The multiverse was real, or I was reliving the same dream over and over. Life seemed to be repeating itself in an endless cycle.
The slight changes were barely noticeable at this point. Each life clashed into another, making memories fuzzy and days long.
The only thing tying them together was one person, a name, perhaps.
Peter Parker.
It had all started when I died my first life. I was in the arms of my first love, Harry. I had a glass shard stuck in my torso and lost too much blood.
I watched the light fade from his eyes and knew I'd be next, but I was okay with that because I was with my two boys, Harry Ozwald and Peter Parker.
Even if Peter had swung me around the city and rushed me to a hospital, I wouldn't have made it.
So I laid down and closed my eyes, telling my best friend one last thing.
"Keep swinging, Spidey."
And then I woke up. I woke up in a warm bed and soft clothes. It seemed to repeat, wake up, help Spiderman, die, and repeat.
After the tenth time, it got pretty annoying, waking up in your teenage body, the only sigh that it was all real, being the jagged scar across my stomach.
This time, I awoke to someone shaking me.
"Meave, Meave, wake up! We're gonna miss the bus!"
With a groan, my eyes fluttered open. "What?" I mumbled.
The boy, who looked much like me, rolled his eyes. "Come on, Em, you're not even dressed!"
I groaned and threw off the covers. My back cracked as he walked away. With a sigh, I stood up and walked over to slide doors.
Pulling it open, it revealed my closet. I ruffled through the clothes and picked what I thought looked best.
A plain white T, black jeans, a leather jacket and a pair of combat boots. Looking in the mirror, I pushed my brunette- now dyed blonde and pink- hair over my shoulder and quickly used the restroom and the grey bookbag beside the door.
I rounded the corner and walked down a set of stairs, noticing a yellow bus pulling up. With a grunt, I rush down the stairs, almost tripping.
I noticed my presumed brother already leaving, not caring to check for me.
"The bratt." I mumbled and quickly rushed into the bus before the doors closed.
It was hot and musty, the ac barely working. I walked to the back, sitting in an empty seat, waiting until we reached the school.
I ruffled through to see if I could find my schedule, which I successfully did.
Great, English.
With a sigh, I leaned back and reached into my pocket.
FUCK, I forgot to check for a phone.
Let's say, that was just the start of a bad day.
