Sitting on the bed decorated with Rose petals she looked around the spacious bed room..hearing the sound of the door opening she looked at the direction to spot her husband at the door step.. He stared at her for few minutes, closing the door behind him he took unstable steps towards the bed.. Madhu tried to study his facial expression, but damn she's too nervous to look up at him.. Stumbled & falls on the bed.. Madhu looked him wide eyed... 

He is drunk..!! He came drunk on the very first night of his wedding..!!

Madhu moved back to the available space of bed looking at him wide eyed.. With much difficulty he balanced himself & sat up on the bed looking at her disgusted as if she's some tiny piece of garbage..

"Who the hell allowed you to be in my room..??"he shouted at her furiously which made her look him bewildered.. 

"Got what you wanted, Right..?? Now what are you waiting for just leave me alone or do you want anything more..??"he sputters to her & she just looked him totally confused & numb.. She got what she wanted..!! What does he mean by that..?? 

"Speak up.. "his heavy volume pulled back her into her senses... 

"Whaa.. What..do.. Yo..you.. Mean...??"she asked him fumbling with words.. 

"Oh.. You should try in acting field.. I agree you are a good actor.. "he clapped at her & continued "but don't show ur acting skills on me.."he said by moving close to her face & she turned her face as the strong scent of alcohol enters into her nose.. 

"I really..don't know..what you are..speaking about.."she managed to say it without gobbling the words..

"R u deaf..?? can't you hear what i have said..?? Out.. Just Get Out...!!!"he again screamed at her.. This time madhu thought to be a little more strong.. She want to know what she had done.. If there is any fault at her place then she has no problem for taking his punishment for her mistake.. But at first she want to know what the mistake is.. It's not been a day since she is in her sasual.. & she Wonder what mistake had she did with in this short time for him to burst out at her like this.. 

"I'm your wife & moreover i have the right to know what mistake i had done.. "she said sternly, unlike the other two times.. 

"oh.. so u r showing the authority of a wife, madhubala... Then just hear this.. U r nothing for me.. I don't accept u as my wife ever.. Seriously i don't get y u species are behind money, don't u have a thing named heart.. ??You might don't have one, so you thought with ur brain, Right Miss Malik.. "he said slightly hurt... 

"What u r saying..?? Do u think I'm behind ur money.. ??"madhu asks unable to hide her shock.. 

"or what..?? How could u agree for the marriage with a stranger like me..??"rk asked her agitated...

"Our parents were happy with this alliance, so.."she was cuts off by him "but I'm not.."he says angrily at the mention of parents.. 

"Then y didn't u tell this early..??"madhu asks him furiously.. How can he say this after everything was over..??Now they r married & it's not going to change in any case.. She waited for the answer but when she didn't get any reply from him, she looked at him to see him sleeping so peacefully.. She sighed as she tried to digest everything that he had said.. & as usual it was a sleepless night for her.. 

Morning 

Rk opened his eyes with a heavy head.. He sits up on the bed & looked around.. 

"God...!!"he groaned pressing his head with his hand as it pained like hell.. He opened his eyes suddenly as last night's events came back to him.. God what he had just said her..?? What if she tell about this to his parents.. ??They would be broken then.. He just couldn't control his emotions in his subconscious state... His heart spoke with her instead of his brain & he never wanted to let that happen.. He heard the opening sound of the wash room & spots madhu coming out by wiping her hairs.. He frowned & looked at the timepiece.. It shows 7.30 AM... So one more defect of her came into his list.. She won't wake up earlier than him.. He used to wake up 5 or 5.30 except for few days like this.. She went in front of mirror, after done wiping her hairs with towel, she plugin the hair dryer to the socket, turning the switch on drying her hair unaware of his gaze at her.. 

He was about to avert his gaze when his eyes fell on her her curvy waist.. She's wearing a simple thin netted red Saree with golden borders & blouse.. He hated to admit but he stared at her more than a minute, realizing he has been checking her out, suddenly he tried to avert his gaze by looking up only to get the sight of her bare back as she is wearing a low back blouse with a dhori hugging her back making it more fit to her.. This women..!! with what she's made up of..?? Yesterday tried to get his sympathy by saying she did everything to make their family happy & Now, trying to seduce him by showing off her body.. But he is not going to fall in her crooked plans... He mentally sighs... After drying her hair she combed her hair neatly & let her long curly hairs flow down her back covering her skin there.. She turned to leave then only she noticed Rk sitting up on the bed wide awake... After what all happened previous night madhu was too awkward to face him so she just tried to go away from there without initiating a talk... 

"Madhubala..."she stops & turns when she hears him calling her.. He gets off the bed & went near her..

"Hmm.. Yesterday.. I.. I was a bit over.. I..pls Don't say about it to Mom & Dad.. "he tells her hesitantly & she nods looking away...

"Thanks.. "he says & turned to go to freshen up..

"Rishab.. "she calls him & he stops without turning.. 

"y did u marry me if u didn't want a marriage..??"madhu asks him sternly who has his back to her.. 

"I was forced into this alliance.. "Rk says her still showing his back to her.. 

So that was the reason why he did marry her.. Just bcoz of parents' pressure.. 

"U could say me at least.. "she said by looking away.. He remained silent for a moment, then without a word he left from there..

After the shower Rk went down for breakfast & finds his parents are already seated & madhu coming out from kitchen with a bowl which contain kheer in her hand.. 

"Ha Rishu.. Come.. "radha calls him smiling at him.. Rk nodded & seated with them..Madhu moved to serve kheer to Mohan, "madhu, Rishu is ur husband na so u should serve it to him first.. "radha says by smiling... Madhu nodded with a smile & went to Rk & serves him..

"Madhu, made it specially for u.. Have it & say how is my bahu's cooking skills..."radha added it from her side... Rk couldn't deny it before their presence so he had a spoon...

It tastes good, but it couldn't be commended as excellent.. Just okay.. 

"It's.. Good.. "he said casually.. 

"Madhu.. U too join us.. "radha suggested.. 

"No, i will eat later.. "madhu tried to deny politely, while radha & mohan thought that she is being typical where the real reason is there's only one seat available which is next to him & she felt it too awkward to sit beside a person who's not even considering her as a human being...

"Y this formality before us.. V r also ur family..."radha said, finally having no other option she sits with them & had her breakfast.. 

**Ring-Ring**

Rk's phone starts to ring..he picks up his cell from his tracks pocket & answered the call.. 

"Hello.. "

"yes...bittuji.. "

"Hmm...ok.. I will be there by this weekend till then you can mange it na..?"

"Ok.. Thanks for informing.. "he ended the call & kept back his phone.. 

'What happened, Rishu.. "mohan asked him.. 

"That.. Dad.. I have to go back.. There everything is in a messy way.. Some important works come up.. I have to be there.. Bittuji can't manage everything alone.. "Rk said him.. 

"Oh.. "mohan said while madhu looks them confused.. Going back...?to where..?? 

"y so fast rishu, Ur marriage was yesterday & u r talking about going back today itself.. "radha's talk about marriage made him uncomfortable which didn't go unnoticed by  madhu.. 

"Mom.. This is so important.. I have to be there.. "rk said..

"Madhu, Malikji told us you were in Mumbai before u settling here, Right..??"radha asked her for which she nodded confused.. 

"So, U won't be uncomfortable with the sudden shift na..?"radha asks.. 

"Ma, u r saying about what.. Y would v shift..??"madhu asks confused... 

"madhu, Rishu is working in our company's branch at Mumbai.. Don't u know..??"radha asks equally confused.. Madhu feels like her heart stops beating, her face went pale..  

"Mumbai..??"madhu asks again to confirm that her ears are not tricking her.. 

"Yes.. "Radha replied.."what happened..??is there any problem..??"she asks seeing her pale face.. 

"nothing.. It's just.. When i heard about shifting suddenly.. "she stammered.. 

The breakfast was silent after that.. Once she completed her food she rushed to her room to grab her phone.. Picking up her phone she dials Malik's number & he answered her call within few rings.. Without waiting for any reply from the other side she asks him "Why didn't u say me this papa.. ??"

"Madhu... What happened..??"Malik asked worried hearing her.. 

"why didn't u say me i have to go to that place if i marry him..??"she didn't even mind to mention the place as her father know which is the only one place where she dreaded to go ever.. 

"Madhu, I knew u would ask this... But madhu, U have to move on.. "Malik said her.. 

"But papa.. I.. Don't... I can't.. I.."she tried to suppress her wail but fails as it came out of her mouth in the form of soft sobs... 

"Madhu, pls dear.. It hurts me when u cry.. "

Malik said, his voice breaks.. Madhu quickly wipes her tears "No papa, I'm not crying.. I..pls.. I will go.. It's just,i will miss u ..."madhu simply lied for him, malik knew about it but didn't say anything.. 

"I will be there with u always madhu... Be always happy & try to forget everything... That city might gave us some painful memories, try to erase it with new beautiful memories.. "saying this Malik cuts the call as he knew she is in the verge of crying & it's the last thing he ever wanted to happen.. 

"Papa said right... Everything ends there & Now everything should start from there itself.. "madhu thought determined..
