Both the guys started to sweat as they saw Rk, hero of the college standing a few distance away from them with his best friend sikky trailing him.. 

"what's going on here.. ??"rk asks them as he stepped towards them.. 

"Rk.. That v.. "nikhil started to say, sweating profusely but stopped when he earned a sharp glare from Rk.. Aanand swatted nikhil lightly with his shoulder.. 

"That.. Rk.. V were just ragging her.. " Aanand said fidgeting.. 

"Ragging or harassing..?? There is a big difference between ragging & harassing.. Hena sikky..??"Rk asked turning to sikky.. 

"Yes.. Yes.. Shall we show them an example to define the difference between two..??"sikky asks with a smirk which made both Aanand & nikhil go pale as they think of the possibilities that rk could do to them.. Because they know what is Rk & what happen to the ppl who dare to mess up with him.. But these creeps were not ready to give in so easily.. 

"Rk.. U better don't interfere in this matter..."nikhil said faking courage.. Rk smirked.. 

"Aahaan.. Seems like he has much enough courage to face Rk's wrath.. I'm not in a mood to put on a fight so you better apologize her.. "rk said with an edge in his voice.. 

"what if v say no..??"nikhil challenges him.. 

"Sikky, what v will do when they r not ready to cooperate.. ??" rk asked as he fisted his hands.. 

"I will say.. "Aanad said to him noticing the change in his aspect.. 

"Then say.. "rk says to him in an unfriendly manner..

"I'm sorry.. "he said as he gulped ..

"U may go.. "without wasting a minute he flee from there leaving nikhil alone with them there.. "Now ur turn.. "rk said looking at him crossing his hands against his chest.. 

"Pls.. No need of sorry & all.. "dips said as she looked a furious Rk.. 

"U shut up.. "he spats at her which made her flinch back..

"I said, say sorry to her.."he roared.. 

"& I said i won't.. "he said stubbornly & the next moment his nose started to bleed bcoz of the hard punch he got from Rk.. Dips looked at him unbelievably.. He punched him just like that..!! 

Rk started to punch on his stomach & he fell on his knees clutching his stomach.. He kicked on his back & he fell before her feet.. 

"I'm sorry.. "nikhil said by holding his head when rk was about to kick him again.. Hearing him rk steeped back & somehow nikhil managed to stand up & walk off there staggering not before giving a death glare to him...

"Thanks.. "she tanked him for the help..

"What thanks..??"he asked her furiously.. "what type of a girl u r..??don't u know to stand for urself..??"

"That.. I.. "she stammered.. He looked at her for a while & then stepped closer to her, dips felt her heart pounding against her chest & she closed her eyes when she saw him leaning towards her.. 

"Eww.. This is ur first day here right..?? U should have taken ur shower before coming to college na.. ??"dips flung opened her eyes hearing his comment..

"What..?? I did .."she says shocked & stared to smell herself while rk burst out into laughter.. 

"God... U r really a dumb.." Rk said still laughing while sikky looked him amused.. 

"what's ur name.. ??"rk asked her after a while.. 

"deepali.."she says.. 

"Oh.. Hm.. Don't u have a pet name..??"rk asks her.. 

"No.. "she replied confused.. 

"So.. What should i call u.. Hm.. Deepa..no.. Deepu.. No it sounds like boys.. Hm.. Dips.. Yeah.. Dips.. "rk smiled finally getting a name while she wondered y he is giving her new names.. 

"U can go now, dips.. "rk said but she didn't budge an inch.. 

"What..??"rk asks seeing her standing there still.. 

"y u beats up him..??"dips asks him hinting about nikhil & his friend... Rk frowned a bit before giving an answer "Bcoz Rk likes it.. "he said with attitude.. "& no one dares to mess up with us.. "sikky added for Rk... 

"did you get it..??"sikky asks arrogantly, she nods her head & went away from there like a scared kitten.. 

"she is different, isn't she...??"rk asks sikky with a smile playing on his lips.. 

"Rk... This is injurious to ur heart.. "sikky said with a smirk.. 

"What..??"Rk asked confused...

"She.. Love at first sight & heart break at break up..."sikky said & rk rolled his eyes.. 

"stop ur assumptions, sikky.. I just found her interesting nothing more than that.. "he said.. 

"Oh really..??" sikky made a face.. 

"yeah.. She is not my type.. U know i want a jungili billi not a normal billi..."rk says.. 

"oh Mr. Rk.. This is her first day only, what if she turn out to be a jungili Billi later..??"sikky asked..

"I will think of it then.. "rk winked at him.. 

After 2 weeks

Within the short period of time dips managed to get few friends from her batch & among them tia turned out to be her bestie.. They were sitting in the canteen chewing their food as it was lunch break... 

"hey dips.. Y r u not eating.. ??"tia asked her seeing her playing with the spoon instead of eating.. 

"I'm full tia & pls don't call me by that name.. "dips said.. 

"Y..?? Coz Rk give u that name..??"tia asked with a sly smile..

"Uff.. Don't remember me about that moron.. I agree he did save me that day but it doesn't give him the right to stalk me.."she said as she leaned back to the chair.. 

"Stalk u..??"tia asks her confused.. 

"hmm.. Whenever he see me, he will come behind me like a puppy with some random questions.. He is such a flirt.."dips said by rubbing her forehead with her palm...

"Yes, he is but v can't do anything in this matter.."tia said with a grin.. 

"What... He flirt with other girls too..??"dips asks perplexed as a pang of jealousy hits her.. 

"Of course... It's his main hobby.. "tia said seeing her shocked expression.. 

"Pervert..!!"she muttered gritting her teeth.. 

"hey, he is not that.. "tia said her angrily..

"U only said.. "dips retorted.. 

"I only said he is a flirt that doesn't mean he is a scamp.. "tia said her.."I know him from yrs.. "she added ..

"How..?? This is ur first year, right..??"dips asked her confused.. 

"U know sikky..?? He is my cousin.. Rk used to come to my home with sikky.. Sikky only had time to speak about him... He is such a darling yaar.. He likes pulling others' legs but he never disrespects anyone & he doesn't like others doing it.. If any of his friends has a problem, he will be the first one who stands for them.. "tia said.. 

"I'm sorry.. "dips says looking down guiltily.. 

"It's ok.. He is like my brother so I can't hear someone badmouthing him.. "tia said with a smile & dips smiled back at her.. Dips was lost in thoughts of him when someone tapped on her shoulder.. She looked up & saw rk standing right behind her with sikky.. 

"what r u doing..??"he asked her.. 

"can't u see.. V were having our lunch.. "tia replied him.. 

"hey, rabbit.. I didn't ask u.. "rk said which made ria angry.. He had called her rabbit.. Her nickname.. That too before her best friend.. She looked at deepali who let out a chuckle hearing that. 

"don't dare to call me by that name..."she uttered irritated.. 

"challenging Rk..??"he asked with a smirk.. 

"U r not Rk but Pk.. Dips, do u know what's his pet name..??"tia asked with an evil smirk.. 

"U rabbit.. "rk warned.. 

"Rishuu.. Shu.. Shu.. Shu... "dips spit out the water that she was drinking hearing ria calling rk by his pet name.. Rk closed his eyes in embarrassment.. No one in the college except sikky knew that his pet name was rishu.. The reason is he feel like a 5 year old in that name.. 

"My rishu boy.. He looks so cute.. U know once U peed in ur shorts seeing ur maths teacher when u were small.. Now u grown up into a big man.. "tia repeated the same lines which his mother used to say him while sikky earned a glare from him for disclosing his every small things to her.. At least he could exclude the pee incident.. 

"OMG.. OMG.. "their attention broke with the surprised yell of deepali... "U peed in ur shorts..?!!"she shout out it loudly which made the ppl present there look at them.. Rk closed his eyes in humiliation.. 

"I can't believe this.. The great Rishab kundra pe... "before she continue with her blabber he palmed her mouth & glares at her hardly.. 

"What..?? Is here any movie running on.. ?"rk asked irately seeing the ppl watching them on.. Everyone shook their head & went back to mind their own business... Rk left from there after giving a look to tia & dips.. Dips felt bad for embarrassing him before everyone.. 

After 2 months

Rk never talked to dips after that incident through no one spoken about that incident even for once.. if he accidentally sees her somewhere then he will start to walk to another direction.. She felt like missing him.. True.. He was behind her only for about 2 weeks but she did like it.. Him behind her made her feel she has someone for her.. 

"I want to talk with u.. "dips turned to the direction hearing a familiar voice...

"Rk..??"she calls shocked...

"Err... Tia want u to attend my birthday party.. "rk said a bit uncomfortably..

"U don't want me to attend..??"dips asked as her face falls a little.. 

"U won't be uncomfortable with me there..?? "rk asked seeing her expression.. He does want her to attend his birthday party but he thought she would reject his invitation if he ask her directly ..

"I would be happy.. "she said smiling, seeing her smiling he too smiled at her.. 

"Today..??"she asks.. 

"Yes.. Tonight 8 pm at hotel orchid.. U will come with tia.. "he said & was about to leave when dips says "Happy Birthday.. "

"Thanks.. "he says smiling.. Seeing his retreating figure she fixed one thing in her mind.. She is gonna say everything to him.. She is going to tell him that she has feelings for him... She doesn't know what's in his mind but she wants to tell him what's in her mind.. She want to tell him that she had fallen for him on the very first day of their meeting itself.. 

At night (hotel orchid)

Rk & his friends were busy in the party venue when dips & ria reached.. Dips smiled spotting him in a corner talking with two elderly couple.. Seems like his parents.. 

"Rk.."rk looked at her who is smiling at him warmly.. 

"Hah.. Deepali..."he smiled at her turned to the elderly couple "Mom, Dad.. This is my friend, deepali.. "rk introduced her to them & they went into a small chit chat.. After he done with the cake cutting she gets some free space to talk with him as she saw him standing in the garden outside the party hall..

"Y did u come outside.. ??"she asked him as she stand next to him.. 

"just felt the need of fresh air.. "he said shrugging.. 

"Happy Birthday once again.."she said by giving him a small gift box.. 

"gift..!!"he looked at her wondered.. 

"Then what u thought I will come here with bare hands.. ??"she asks him.. 

"No.. It's just.. "he shakes his head & takes it from her hand not before saying "Thanks"

"open it.. "she says.. 

"Now..??"

"yes.. It's not just a gift.. It's something special.. This is something special to me.. "

"Then y did u give it to me..??"rk asked.. 

"bcoz u r also special to me.. "he looked at her shocked then composing himself he opened it & found a diary in it.. He opened it & saw some drawings.. 

"U do draw quite nicely, dips.. "he says & continued to turn pages when suddenly his hands stop from turning the pages further...

He stood froze seeing the name.. 

"I love u, Rishab.. Will u give me that name..??"dips asked him.. Seeing his shocked expression she asked him worried "what happened..?? Don't u like me..?? Sorry.. I thought..."before she could complete her sentence he hugs her tightly.. "I love U too... I didn't know how to say u.. But, oh god.. I can't believe this.. Yes.. Deepali.. I will marry u & make u Mrs. Rishab kundra.. "he said as he breaks the hug...

"Ma & papa knew about this..??"madhu asked sikky.. 

"No.. He was afraid that he would lose her when he say about her to his parents.. He thought his parents would never allow him to marry her as she was an orphan & Rishab would never go against his parents' words.. "sikky said & she it knew very well than any other one.. 

"What happened after that..??"madhu asked him..
