hug. They settle themselves on the coach of the terrace as they love watching stars together. They were talking and talking.

Nandini was about to kiss Manik but Manik was damn shy. Seeing him being so shy, Nandini thought to tease him. "Who is the heroine here? You or me? Behave like hero."

"I can't do this."

Nandini pulled him holding his collar with her both hand and placed her lips on his. At first Manik was shocked. He came out of his trance when Nandini started sucking his lips. Manik also pulled her holding her waist and kissed her back.

They were kissing when rain started. First rain of monsoon with first kiss.

They broke the kiss after sometime. Nandini was blushing for the first time for her previous act. Manik saw that. He pulled her more close and made her look at him holding her chin.

"You look prettier when you blush. I can't tell how much beautiful you are looking in my favorite color under this rain. I love the dress you are wearing and also the color of your cheeks."

Then Manik placed a kiss on her forehead and Nandini closed her eyes. They again hugged each other.

The nature and the rain were the witness of the love of two beautiful soul.

Nandini smiled remembering that day. She was busy thinking about those moments when Manik came into the room. Nandini came out her trance hearing the sound of door being close. Nandini looked at Manik shockingly.
