Nandini got to know about Aryaman and Rockey planning against her. All the marriage and them being concerned for her was a part of their plan. She was shocked, hurt, angry and what not. Thankfully Manik was there to calm her down even though she was not sure about his sudden change.

She came back from office and directly moved to her room as she was not in a condition to talk to anyone. She freshened up and was taking rest. Laying down on the bed, she was thinking about the day's event. That time only Nisha came in.

"Uncle was looking for you. He asked you to meet him as soon as you come back."

Nandini frowned hearing her. She wondered whether he has got to know about her knowing everything or not. She looked at Nisha for a while before asking. "Why?"

She shrugged her shoulders in response. "Don't know. He said he is not feeling well. So, he asked me to tell you that he was calling you once you are back from office."

Hearing about him not feeling well, Nandini got worried. She got up from her place hurriedly. "Where is aunty? And what happened to him? Did you call the doctor?"

Nisha nodded her head. "She is with uncle. She said may be his bp has become low again. So, she asked not to call doctor. He will be fine soon."

Nandini sighed in relief. "Okay, you go. I am coming after sometime."

Nisha nodded her head and left from there.

Nandini took sometime to prepare herself to face Rockey after the not so small revelation in the office. She prepared herself to be calm and composed in front of him so that she doesn't spill out anything in front of him unintentionally. Because one wrong move from her can change the whole situation and she might not get to know the actual truth ever. No matter how hard it is still she wanted to know the reality.

After sometime when Nandini went to Rockey's room, he was sitting with the support of bed post. But seeing her, he sat properly.

"Nisha said you are not well. What happened? How are you now?" Nandini asked taking a sit beside the bed.

He tried to smile looking at her but it did not reach his eyes. "Better than before. I am getting old. All these are quite common at this time."

"Don't worry you will be okay. You had called me. Anything important?"

"Yes. I had called you to apologize. I shouldn't have behaved like that with you that day in the office. I went overboard and shouted on you. But what I would have done? I was worried for your future. That's why I got angry knowing you transferred all your properties to the jerk who left you at the time when  you needed him the most.

You had given your everything to someone else, then what will you do? What will happen with you? Thinking all that I got angry. That's why I told you so much that day. Don't take me wrong. We love you and Nisha a lot. We can't take it, if anything wrong happens with you two. Please forgive me."

Nandini took a long breath to control herself and pestered a smile on her face. "I didn't mind anything, uncle. I know you won't do anything wrong with us. You were just worried about our well being. I can understand."

Rocky caressed Nandini's hair lovingly. "I knew you will not misunderstand me. You are sensible to know who actually cares for you. You know how much we love you and Nisha. At least, you believe us forgetting others."

Nandini passed him a smile which is of course fake. She couldn't bear the fact that he is lying all the while. "Don't think all this now. You are not well, take rest. We can talk about this later too. We don't know what destiny has stored for us. You take care of yourself."

Rockey nodded passing a smile to her.

Nandini came out of Rocky's room closing the door behind and let out a breath which she was holding back till now.

"Which face of your is real uncle?

This one or that I saw in the office with Aryaman? Or the one I witnessed just now?

Can someone act so well for this long without making anyone have a doubt on him?

I am so confused. Can he really do anything like this with us or can he ever think of harming us?" Nandini thought in mind.

Nandini removed all these thoughts from her mind forcefully and took out her laptop to complete her office works. She was busy in her works when she heard her phone ringing. Without seeing the caller id, she picked up the call.

"Hello, who is this?" Nandini asked still typing something in laptop. Her whole focus was on the screen.

"Do I need to give my introduction all over again, sweetheart?" Told the person from other side in a shocking tone which was undoubtedly fake.

"Oh, Manik, you. Say..." Nandini said and checked the caller id this time.

"Why didn't you recognise me?" Manik asked like a baby making Nandini chuckle.

They both missed these moments of them.

"I was working so I didn't see the caller id. That's why couldn't recognise." Nandini replied smilingly. After a long time they are taking normally to each other.

Both of them realized how much they have missed each other.

"Okay, what were you doing?" Manik asked.

"I was working on one of the office projects. We need to submit it in a few days. Why did you call?" Nandini also replied.

"I was missing you a lot that's why I called." Manik told sarcastically.

Nandini could guess his sarcasm easily. "Manik, please stop your these nonsense. I am working now." She frowned.

"Okay. How's the atmosphere in your place? Had your uncle told you anything? Did you have any conversation with him?" This time Manik asked seriously.

Nandini could feel the seriousness in his voice. So, she also became alert. "Yes, je had called me saying he is sick and I have also talked to him some time back. But not about all this. I think we are misunderstanding him. He did not do anything. There is something which we are missing. We are doing wrong doubting on him. It's someone else who is trying to frame him." Nandini told him what she felt.

She was still unable to believe that Rocky can do something like this with them.

"Don't try to judge right or wrong, Nandini. You can't do that. You are so weak in doing so. If you had done that properly, then situations would have different today. So, let me do that. Don't be weak on him or fall for his sweet talks. Be careful and make Nisha alert as well. You both need to be sincere from now on." Manik warned her once more.

Before Manik could say anything more, Nandini cut the call. She was not in a mood to talk about all this. Her mind is messed up and she needed time to clear it. She needed some alone time to accept and believe that Rockey is actually behind their properties. All his love, concern, care was fake, a drama. Chucking all these thoughts, she again got busy in the office work. It will divert her mind for the time being.

At night, Nandini, Nisha with Rocky and Vishakha were having dinner together. Suddenly Rocky asked.

"Nandini, do you have any relation with Manik now?"

Hearing him Nandini's eyes went wide. She stopped eating and looked at him with a shocked expression. She gulped down her saliva fearing he has got to know about their marriage.

"Wh... why... Why are... Yu... you... as... asking this suddenly, chacha?" She fumbled playing with the foods on her plate.

"Aryaman was saying you have some relation with Manik. That's why he doesn't want to marry you."

Nandini was taken aback with the revelation. She thought they are still going along with their plan. "Aryaman  told this!?"

"Hmm..."

"I can't believe this! We had a conversation just a day back and he told me something completely opposite. He is saying me something and he changed his words in front of you. What kind of person he is?

Uncle, kindly tell him, if he has any complain and any problem with me, then talk to me directly. There is no need of playing double game like this. It won't be good for him only." Nandini uttered in a stern tone.

"Nandini, don't forget you are a girl and you have to follow certain rules of society. I have talked to him this morning. He didn't like seeing you with Manik. That's why he told this to me. Now you don't create a scene because of this." Rockey said angrily making Nandini angry as well.

"I didn't forget anything, uncle. But I am a girl that doesn't mean he can do anything. I won't let that happen, now it's time to end his double game. I will let him know his right place."

Nandini got up from table. Vishakha called her a few times from back but she didn't turn back and came back to her room. Then she messaged Manik.

"I am going to settle everything with Aryaman tomorrow. I can't take his double game anymore."

After sometime Manik replied.

"Okay. Fire him first after coming office. Then anything else. But make sure you don't lose your temper. He is only a puppet of this whole game. There is someone more dangerous hiding behind him There in no need of focusing on him so much."

Then Nandini called her PA and ordered her to prepare Aryaman's resignation later. She also instructed her strictly that she should get it tomorrow morning anyhow and till then no one even his uncle get any hint of it.
