Jungkook sighed deeply, pulled himself together, and dashed to his car, which was parked a little further away. He walked slowly into the coffee shop after opening his door and retrieving his iPad tablet. He could hear laughter coming from the VIP room, where Taehyung and Jimin were seated with their food.

He pretended to be on his phone, looking down at his iPad. When he arrived, the group looked at him with curiosity, as well as relief that he wasn't causing trouble for Jenna.

He smiled at them as he closed his phone and iPad cover and took a seat.

"Oh, you did!" exclaimed Jung Suk. "Gukie, excuse me while I notify the kitchen to bring you your  brunch...Jimin, please keep that thought," he exclaimed to Jimin." I'm curious about your trip to Australia...it sounds hilarious."

Jungkook took a seat and looked at his two young men with interest. "What was the deal?"

"Did you confront Jenna?" Tae Hyung asked, his eyes narrowing. He was concerned by Jungkook's calm demeanor.

"No," Jungkook shook his head. "What's the point? I'm done with her... she's a relic of the past." However, a small crack in his voice betrayed him. By no means is he over her. When he saw her again, the pain in his heart returned. He just can't get over how cruelly she affected him.

Jimin snorts, and his brows were wrinkled. "When you saw her with the handsome Mr. Lee Jung-suk, you looked as if you could kill her."

"I don't care about their alleged relationship," Jungkook said dismissively. "She isn't worth it. If Jung-Suk is attracted to her, he will lose more than just his heart! Can we just change the subject? I don't want to lose my appetite thinking about that witch!"

Taehyung and Jimin exchanged discreet glances, knowing full well that Jungkook is not pleased to find himself in a situation where one of his close friends has feelings for his ex.

When the waitress brought his food, he just dug in, unconcerned about his young men's eyes narrowing on him. Because of Jungkook's annoyance, they knew they should just drop the subject. They were aware of his brief altercation with his ex. The evidence was clear as he dug into his food with intent.

The maknaes talked about their lives and their experiences as "Undercover Ceos." During its airing, that reality show had extremely high ratings. The Bangtan Ceos received a lot of attention. Jimin relished every minute of it, even if it meant breaking a girl's heart.

But Jimin isn't done talking about Ms. Song.

"We thought we had to drag you out after you gave your ex the dagger looks," Jimin smirked.

Jungkook scrunched up his nose and narrowed his eyes at Hyung. "Well, I was just surprised to see her here. How did she meet Jung Suk? He had broken up with his long-term girlfriend. Is he prepared for another failed relationship?"

He appeared calculating, but his voice sounded curious. He doesn't understand why he feels this way about her and Mr. Lee. Does Mr. Lee like his ex? It makes him feel strange. Even though he is about to marry Sullia, he just can't get over the fact that his ex is finally ready to date again and in his friendship circle.

She had been single for nearly two years. Why is she starting to date now? Now she has her sights on Lee Jung Suk, and he doesn't feel good about it. Not on his watch. She will ruin the soft-hearted Jung-Suk.

He despises feeling vulnerable in this way, even though they both appear to have moved on.

Tae Hyung sipped his hot drink and teased his nonchalant friend, "Gukie, you look troubled to see her with Jung Suk. I'm not sure what she has to do with him, but he seemed to be in love with her. She appeared to be progressing. Let her be happy for a change." When Taehyung looked into his former friend's pain-filled eyes, he became unsettled. He was her friend first, and Jungkook saw her and fell madly in love with his nerdy friend, who rejected him almost eleven times. She didn't want to date super-rich men and be used by them. Jungkook worked extremely hard to win her love...only to end up hating her passionately.

Jungkook has a stern expression on his face.

" Could we please not talk about her...? I'm asking you nicely," he said with a pout. The boys make fun of his pouting face.

"Oh, she was a deceitful gold digger, and wasting our breath is futile. So, Gukie... I heard Eunjin is finally going to divorce that cheating low-life of a husband of hers." Jimin states.

Jungkook looks to be saddened. "Yes, my sister had a lot of marital problems with her husband. She couldn't take his affair any longer and decided to let him go. He only moved into his new apartment three days ago, which he purchased for his little adventure with that nurse. Eunjin, on the other hand, does not seem to be dealing with the end of her marriage. She is also devastated because Eomma gave Lalisa her desired position as Marketing Director. She had hoped to run the marketing division, but oh well... "

"I saw Eunjin a few days ago," Tae Hyung said with a shake of his head. "She looked very unhappy and kind of distracted, but her boy, Kwan, is everything to her."

Jungkook shrugs, "Yeah...my Eomma doesn't make it any easier. Eunjin had four miscarriages, but after giving birth to a miracle, her husband decided to cheat on her. Her happiest time was also her most tormented. Right now, I'm concerned about her mental health."

Jimin frowned. "Why?" He sipped from his latte.

"She began drinking again, and when she is depressed, she falls deeper into despair; they even put their mansion up for sale. She had also heard about a new development in Ulsan and was interested in seeing the apartments. She is in Ulsan with Ningning. She considers becoming a stay-at-home mom and working for Jeon from home, online. She wants to leave Busan and Seoul behind and relocate here. I'm going to miss that little guy a lot." He expressed his regret. He can't imagine going months without seeing the boy.

Tae hyung expressed his sadness and said, "I feel sorry for her. Your little nephew and you are inseparable...as if you were father and son. You appear to be ready to become a father."

"I'm not going to father children any time soon. I am only interested in one boy later. That will all happen in a few years. Kwans'Appa was, indeed, an absentee father. He knows me better than his biological father does. I adore that kid, and he resembles Eunjin and me. I basically raised him as well "Jungkook grinned.

Jung Suk had just entered their private space "Are you still okay? Do you need any additional beverages?" With a broad smile, he inquired. He appears to be energetic and cheery.

"Nothing for me, thank you," Taehyung says with a smile and a nod.

As the group began to discuss business, Jung Suk took a seat next to Jimin.

Jimin's eyes widen, "Oh my goodness, I almost forgot. Did you receive your banquet invitation to the town's hottest party? MANDATE Advertising is in its 15th year of business. This is the most famous invitation in town. There is a buzz in the air. I'm wondering if Krystal will be available to serve as my plus-one. At  least, you already had your dates." He is enthralled with Italian models. Krystal is the third woman he is casually dating right now.

"Yeah, my PA sent it through. I've already RSVP'd. I'll attend with my fiance, obviously," Jungkook said, inhaling deeply. He despises these evening social gatherings, but Sullia enjoys them. She was already annoyed that he hadn't been available to spend time with her in the last few days. She wanted to become more physical in their relationship after their night together on Jin- Hyung's yacht,  even inviting him to stay over at her apartment. He is, nevertheless, hesitant to move so quickly.

"Mandate hired one of Hoseoks' most exquisite conference rooms, the Royal Lady room, and they were willing to pay extra because it was so beautiful," Taehyung grinned. "They were willing to pay more because it was already reserved for a family reunion, but you know Hobi...he will go out of his way to make people happy. So he worked something out, and the family reunion will take place in the morning. 'Two birds with one  shot!!"

"Are you taking Dilraba?" Jimin asked Taehyung, who nodded. Taehyung has chosen to reunite with his ex-girlfriend, but he wants to take it slowly. He didn't want to hear anything about Cha-Young, his uni nemesis. He didn't want to work with her nearly two years ago when she returned for the exhibition, and when his memories failed to return, he and Dilraba rekindled their relationship, so she decided to return home permanently and continue with her life. He hasn't heard from her, but he is having strange visions about her which disturbed him.

Jung Suk grinned and said, "I also received an invite...let me quickly see if I can score a date!" He quickly took out his expensive phone and dialed a number. His friends smirked amusedly as he grinned. Jung Suk smugly closed his phone after speaking with someone. They had no idea who he was speaking to because he had not mentioned the person's name.

Jimin smirked, "You look pleased. Did you get a date to the banquet?'

Jung Suk laughs softly "Oh yes. Ms. Song, the gorgeous woman, has just said she wouldn't mind accompanying me to the event. She was concerned because her sister was also invited, but I assured her that she could accompany my brother. "

Jimin and Taehyung had to quickly diffuse a situation that might be about to explode because their little maknae didn't look himself after the revelation. Jung Suk looked like someone who had just scored his first billion won, but Jungkook looked as if he was about to explode.

Jungkook leaned back in his seat and drew his finger across his lower lip. "You...you asked Ms. Song to be your date?" he inquired, his voice calm and collected. The Hyungs were astounded by his cool demeanor.

"Yes...she is so beautiful," Jung Suk said with a wide smile." I've asked her out, but she's hesitant...but at least we'll have a lunch date, and I'm hoping she'll accept a real date. As a result, she agreed to attend the mandate banquet. So, wish me luck... I might get a very sexy girlfriend one of these days," he joked.

"She's luring him in, and when he's caught in the net...he'll die poor," Jungkook snorted softly to himself. He needs to pop Lee's bubble. He will not allow Jenna to take his friend for a joyride. He swallows and clears his throat.

Hyung's eyes widened as he sat up straight just as he was about to say something... Oh no!

"Er... thank you very much, Jung-Suk. We had a few hours on the road ahead of us."Jimin shook his head and looked at Jungkook, saying, "We'll be leaving now. Thanks, buddy. Can we have the bill?"

"Oh no," Jung-Suk says dismissively, waving his hand. "It's completely free on the house. I'll invite you after this old coffee shop has been renovated. So don't be strangers," he said as the three friends prepared to leave. Jungkook's jaws were tightly locked as he stared in front of him.

After they all bowed to Jung-suk in a goodbye greeting, Jimin linked his elbow with their maknaes' and half-dragged him to the door. Jimin could feel Jungkook's rough breath in his ear.

Jimin looks at his maknae and says softly, "Don't start anything, okay? Do you want to reveal to Jung-Suk that you and Jenna were University sweethearts? Please don't start a fight that isn't necessary."

"OK...but he needs to be warned," Jungkook frowned. "She'll milk him dry and abandon him in the cold. "

"Yeah, but now is not the time for squabbles. He'll figure it out for himself. Don't get involved, okay?" Jimin looked at him with a serious expression. Jungkook took a deep breath and nodded.

When Taehyung arrived and they all got into Jimins' sportscar, he said, "OK... I need to get some rest now. You don't mind if I take a nap in the back. My head feels like it's about to blow up." he looks at the, with a pained expression.

Both Jungkook and Jimin are concerned about Taehyung. "When did you first notice headaches?"

Taehyung didn't respond but just get into the car and rest his head on the headrest, close eyes.

"Do you think his memory is starting to come back?" Jimin asks Jungkook, concerned." It looks like his brain has started to heal."

 He peeked at the back of the car where Taehyung was resting with his eyes closed on the headrest. 

Jungkook nods and whispers back, "It seems so he started to remember intimate details of him and Cha-young."

Jimin moved around to the driver's side and got in. Jungkooks' brows were deeply knit together thinking about the woes of Taehyungs' struggle for the past two years. He and Jimin will have some explaining to do when the truth gets out.

He inhaled deeply and got into the car.
