"Excuse me, madam, is your mood off?"

Nandini was sitting in her office closing her eyes resting her head behind. She was feeling low but there was no one with whom she can share her turmoils. Hearing Manik's voice she opened her eyes. Manik rested his both hands on the either side of chair and moved close to Nandini's face.

Nandini was startled with his sudden voice. She composed herself immediately and threw a stern look to Manik. "When I have your unwanted presence in my life, then how can I be happy? My mood will obviously be off." She threw a glare to him.

Manik's face face showed hurt for a moment but Nandini didn't know it was real or fake. He hid it soon and chuckled. "Unwanted presence? But it was only me who was supposed to present in your life. Wasn't it? But you didn't let that happen. Now you have problem with me being in your office only."

Nandini was confused with Manik's word but she ignored it. "Manik, move. I am not in mood to talk about all this. You are here to work, right? So focus on that and let me do mine."

Manik smirked not moving from his place. "Nope. I am not in mood to move now. I am going to watch you. You are looking really pretty today."

Nandini flipped her hair backwards and sparing a duh look to Manik. "I am born pretty. Now move away or take a picture and look at it closely."

Manik was amazed with her reply. He raised his eyebrows in amusement. "Wahhh.... You are praising yourself only. Good."

"What about our divorce?"  Nandini asked to avoid other topics.

Hearing about divorce, the smile from Manik's face vanished. He moved more close to Nandini's face. Till now there was a shine on his face but it replaced with rage hearing about divorce. He tried to control himself with a great difficulty.

Manik moved dangerously close to Nandini's face looking into her eyes. "Why so hurry, baby? You have to wait a little more for that and bear my tortures for some more days. By the way I am loving it, aren't you?"

Nandini's anger rose again. "Are you serious? I am not liking it at all."

"So what. I can't do anything about that. It's your choice." Manik shrugged his shoulders. "By the way it's long since I have touched your lips with mine, so let's do it now." He uttered huskily.

Manik caressed Nandini's lips with his thumb. Nandini closed her eyes with their proximity. Her breath was going uneven. She was loosing control around him.

This man still held the power of making her go insane......

Manik was also lost in her. He always lose control around her and he can't do anything about that. Only he knew how he was holding back himself to take her in his embrace.

Nandini was breathing heavily. She clutched the collar of his suit. "Manik, no... Stop... Please..."

Manik was moving towards Nandini's face and she was protesting. When Manik was really close to her face, Nandini turned her face to other side breathing heavily. Manik smiled and kissed on her cheek. Then moved back.

Nandini was not expecting him to do this. She looked at him with wide eyes and tried to get back her normal breath. "I will take legal action against you. I will go to police station directly from here. I will tell them that you had deceived me and took away my all properties. I will also tell them you had kidnapped me and got married to me forcefully."

Manik faked a scared face. "Ohhh... Go and complain. But what will you tell them?" He pretended to be thinking something really deep. "You will tell them I had kidnapped you, I had married you forcefully all this. But you don't have any proof against me nor anyone will give statement against me. They will ask for proofs and witnesses, right?

About tortures... What will you tell them? You will tell them that I kissed you forcefully or I came this close to you or I asked you to feed me with your hands except that you can't say anything. You don't have any witness, Nandini.

But I have. I can prove that you had gone with me willingly and you had married me also in your own will. Uncle was there, you office stuffs were there. I have photos of those moments. Whatever happened there had happened with your permission. What had happened before that no one will get to know nor you can prove. You can't do anything."

Nandini pushed Manik away. She got up from her chair angrily and she was about to hold Manik's collar but before that he held her hands and pulled her close to him. He held her both hands with his in her back.

"Don't try to do this, Nandini. You are still in my hold. I can do anything." Manik asked in a stern tone.

Manik and Nandini were standing really close to each other, lost in their eyes when Aryaman entered into the cabin. He saw them in that position. Seeing them like this, Aryaman got really angry. He clapped seeing them.

"Wow, Nandini, very good. I must say you are doing an amazing job. Your got your old lover back. That's why you have so much problem in marrying me, right? So, from how many days all this is going on?" Aryaman shouted sarcastically throwing glares to Manik and Nandini. His eyes were spitting fire.

Seeing Aryaman Manik and Nandini got startled. They were totally lost into each other. As a result, they failed to notice when Aryaman came inside the cabin. Feeling his presence, they moved away from each other and Manik also left Nandini's hand. They composed themselves as fast as they could.

Nandini threw a last look to Manik and went to Aryaman. "Aryaman, stop, you are taking everything wrong. It's not the way you are thinking it to be. Let me explain." She tried to make him understand.

Aryaman was continuously glaring at Manik who was still standing at the same place looking at them. "Don't lie to me. I am not blind. I can see whatever happening behind my back. Tell me which one is wrong, Nandini? What I saw just a minute back that? You are not ready to marry me that? or you are betraying me that? Chiii!!! Nandini. You are engaged to me and here you are doing all this with another man......."

Till now Manik was hearing them quietly. He didn't care whatever happened between them but he could not be quiet anymore when he heard Aryaman pointing at Nandini's character. "May be you are forgetting with whom you are talking, Mr Khurana. Let me remind you something, you are just another employee of this company and Nandini is the owner of the company. So, watch your words before using." He stood just in front of me. His tone was cold which enough to scare anyone.

Aryaman had the same look on his face. He let out a sarcastic smile looking into Manik's eyes. "And may be you are forgetting something, I am her fiancée and it's our personal matter. Don't try to come between us. It's between us. So, better you stay out of this."

Aryaman threw a last look to Nandini before walking towards Nandini and held her shoulder in his tight grip. Nandini winched in pain. Manik was looking at them angrily gritting his teeth, trying to control himself.

"Tell me, Nandini, why did you do this to me? Why did you betray me? Was it really important to play with the emotions of my family? If you had loved Manik and wanted to be with him only, then why did you say yes to marry me? You could have denied simply, it's in your hand.

Here you are with another man when you are engaged to me. You got back to Manik, you transferred all your properties to him and last night when we discussed about our marriage, you didn't say anything to me. Still you were giving me hope about our marriage. Why?" Aryaman accused Nandini. He looked hurt.

Nandini was struggling in his grip as it was too tight on her. "Aryaman, leave me. You are hurting me. Don't  talk about those things, you don't know. Move behind and then talk to me."

Aryaman held her more tightly. She was trying really hard to stop her sob. "You have problem with my touch but when Manik was touching you, you didn't protest. You like him touching you? Tell me."

"Aryamannnn" This time Manik could not control himself. He removed Aryaman's hand from Nandini's shoulder. He moved close to him dangerously and glared him. His eyes were spitting fire. His looks could have burnt Aryaman. "Leave her, move back and then say what do you want to say."

Aryaman looked at him sarcastically. "Wow. You can touch my fiancee but you have problem, if I touch her. You don't have any right on her. But I have. So, just stay away."

Manik looked at him angrily. "You are her fiancee but I am her hus..."

Nandini's eyes widened, she shouted to stop him. She can't afford to mess all this anymore. It will bring more trouble. "Manik, just stop it. You don't need to speak between us. It's our matter." Before Manik could complete, Nandini stopped him. Then she turned back to look at Aryaman. "And Aryaman, we don't get right on others forcefully. We need to earn that. I didn't expect this from you. Now I really need to think of my decision again."

Then Nandini left from there and sat on her car. She asked her diver to go home. Nandini was sitting on the back seat closing her eyes. Suddenly she remembered something and opened her eyes.

"Ramesha uncle, how much Manik had paid you to do kidnap me? You are with us before my parents death actually from my birth. You have seen me growing up. You are like our family. Then how much Manik paid you that you forgot everything and deceived us? Didn't you think twice before doing so?" Nandini asked looking at him. Her voice was showing how hurt she was.

Ramesh folded his hands in front of Nandini and his eyes were teary. "I can't tell you anything now. Please forgive me."

Nandini smiled sarcastically. "Forgive? How can I forgive the one who betrayed? It was not only about betrayal but my life too. I trusted you so much."

"If you want, you can fire me. You can also complain against me to police. But please don't ask me anything. I can't tell you."

Nandini let out a breath and smiled curtly. "No, I won't do anything like this. I don't want to punish you. Now everything is happening against me. All the thing has already gone against me. Then how can I take any action against you? Also someone has asked something from me after a long time. I can't forget that."

"Nandini baby, you are very good and naive. That's why everyone tries to harm you and gets the courage to plan against you. Please be alert because your closest one will cause you the deadliest harm and you won't even realize.

You will never think that those person can harm you and I didn't take anything from Manik baba. I did all this only to save you. You don't know anything now but you will get to know everything soon. Then you will understand Manik baba is not wrong. He is trying to save you only." Ramesh told.

Nandini didn't say anything more. She picked up Nisha from school and returned home.
