Y/N woke up. Her head was hurting like hell. She can hardly open her eyes. She noticed her surroundings and was shocked for a moment. She was shocked that she wasn't in her room. The room was unknown to her.

It was a small room. The black sheets of the bed seemed old, in the bedside table there was glass but there wasn't any water in it. The lamp in the room wasn't so bright at all. The room has a side kitchen and there was a person in the kitchen. It seemed like the person was a man and he was cooking.

Totally it was creeping Y/N out. She was getting scared again. She was starting to sweat. But suddenly she remembered that before she fainted someone caught her and lifted her. And that was Taehyung. Now everything got cleared to her.

"Y/N, are you okay?" Y/N flinched by the sudden deep voice. She looked behind her and saw Taehyung standing there with a tray.

"Ahh, yeah Taehyung where am I?" Seeing Taehyung, Y/N was relieved.

"You didn't answer my question, by the way you're in my house. You fainted in the streets, that's why I took you in my shabby little place because I don't know where your house is." Taehyung sarcastically replied.

"Ohh, sorry actually I'm okay now... a little bit better than before. Thank you so much Taehyung for taking care of me. Maybe I caused you a problem and sorry for that."

"No, you didn't cause any problem. I was coming back from work. Today I didn't have my last part time job. That's why I was coming earlier today."

"Ohh, you shouldn't take me to your house. You can call unnie... ugh I'm so stupid."

"Y/N?" Suddenly Taehyung became serious. He directly looked at Y/N's eyes. Like he was trying to understand something.

Y/N replied, "Yes, Taehyung."

"Don't you take your medicine regularly?"

There was a silence for what seems like forever. Sometime later Y/N replied-

"I take my medicine regularly Taehyung. You don't have to worry about that. And I don't wanna talk to you about this matter anymore. Sorry Taehyung, don't mind. Please, that's my only request to you."

"I understand...sorry for bothering you. By the way, drink this soup. You'll feel better by drinking this."

"Ahh, Taehyung-ah I made you a lot of trouble. Aish, Y/N you're always being a trouble for everyone."

"Who told you that Y/N-shi? I'm alright. You didn't cause me any trouble. I'm fine. Drink this. It's getting late. I'll help you to reach your house."

"Don't need Taehyung, I can go by myself."

"Y/N, don't try to disobey my words. It wasn't a request, it was an order." Taehyung sternly ordered Y/N.

Somehow Y/N felt the dominance in Taehyung's voice. She also doesn't know why but she liked it. She likes the care which Taehyung gives her.

"Ok, appa." Y/N playfully said, rolled her eyes and giggled.

"Aish, Lee Y/N," Taehyung facepalms himself.

After drinking soup, Y/N felt a lot better. She didn't feel weak at all. She decided to leave for her house. Taehyung wore his jacket.

It was drizzling outside. So Taehyung decided to take an umbrella. There was only one umbrella in Taehyung's house. He decided that he'll give it to Y/N. Because she needs it more than him. But Y/N refused. She told Taehyung that she can't use it by herself. Then they started to argue.

Later, Taehyung got an idea. He proposed to Y/N that they should share the umbrella. The umbrella is quite big for them. They can easily share it with each other. Taehyung locked his door.

He holds the umbrella for them. Y/N's house was not too far from Taehyung's house. And as it was late and raining, there were no vehicles on the road. So they have to walk.

They were walking on the streets under one umbrella. Their hands were touching slightly. Y/N like this small act. She won't mind holding Taehyung's hand while walking. But this little act was different for Taehyung. The passersby were giving them a weird look while passing them. People must be thinking that they're a couple.

Y/N's POV

On a rainy day like this, I first met you Taehyung. And I fell in love with you at that time. I don't believe in love at first sight. But guess what this happened in my life. I was refusing it all the time that it wasn't love. But today, I really realize that it's nothing but only love.

I know that you don't love me. And I don't have a problem with this. I know about your situation, I know everything about you. And knowing your everything, I fall in love with you more deeply. I can't resist myself from loving you.

Every time I see you, I feel a new love for you. I don't know even I don't care if this feeling is good or not. I just want to love you. I just wanna be yours. I just wanna be into your arms. Please hold me tight. Don't let me go away from you. Please let me place my head on your shoulder.

The rain starts to pour heavily. Our bodies touch each other. These feelings... I can't describe them in words. Nothing can describe this kind of good feeling. I just want that moment to not end. I just want to spend more time with him. I just want to hold his hand. I just want to hug him tightly and tell him to not leave me.

I was wondering if Taehyung knew about my feelings for him. If he knew, would he accept me or not. Two years ago on a rainy night like this we met with each other. That night is something that I can't forget. That night will be in my memory forever.

Two years ago

"Aish, this rain didn't find any time to pour. Now how can I go home? I'm sure, appa, eomma must be waiting for me. Now they will worry for me. Ugh, Y/N you will never ever give peace to any people, will you? My phone is also dead. What will happen if my phone has charged? I don't have any balance in my phone. Why am I so messy? Ohh God, please help me this time." Y/N was babbling this to herself.

She just completed her tuition for her entrance exam. Today her tuition class ended late. And it was raining heavily also.

Y/N was thinking today is her bad day. First of all she didn't feel okay when she woke up in the morning. Then she left her home without eating breakfast. After that she didn't get any vehicle to go to her tuition.

It's not the end. Also she was scolded by her teacher because she couldn't give a correct answer for a question. Now it's already 9 pm. There were no signs of people or vehicles.

Suddenly Y/N wasn't feeling well. Her head was spinning. She was feeling like the whole world around her was spinning. She felt the urge to vomit. This caused her body to lose strength. She sat on the empty road under this heavy rain. There were no people to help her.

"Ohh, God. Not this time please. I'm already helpless. If this happens here, I can't do anything. Today I also didn't carry my meds. What is happening with me? Why is everything bad happening today? Eomma, Appa where are you all? I feel like I'm dying." Y/N thought to herself. She was crying.

Suddenly Y/N heard a dog was crying. She saw a small puppy on the other side of the road. He was also as helpless as her. Y/N can't stand by her own how she can go to save the puppy.

But Y/N is so kind hearted. She can be sick and even can't stand on her own because of her weakness but still she has the urge to save the puppy. The little puppy's miserable state made her feel worse than before. Her heart and mind wanted to go to that puppy to save him but her body didn't obey that.

At that time a man came at the sight. He saw the puppy's miserable state. It was already soaked by the heavy rain. Due to its small size it can't breathe because of the rain. The man quickly took off his black jacket and wrapped it around the puppy so that the puppy could be saved from the rain.

Y/N was amazed by the man's work. She thought that humanity is still in the world. Some people also have humanity. Suddenly Y/N's breath hitched. She can't breathe either. She feels like she'll faint anytime soon. She could guess her situation is worsening and anytime soon it'll be out of hand.

She thought to call the man. She didn't want any help from anyone and trouble others. Also she saw from her peripheral vision that the man was engaged to save the puppy. But due to the shortage of breath, she had no choice so she whispered, "Ahjussi, ahjussi... please help me."

The man heard some noise so he looked behind and saw that a girl was nearly laying in the road breathing heavily. The girl nearly fainted and was already lying in the wet road. He wrapped the jacket around the puppy so that it won't be affected by rain anymore, took him and ran to the other side of the road to see the girl.

Y/N nearly closed her eyes due to the weakness. The man asked her, "Hey girl! What happened? Are you fine? Hey, what's the problem? Do you need any help? Wanna drink some water?"

Y/N just nodded her head. The man gave her a bottle of water from his backpack. Y/N can't hold the bottle. Her hand was shaking. Then the man helped her to drink the water.

After drinking water, Y/N's breath began to become normal but the rain and the cold weather wasn't helping at all. So the man took off his black hoodie and wrapped it around Y/N to make her warm.

"How many layers of clothes has he worn on his body?" Y/N thought to herself.

"Are you feeling well now?" The man asked.

Feeling the warmth of his body Y/N felt relieved. "Yeah, I'm feeling better now. Thanks for your help." Y/N whispered.

"Where's your home? Tell me, I'll drop you there."

"No need, ahjussi, thank you. I'm fine now. I can go home. Thanks again." Y/N weakly stood up and bowed to the man.

She couldn't balance herself and was about to fall but the man held her. " You don't seem like you're fine. You rarely can stand. You're weak. How can you go home in this heavy rain? There is no vehicle either." The man asked.

"Ahjussi, my house is next stop. I can go by myself."

"If you don't want me to drop you home, then okay... but take this umbrella. If you go like this you'll catch a cold." The man forcefully gave her his umbrella.

Then he noticed the puppy shivering and crying again. "Actually, sorry I need to go. I have to take this puppy to a hospital. Go home safe." The man hurriedly told her.

"Don't be sorry... it's okay and I'm feeling better now. Thank you again for your kind help. And you also go home safely." The man smiled at her and ran away while taking the puppy in his arms.

In the neon light of the road, Y/N saw the man's face though it wasn't clear at all because of the heavy rain and her blurry vision. But seeing the man's face she guessed that the man whom she is calling ahjussi is a boy. Maybe the boy is the same age as her. She facepalms herself because of her foolishness. It was a second hand embarrassment for her.

Y/N opened the umbrella. She unknowingly smiled to herself. She feels a lot better now. The hoodie still has the warmth of his body and it feels nice to her. It calms her mind, body and soul. Just the weakness is causing her to walk abnormally. She comes back home safely then.

After reaching home, she thought about the man the whole night. The yellow umbrella and the black hoodie which were given by the man attracts her all the time. She couldn't even concentrate on her studies that day. She was hoping to meet the man again.

At last she fell asleep thinking about him and hugging his black hoodie.

Next morning, after waking up, Y/N went to a convenience store. She didn't know why but she wore that man's black hoodie and went to eat breakfast in a convenience store. The morning was sunny. Who can tell that the earlier night was raining heavily. The morning's weather has totally changed.

After entering the convenience store she quickly grabbed her favorite buldak carbonara ramen, kimchi tuna kimbap and banana milk. When she was eating the kimbap, a person tapped her shoulder. She looked behind her. She saw a boy looking at her. The boy was checking her head to toe. She also stared at the boy with her mouth filled with food.

The boy asked her, "I think you can't recognize me. But I can recognize you by your dress. I'm the person who saved you last night."

Y/N immediately gulped her food and respectfully bowed to him, "Annyeonghaseyo, ahju-I mean...umm..."

The boy chuckled at her. "My name is Kim Taehyung." The boy replied.

"Ahh, annyeonghaseyo, Kim Taehyung-shi. Thank you for the help. If you didn't help me last night, I don't know what will happen to me. Thanks again." Y/N respectfully bowed again.

"By the way, my name's Y/N, Lee Y/N." Y/N told him.

"Cute name." Taehyung mumbled.

"Huhh!!"

"Nothing, by the way, I got to go. Nice to meet you. Have a nice day." Taehyung bade her goodbye and went about his own business.

"Kim Taehyung, nice name." Y/N giggles to herself and eats again while thinking about the boy whom she met a while ago. She became shy while thinking about him.

"He's so handsome,tall... ahhh Y/N don't think about it like that." Y/N giggles to herself.

Then it clicked to her mind that she was wearing his hoodie. That's why he told her that and was checking her out. She facepalmed herself again from the embarrassment.

"Ugh, why am I like this? Uff...". Telling it to herself she continued her eating session happily.

Then after Y/N got admission in Seoul University, she again met Taehyung. They were in the same class. She thought about giving the umbrella and hoodie to Taehyung but for some reason she kept it for herself. These were so memorable for her.

She always wanted to befriend Taehyung. But Taehyung wasn't the type to merge with girls too much. He wants to keep himself reserved. Although his friends made him so friendly. After one year they all got busy. Y/N also became busy and ambitious and didn't get time to think about Taehyung anymore.

But that doesn't mean her feelings fly away, it just subsided for the time being.

Back to the present time

"Y/N-ah? What are you thinking? I was calling for you for a long time. Where have you lost?" Y/N came back into reality by the voice of Taehyung.

"Uhh, sorry, Taehyung, sorry...I was lost for a while."

"It's okay...we're already in front of your home now. Now go inside your home."

"Hmm, I'm going. You go first."

"Nah, you go first."

"No, you head first."

"Y/N, don't argue...go inside first."

"Why don't you head back and I go inside also?"

"Good idea. You have some brain now."

"YAHHH,KIM TAEHYUNG."

"Hahaha, I'm going now. You go inside and take care of yourself. Also don't forget to take your meds."

"Okay, I'll. Don't worry. Get back home safely. Bye."

"Bye." Then Taehyung turned back and headed for his home.

Y/N also opened her door and went inside. She was memorizing everything that had happened until now. It is a good memory for her. She looks back at Taehyung. She started at Taehyung's back. She just wants Taehyung to look back at her, just for once.

To her surprise, Taehyung turned his back, looked at her, smiled and waved at her. At that moment, Y/N just wanted to run to get into his arms and hugged him tightly like her life depended on it.

But sadly she can't do that...

Y/N also smiled back and waved at him. Then Y/N went inside her house while smiling like an idiot and closed the door.

On the other side of the door, something tragic happened. Did something happen to Taehyung or to someone whom we're trying to find out?
