Manik was about to leave after all the drama at Nandini's place but thinking something he stopped on his way and came back to Nandini again. This time a hope raised in Nandini's heart that may be he will ask her to stay back. May be there is still a chance for them. She was looking at Manik with hopeful eyes.

"Nandini, I know I have already troubled you a lot. I did something which I was not supposed to and you were about to lose your life because of me. I never wanted to come back to your life because you don't want me. But trust me, I didn't have any other option. If I wanted to save you, then I had to come back. I promise I won't cause any problem in your life ever again.

You had asked for divorce, it will also happen soon. So, after our divorce, if you want, you can marry Aryaman. He won't betray you, I can assure you that. He is a nice guy. He agreed to your uncle because he was in need of money to save his father. He loves you truly. You also love him. (While saying this he choked a little but he controlled himself. It was paining him to say this to the person he loves.) If we love someone from heart truly, then we can do anything for him and you just need to forgive him once.

Aryaman really needs the job. Return him the job. Take care. I am going," Manik then left with others.

Only Nisha and Vishakha were there with Nandini. She heard every words of Manik quietly, not for once she interrupted him. Actually she was in a trance when she saw him leaving once again. No word came out from her lips. She was too numb to react or say anything. It was like she was in some trance.

What she should say?

Is there anything for her to reply???

Manik took all the decisions of her life.

Their lives.......

Not only now but also 5 years back too. Because of his one decision, they are standing at this point of life. They fell apart due to his one decision. Now when they are supposed to be together, there was a chance for them when she thought now Manik will ask her to come back, then also he left. Making the decisions what she should do in her life in future.

How can he do this all the time???

Why???

Whenever he wants he enters her life, whenever he feels like he leaves.

Nisha and Vishakha left Nandini to her room. Nandini asked them to leave the room so that she can lock the room saying she needs some rest.

"Why will you lock the room? There is no need of locking it." Vishakha told her because she was afraid that Nandini might do something in anger. Her mental state is not also good at this moment. She didn't want to take the risk.

Nandini forced a smile on her face. "Don't worry aunty. I won't do anything wrong. I just want to be alone for some time. I need it to calm myself. Don't worry, I won't take any step, you are thinking about." She assured them. Then they left the room.

Nandini locked the door and then lied down on the bed turning off the lights. Today's events were too much for her. Also very much difficult for her to believe. All this felt like a nightmare to her. The person whom she trusted the most, didn't want her good. But whom she misunderstood, they saved her. They proved her wrong. She realized how wrong she was in judging people.

"I have lost. I have made the mistake of trusting people blindly once again. I couldn't recognize who is my well-wisher and who is not. All this kept happening in front of me and I was so blind by their fake love and affection that I could not see anything beyond them. They not only played with my emotions but also broke my trust. All this was a game for them." These thoughts were roaming in her mind continuously. She was not able to get them out of her mind.

She got up breathing heavily. She felt she was lacking oxygen not able to breath properly. She gulped down a good amount of water to calm her nerves. She went to washroom and stood under the shower. Cold water started flowing down through her body making her wet. But she was not feeling anything. She stood like that for a long time under the shower letting the water hide her tears. Then she again came back to her room and lied down. She didn't realize when she fall asleep. Unknowingly, she went to deep slumber.

When Nandini got up, it was past evening. As soon as she woke up, she remembered all the events from morning once again and she felt her heart crunching.

"Why did I get up? I wish I would have never got up. Then I didn't have to bear the pain. I could have forgotten these pains." Nandini said in her mind and a tear fell from her eyes.

At Manik's place
Manik came back home with Suyyash. He was sad. He was hurt. Everything has now ended. He won't be close to Nandini anymore. There is no chance of both of them being together. Till now he was around her even though there was no romantic feelings between them or there was but now there was no use of thinking of it.

Why???

Why do this happen to me only?

Manik was thinking all this. When Kishwar and Suyyash knocked on his room door breaking his trance. He looked at the door and found them standing there.

Manik fixed his expression and tried to smile seeing them. He didn't want them to know what he was going through. "Mom Dad, why are you standing there? You don't need to take permission before entering my room."

"I saw you were lost so thought to knock." 

Kishwar and Suyyash came in and sat beside Manik on the bed.

"Manik, what did you think about going back? You really want to go back?" Suyyash asked.

Manik nodded his head not meeting their gaze. "Yes, dad. I will take care of our London Branch. You are here to take care of this one. I guess that branch needs more attention, we started it just a few days back."

Kishwar looked at Manik seriously. "Is it really about the work, Manik? or it's Nandini?"

Manik didn't meet her gaze looking away. "What about her? She is happy in her life and I am happy in mine. Till now may be she has already talked to Aryaman and solved all the problems between them. She loves him, that's why she had broken our relation, mom. There is nothing left for us." He smiled shortly at the end.

"Nandini is your legally wedded wife, Manik. You are forgetting it no matter in which consequences it happened. Will you really let her go for someone else? Talk to her. May be she will agree." Kishwar tried to make Manik understand.

"I think she wanted to say something when you were leaving but couldn't say. I could see there was something in her eyes for you. Talk to her Manik, before it's late." Suyyash patted his back.

Manik chuckled. "There is nothing to talk, dad. That was a weak moment and we helped her so much, may be for that she wanted to thank us. If she had loved me or she wanted to be with me, then she would have talked to me when we were in the farm house. She didn't try. On top of that, she committed suicide to go away from me without thinking twice."

"That moment it was different. Now it's different."

"Your mom is right, Manik. You should think of it. Marriage is not a deal. Manik. You can't just break it whenever you want to."

"Mom, dad, please leave the matter now. I don't want to talk about it now."

Kishwar and Suyyash sighed looking at each other but decided to leave for now. They left after wishing Manik good night.

Manik's pov
Don't you really feel anything for me, Nandini? What about all those moments when we were together? Were all of them a lie? Was everything about us a lie?

If you wanted to go away, then why had you ever come close? Why???

It's so hard to forget you. After so much happening also, I am not able to forget you. I want to hate you for whatever you did to me but this stupid heart always makes me remember that I love you.

Only you......

Why did you do this to us, Nandini? Was our love so weak or it was never love?

I don't want to let you go. I want to hold you in my arms for forever. I want to hold you close and hide you from the world. You also wanted that. Then what happened suddenly???

You shouldn't have done this Nandini. If you hadn't gone away, then till now our every dream would have been fulfilled which we had dreamt together.

Why, Nandini? Why???

How can I let you go without completing my revenge?
